Absolutely reccomended! Due to the pandemic, a few nights in el Gecko became a 3 month stay. Thanks to the owners it became 3 fantastic months and we became good friends, almost family. I highly recommend el Gecko for cleanliness, location, the tours they offer and the fantastic and helpful owners … Keep up the good work Inge and Juan… Btw, I miss the kids.

Terrible experience! We paid $45 for a snorkeling tour and once on the boat he leaves us on a beach telling us that it was not possible to snorkel because of the red algae in the sea. I put here the message with the detailed tour: "We leave from Playa Organos de Paquera, it includes Snorkeling, aqua, fresh, fruits and a sandwich. Price $50 per person”. At no time did he tell us that we were going to go to a beach, let alone that we were going to stay there for 5 hours because you couldn't snorkel. At least they could have told us that today we were not going to be able to snorkel by the sea but of course they knew that if they told us that, we would not want to go and they would have lost money. We returned before the end of the tour to ask them to refund us a part of the money and after much discussion, they refunded us $10… But the worst is coming now! When we got into our car, a friend or relative of theirs insulted us (quote: "malparida”) and hit our car with a stick or something iron! We left anyway but they chased us with their motorcycle until we stopped at a ferry parking lot, there tmb stopped and the woman began to hit the glass of the car again. We had to call the police! I've never really had such a thing happen to me, alucino!
