A nice and quiet place to rest.

Great place to stay, great restaurant!

We received a mistreatment from the. Italian restaurant manager, basically lacked to hit us… He's never been to a place he'd still been given so lousy. Service… It's thousands of rules that didn't inform us and it looked like he had a military man on us, he disrespected us in every way. I never recommend it.

The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect! Beautiful beach, you see amazing sunrises. The Italian restaurant has great food as well. Chill atmosphere not a party zone which is great. Not much to the basic room, but they do have upgrade options if you need more space. The team at the reception desk was amazing, they assisted us with a nightmare car rental issue. By the way NEVER rent a car from Economy RAC, they are extortionist! Other than that, this is a wonderful getaway destination, highly recommended.

Food without flavor. And superrrrr face.! I could put music on. You can't take anything outside of the rooms. The Wi-Fi does not work. Of the worst hotels that I visited.

Great location, the beach is very unspoiled and very convenient. Great staff, good food and drinks. Nice pool area, beautiful landscaping. A true resort experience.

It did not meet our expectations, Very haughty restaurant service, Breakfast undone, rooms Do not change sheets, very small, lots of flies everywhere, very dangerous beach for children, we rescued their pizza exc, pool ok …
Very high cost for your facilities and services …

The beach is right in front and beautiful. The pool is right across from the beach with an incredible view for the sunrise. The staff is amazing and will help you plan any activities you want in the area. I wasnt able to eat in the restaurant but I hear it's fantastic. I also have to give Jose and Karla extra special thanks for helping me get my car out when it was stuck in the sand. You saved my life. I will be back for a longer stay next time!

If you're not a customer of them they don't help you at all, they're not nice.

Yesterday I went to beautiful beach and this place the worst I have ever seen in the area.

Perfect place to rest very pleasant and enjoyable. Really a place to rest and enjoy in family super recommended.

Excellent Service from the staff, the rooms are comfortable and super close to the beach (the sea is with very strong currents). However I do not recommend eating in the hotel restaurant, the service is very slow, the prices high and the food is not tasty. Also in the hotel they have bicycles for the use of the guests the bad thing is that there is 4km of Ballast Street to enter the hotel, but when arriving it is worth it, a 4X4 car enters perfectly.

By far the worst hotel on our Costa Rica trip. Of luxury no trace, rather overpriced hostel. Totally inhabited, nothing cared. Breakfast only 1 plate per person. No safe, no hair dryer, no beach chairs. Never again!

An excellent place to relax sea and pool A good restaurant.

Owners very proud of their establishment really go out of their way to accommodate you. Bit of a bumpy track to get here and $15 taxi to get to main town. Incredible beach reputedly has undercurrents. Decent breaking waves so not for kids. Sand is really hot! No amenities on beach.

Nice place. Isolated beach, away from everything, not expensive for the area. Recommended for those who do not seek confusion. Unfortunately the breakfast was miserable, both for the choice and for the quantity, the buffet was served and not free: 1/3 of banana 1 tablespoon of Gallo Pinto and 1 of eggs, a little fruit, no jams, margarine and toast: ugly figure, too bad!

The really only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it is right on the beach and the pool is nice and warm. Every now and then, beautiful red macaws fly through the air. I am fond of writing good reviews but the time I take to rate this overpriced hotel.
The hotel itself can only be reached on an impossible, approximately 5 km long road with countless potholes, which has brought even deep relaxed like me to my limits… far from the center. Which is why you have to think carefully if you go out of the hotel again or not when you are there.
The rooms are very large but very unloved, old and Spartan furnished. Many wear marks. We had a wooden structure attached to the wall at the head end of the bed, which geknarzted at every turn.
Our shower head was broken and the shower controller has the shower and the water turned on by the wear itself so that it has trickled again and again. Under the wooden ceiling, rats were active all night and made quite a noise.
The greatest audacity we experienced at breakfast. We got the food from an employee put on the plate and when I asked for a little piece of tomato more on my sparsely occupied Telker, he almost twisted his eyes. I am accustomed to put breakfast on the plate, above all at this expensive price for the night.

The place looks nice, but the price of beer is more than double the amount others nearby charge.

It is far from the center and the road very bad.
The beach is very inclined to walk or run, signs alert of currents in the sea.
Clean rooms, no TV. Good parking.
Very nice pool and in the restaurant very nice view. We only had breakfast, and everything is limited: one cup of coffee, a single glass of Tang (I thought it was pretty bad taste).
The water went all morning, uncomfortable for practical purposes.

Clean comfortable, and great staff. Restaurant, bar and beach all available once you step foot out of your room. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Disastrous! I would give 0 stars if it were possible. Very unfriendly staff! Very expensive! Bad food! First, there was no charge for credit card payment, but was then simply charged. Lots of mosquitoes.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Staff was helpful and really nice people. The food was really good but kind of price. The view from our room was amazing. Saw different birds and animals around the hotel. We had the pool and beach just for ourselves. Just be prepared to drive on a bad road to get to the hotel from town.

