Very attentive and friendly staff.
Large and clean pool.
Large and secure parking.
Mexican restaurant with good dishes.
Rooms for 2 small people simple but comfortable.
Typical breakfast just to start the day.
In short, recommended for those looking for something simple.

I loved my time in Plinio. The staff is super nice and attentive to needs. The owners are super cool, and friendly. The owner of the restaurant and his staff are really my favorite ❤️
You will love the pool, the hammocks, the people who come from everywhere, the atmosphere …

Super friendly I don’t think I’ve ever had a better stay at any hostel thanks to Cory and Britt and their staff! I can’t wait to come back just to stay there!

It’s super convenient because it’s right on a main road that leads to downtown Quepos or right to the beach for only ¢335! It’s on a beautiful property, surrounded by palm trees and has a great view of the ocean. The pool is spacious and clean and the bar on the property serves great food and has live music Friday night! Such a blast! The dorms are spacious, although there is only one indoor bathroom in an 8 person dorm, which may or may not be normal for you. There are other bathrooms on the property you can trot to if you gotta go. The owners are a couple of the most chill people you will ever meet and can tell you just about everything regarding the area. Tons of tours to get you connected with as well! Totally worth the stay! Oh! One minor detail. Bring earplugs! Being right on the main road means you can hear all the loud traffic from about 4am on. Not to mention the birds that have quite the lengthy discussion as well. If you sleep hard, no problem for you but if you wake up kind easily, bring earplugs!

It is a hostel with charm, Corey and Britt are handling it, wear it with a lot of love, and make you feel like at home. The staff is friendly and the music evenings are unique.

This place is great for experiencing Costa Rica. The property is unique like a tropical gem in a rain forest. It’s perfectly located near great food and activities, plus it has its own bar and restaurant with a chef who provides amazing daily specials. We saw monkeys, sloths, and many exotic birds right from our hotel balcony. Do it at the Plinio!

The location is beautiful, the folks at the B&B, Taco Bar and Language school are all great, and it is a close bus ride to the beach and Manuel Antonio Park.

Welcoming, clean, comfortable, fun. Convenient to restaurants and shopping, and to the beach and national park. Quiet after 10pm.

They have a cool taco restaurant called "8 Tejas" where everything including the beer costs only 800 colones, or about $1.50.

Excellent service… Delicious original Mexican Tacos… Affordable place… Nice music, and live music… Big parking area… Accessible spot…

Wow this is THE HOSTEL to stay if you are going to Manuel Antonio National Park. Trust me the rooms are great the vide is sooo chill, I met tons of other backpackers, omg the Taco bar is amazeballs! All the staff are super friendly and helpful especially Sergio and Will were really great!

Their Taco Bar is great. Everything 800 colones. Had the veggie taco — not bad. The pork tacotacos were great. Hot sauce pretty hot! Which I love. Mango daiquiri was delicious. (Strawberry daiquiri tasted like an air freshener. Lol. ) Good tequila and beer too.

Beautiful place, the attention is great.

The service, amenities and value were excellent. We booked a private room with a shared bathroom and no AC but the in-room fan was more than adequate to offset the heat. Breakfast was included, basic but delicious (beans and rice, eggs, fruit, coffee). Very friendly staff and great vibe. Came back from an exhausting day to a delightfully clean room — had no idea housekeeping was provided! Only negative was that the room faced a sometimes busy street, but after a full day of activities it didn't bother us much. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: free breakfast, nice hang out area, close to bus stop to Manuel Antonio, rooms and washrooms cleaned regularly, free parking. Cons: near the main road to MA, rooms don't have windows so if you are sensitive to sound you may have disturbed sleep. No AC, just ceiling fan.

The best hostel we experienced so far, every aspect we considered was perfect. Clean, good equipment at the kitchen, tours provided, pool and bar area, hot showers, nice view to the sea, amazing breakfast, parking spaces and the Costa Rican Wildlife is almost guaranteed. Thanks for making the stay in Manuel Antonio so unforgettable.

Excellent atmosphere, although they are very strict with the time to turn off the lights and the noise.

Amazing hostel with a resort like feel. The owners are amazing, always have time for a chat and are willing to share information about how to best enjoy your stay. Even though the location isn’t right in town, or on the beach, you are a very quick drive, bus, cab ride, or even a spirited walk away from everything you need. The free breakfast is great and we were even joined by squirrel monkeys, which we were not even able to see at the national park. You can tell the employees genuinely care about the property, and business and that makes all the difference in the world. Fabulous job!

Wow! This place was great. But first of all, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful! This hostel is unique and you will not find an other place like it. Must go!
