We stayed at Crocs for an Amazing 10 days! The hotel is very nice, rooms are great, the location is Awesome! The restaurants are extremely efficient and the food is absolutely delicious! The pool area is wonderful and the sunsets are so beautiful! Erick, Starlen, Johan, Minor and Rafael were exceptional! Erick can schedule all of your excursions with ease! I highly recommend this property! The only negative is the casino. Needs to accept American dollars. We even met the owner, Jennifer and she was so very nice and gracious! Five stars all around!

I have been there 2 times. Once before pandemic and once during. Both times it was great service, friendly staff and great atmosphere. 2 thumbs up…

Awesome time, the staff was awesome and Minor our waiter almost every-time was Amazing. The hotel was clean, food was above and beyond our expectations Can’t wait to go back!

We were only here for a day but had a really good experience. Great customer service, accommodation, cleanliness and over all beautiful place. Only complaint is not having a non slip mat for the showers. It is very slippery and someone can fall.

Recommended 100%, a beautiful place to share with your partner, family or friends, luxury facilities, spacious comfortable rooms, with sea view, spectacular sunsets, the attention of the staff is incredible, the best in food and drinks, they handle very well the issue of food intolerances, there is no hotel in Jaco with as many quality services as this resort has, we are extremely grateful and wish to return soon and enjoy again the experience we live these days.

Great staff, food, and drinks.

Our favorite place. The service at the pool, the food, the breakfast is too much, everything there is exceptional. We always stay several times a year from 3 nights or more, we choose the same rooms overlooking the pool and the sea.

Excellent place, I would go back and recommend it, both for friends and for families and small children.
The food is delicious, they use excellent quality products, as in drinks and cocktails. The hotel is beautiful, the treatment is excellent, super good attention and I loved that the employees took my baby into account for everything. Super recommended.
Aspects to improve:
— When the reservation was made, an email was sent to the reservations email for certain specifications that were offered, but the mail was not answered, specifically it was to request a cot in the room, because they offer this possibility.
— When we arrived at the hotel, we requested the cot at ma reception, we were told that "of course, with pleasure" but in three days the cot never arrived and nobody informed us what happened.
— Due to pandemic we were told that the cleaning service was only being given on request. The second day we called reception to request it because the dumpsters were full and there was no more toilet paper. Never arrived ek cleaning service, even requested a second time at the reception and never arrived. <
— There is a lack of security in the back of the hotel that faces the beach, because while there, non-guests entered to buy liquor, drunk people, bad-looking people and there is no one watching who enters and leaves the hotel on the beach, which puts children, belongings and the guests themselves at risk.

We really enjoyed the stay. Excellent attention from all staff, good facilities and cleanliness. Very good food. Recommended.

Amazing place! The staff is very friendly!

Very nice, clean and excellent customer service. I get a lot of help at every meal time in the different restaurants of the hotel, with my son's dietary restrictions.

Excellent service. Nice family atmosphere and lots of security. The building and rooms very beautiful and excellent condition. The pool complex is very spacious, really enjoyed. Food is the best thing about the place; exceeds expectations! Delicious breakfasts, very generous snacks, Gourmet menu and quality of ingredients. I highly recommend it.

Front desk staff seems like they don’t want to help people they don’t know anything they can’t answer any questions maybe it’s a language barrier I’m not really sure.

I don’t know. Information all over the web says this casino is open 24/7 but I went at 2:45am and they weren’t allowing people inside since they close at 3. If you could get that changed and/or post your hours of operation that would be great.

Horrible experience at this hotel! DO NOT RENT THE PENTHOUSE UNIT 1644! Everything was broken! The hot tub was filthy dirty, The A/C was broken upon arrival. Half our stay their we had maintenance in our unit trying to fix the problem. You would think after spending alot of money everything would be working upon arrival! Front desk was very rude along with all of the security on the property. Do Not stay here! You are better off spending half the money at a different property and having a much better time! Very disappointed with you guys!

Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. It's a wonderful comfort.

Good morning a pleasure I would like to comment, that in the different hotels we bellisimos in costa rica, this can be counted as one of them, the comment that I suggest is that the attention staff should take a lot but a lot of training since the facilities do not go with the service, no ice, hairs in the cocktails, call several times, go to the reception and know that the people who were solving were already gone no matter the customer, what worries me most is that they have the idea of being an all-inclusive with that service, thanking you in advance.

Great service. Clean place with a beautiful beach view and several pools. Restaurants and a bar inside. The best casino on the jaco strip. Highly recommend!

I loved every minute of my vacation here, the staff was amazing they even help me with Spanish! The casino gave me to feel like I was back home in the States great atmosphere, locals also make you feel at home. Amenities were great, rooms were clean well maintained with a nice view. Walk out back and your right on the beach, that's if you can pass up the amazing pool that sits just off of the main beach. Just a min or 2 walk away from the main shopping and eatery strip. I can't forget the crazy decor & 2 pet baby crocodiles that live in the display out by the pool. Great vacation destination!

Just got home from a great week in Jaco Beach, Costa Rice and Croc's Resort. The staff is excellent, very friendly and willing to go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The concierge staff was extremely helpful in booking various excursions and getting great rates. We rented a 2 bedroom condo and it had a beautiful ocean view. A well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. It even had a washer and dryer which made packing easy and light. We ate at the various restaurants and had great meals. The breakfast included option was well worth it, as we have not tasted fresh fruit like they had in months and there was an omelette bar or eggs to order option every day.

Went there to have dinner with my family. I think that people saying that Crocs is one of the best places to eat/stay in Jaco is for a reason, I mean, the food there is amazing, there's a lot of options to choose from multiple restaurants. Props to Rosy the waiter (if I haven't spelled her name wrong), she was very kind. And of course, the people in the kitchen that makes the delicious food.

First of all I want to say that I very rarely write reviews but I took a lot of time to write this so that people do not have to experience the same kind of appalling service that I had to. We booked our trip in late November and asked for an ocean view room and included some notes in our reservation about how we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary with them and had been there during all the chaos of their grand opening. No response. In late December I received an email from Crocs stating that there would be a "3rd Anniversary in Crocs Resort party featuring the International Music Presentation of Juan Magan" and that the tickets for attending would cost $70. I responded back with an email about how we were aware of the anniversary and that we were celebrating our own and asked about any deals for guests of the hotel. No response. When we arrived at Crocs on Friday February 9th we asked the usual questions about getting upgraded because of our anniversary the lady told us that they were fully booked on account of the 3rd Anniversary Party. It wasn't until we started asking some more questions that she let us know that the pool would be closed to the public after 1PM on Saturday and people would not be allowed on the pool deck afterwards without a ticket for the concert. I asked if she could offer us any kind of discount or deal as we obviously paid a lot of money to stay at Crocs.

Awesome resort, great good, great pool, great drinks. A little pricey but it's worth it.

Room was clean, modern and well taken care off, hotel staff did a great job keeping on top of the linens. Pool was beautiful, though a little short on deck chairs. 30 second walk to the black sand beach, great surf.

Staying at this establishment is fine if you want to stay at a beach resort that is more like attending a rave party then a resort unfortunately. They constantly play their music so load you cannot enjoy yourself at the pool restaurant or pool area, or even your room as it is so loud it overrides your own music, TV or conversations in your own room. While I like music, I don't really think it is appropriate to crank the music day and night, as it ruins the experience from the people that I talked to. Several fellow quests felt they needed to leave and go to other establishments to be able to enjoy a relaxing beach environment. TOO BAD, but you have to have someone who can be smarter than the volume control, or you drive your paying customers and clients away from the beautiful complex on the beach.

