This was the best hotel we stayed in during our journey through Costa Rica. The owner and his family are extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are big and very cosy, the surrounding is a beautiful garden. Also the breakfast is delicious! We loved our stay there very much and recommend it to everyone!

La vue y est magique et les hôtes extrêmement accueillant. Nous étions proches d'activités (coffee tour, night hike tour, etc. ). Ils ont aussi un restaurant et la cuisine y est délicieuse.

If you want to watch birds, this is THE property! Hummingbirds in all variations directly in front of the door, parrots, etc. Which can be directly from the great Veranda of the main house. The rooms are situated above on a hill. A great little way there. Also there: Hummingbirds directly to the terraces. Room good, decent water pressure (! ). Also: by far the most friendly host of the holiday that tells all about birds and always a (free) coffee at the ready. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jam. In addition, not so expensive, about 50$ for the night. Something outside the car located, need. Recommendation!

Really nice restaurant (they also have rooms to let), very friendly and family-run. Our food (quesadillas) was delicious and made with love. In the back of the restaurant there are hummingbird feeders, so you can have your coffee and watch little guys fly around. There are binoculars and a birdwatching guide around. The owners make adorable felt souvenirs (mostly hummingbirds of all colors) which are special and really stand out from anything you get in Costa Rica. It is their own designs. Definitely stop there on your way from Arenal to Monteverde!