The beach front, air conditioning, and restaurant was great! I would stay there again. However I was caught by surprise when I was hit with paying the driving who picked me up from the airport. It advertises"shuttle"… this is not true. They just call a taxi that you pay for.

Charming hotel right on the beach which you will have to share with almost no one. Excellent restaurant on site, very friendly and welcoming staff makes your stay truly enjoyable.

Nice beach front hotel 4 km south of Puerto Jimenez, on a narrow dirt road, with a couple of tiny narrow bridges over creeks. The hotel has bungalows type cabins, some on the ground floor and some above on the second floor. It has swimming pool, restaurant, and in theory they accept pets, but I didnt see any. In our case, the room had a large jacuzzi, while in other cases that room is use for an extra bed. The hotel offers several bikes to stroll along the road. The beach is ondulated and steep — so it seems dangerous for swiming but great for just laying in the sun or talking a walk. The food in the restaurant, which is locate on a second floor above the reception (would be an issue if you have difficulty climbing stairs), There is no TV in any of the rooms, which is actually a good thing, but there is Wi-Fi all over the place. Only TV available is in the restaurant.

If you want to be near the sea, but be quiet, with good food and good service this is the place…

This is not a fancy resort. Don't kid yourself. You get what you pay for. If you don't get a bungalow in the front on the beach, you will probably be disappointed. Of course, that costs more. The beach is nice, but the sand gets extremely hot during the day. The pool needs a chiller as it's like sitting in a hot tub. We generally went to town to eat in some nice places, and our cabbie, Clevar, was the nicest on time driver we could have found. Sunrise is beautiful and the locals are nice. Local activities are good.

Great spot on the beach in a wilder portion of Costa Rica. Could use a little upgrading in the rooms. Actual property and pool area very nice.

Excellent place, I liked it a lot, I've gone on a couple of occasions and on both I liked for its beautiful views, proximity to the sea and the beauty of the facilities.

They hosted my Uncle's wedding very well. They have a bar on the beach, DELICOIUS food and great cooks. Although the sand is hot midday it is a great place to relax and have a quiet day to yourself. 5/5 Stars for Agua Dulce! Keep it up!

Hotel was ok, clean and at the beach but rather a place where young kids get drunk and party until 3 am at the pool with loud music, screaming and banging on the second floor so you can't sleep below, definately not a place for families or early birds no peace at all we left after our first night, clogged toilet when we arrived, burned food cheap breakfast, nothing Gourmet, no Wifi in room. We did complained no answer from management though to resolve this issue. The Hotel was ok, clean, on the beach, but rather a place for a party who young people, as in the ball man get drunk until 3 in the morning with loud music at the Pool, yelling and screaming, and in the 2nd floor, jump around, and knock so that you can make in no mind to. Definitely not a place for families, or early risers, the little morning company. No rest. We went to the first night. Clogged toilet upon arrival, burnt meals and cheap Breakfast, no Wifi in the rooms also Have complained but have gotten no response from the Management. El Hotel esta bien limpio y frente a la playa pero no es un lugar para descansar en un ambiente tranquilo es un lugar donde gente joven se enfiesta en la piscina hasta las 3 AM en la madrugada con musica alta, gritando y pegando el segundo piso para que uno no puede dormir toda la noche en el primer piso. Definitivamente no es un lugar para familias o gente que se levantan temprano. Nada de tranquilidad. Nos fuimos despues la primera noche envez que 3 noches.

The food was very poor and the pool water was very warm. This is in the Osa Peninsula. Very hot area. Our rooms were very plain but good. Staff were friendly.

Excellent place, beach almost private, the service is very good, the rooms very clean and fresh.

You definitely need a 4x4 car if you stay here. The only way to get there is a very dusty humpy dirt road. If you made the 3 miles, you will get rewarded with a fantastic beach. The hotel is located right in the middle of nowhere. So don't forget to bring food and drinks if you don't like the overpriced items, the hotel has to offer. The rooms are clean. The pool however wasn't very clean. Breakfast was only 2 hours sharp in the early morning. If you arrived after the time slot, they charged you. The food in the restaurant was ok.

I'll start with what we liked: -the man who worked at breakfast -stingrays in the ocean. Lots of birds. -close proximity to beach -was clean What we didn't like: -missing fridge from room -paper thin walls/doors, could see into room next door -menu was WAY over priced for quality and quality of food -very inconvenient to downtown without a car. 3 miles away on extremely dusty road. -paid a lot more than what we got in return. Expected this to be one of our favorite stops and it wasn't.

Off the grid but overall lovely place.

Amazing time here a few years back! Cant wait to go again!