Worst hotel ever, no towels enough for 4 persons since we r 4. Every day during my staying there, had to call them repeatedly 3 to 5 times so they come finally after 2 hrs almost, breaakfast the same and the worst. Do not hesitate to choose a one star hotel instead. U ll get the same service. Strongly unrecommended.

Croc's Hotel & Casino is located in Jaco, one of the most developed beachfront areas in Costa Rica. It attracts a specific type of local and forgein guest given it is less than three hour drive from San Jose. While there is a large swimming pool, beach and large bar, the casino dominates the space and atmosphere. If you are looking to explore the area and Costa Rica, Croc's is not for you. However if you are after a self contained experience that will give you a small safe glimpse of local culture, this is the place for you. However be ready for a pretty standard experience that could be had in any other four star resort in a Spanish speaking country. The bar area is dominated by sports screens either showing American football, baseball or English Premiership games. The cocktails are well prepared and while the service is extremely cordial the staff spend more time staring at their input screens than interacting with guests. It also seems that mistakes with the bill are common. It happened three times in the past of three hours. The food is of good quality and is dominated by standard food choices such as salads, burgers and steaks. The restaurant which is used to serve breakfast is nicely appointed and sits about 60. The breakfast is buffet style and comes with a cost of $20 USD. While the quality of the food is good it is just average. It is probably an area that needs to be improved on to keep the four star rating.

Nice hotel with everything you would want within the property. Food is expensive, the jacuzzi's are not hot, but it's in a great location and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. Nice rooms too.

Beautiful, the view does not come included in the lodging unless you pay more. Lunch Buffet. The food of the restaurants Carita but is close to Jaco center. The pool beautiful and few people compared to other hotels. Take advantage of the casino courtesy ticket. There is Wi-Fi.

The staff and concierge were so nice. I had multiple problems of my own making, and they were gracious, efficient and always helpful. The food was out of this world and the facilities and entertainment phenomenal.

I had a wonderful time at the resort! Everything and everyone was super! My personal favorites was the bartenders, Nila, Warren, Angel and the Concierge, Johanna Lopez!. And all the rest of the bar staff who I seen were doing a super job! The place was so clean too! It seems someone was cleaning, mopping and dusting all the time and it showed! If you want to know, the ONLY problem I had was the key for the room and elevator kept getting messed up and I had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. Other than that, I would come and stay again and also tell my friends to stay there if they were going to Costa Rica! Great job all! Also the food was exceptional and very well presented! 5 Stars all the way!

Definitely had a good experience staying at Croc's Casino Resort, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good place to visit if your traveling alone or with family and kids. Resort was kept very clean at all times and the location was far enough from the busy part of town but also close enough get to by car/taxi if you wanted to go eat, shop, or bar hoping. Pool area was very big which was nice so that you could find an area to relax and not have all the kids running and jumping around you. From the casino's in the area Croc's had the biggest and nicest one around the only downside was that even though you were gambling you still had to pay for your own drinks and also the tables (Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, etc. ) would only be open from certain times (Around 3pm — 4am). Overall had a great time and would definitely consider going back again.

Power went out last couple of days, but the staff was really nice and accommodating.

The casino is right on the beach, the service was excellent. Overall I would really recommend this place.

Review of Casino Bar and Parsley & Pepper restaurant. I ordered the Buffalo Wings well done as an Appetizer, I got 4 pieces of fatty fried chicken with no sauce on them. A small dish of BBQ sauce was provided and tasted horrible. Only ate one before I gave up on the dish and the restaurant. No discount given and no comments made by them about not having Buffalo sauce for their "Buffalo Wings". Avoid the place.

The sport bar excellent service and nice atmosphere.

I think that the architecture and the hotel is extremely nice. I fell to sleep here, but we went to eat. The restaurant was very nice, elegant, and others, but unfortunately the final product did not reflect the food. We expected something delicious. I was going to ask for a plate, and on the recommendation of the waitress so I changed it. The recommendation did not know anything. It was really disappointing. Had No flavor, it was missing something and so on. I was not only I did not like my food. My girlfriend also liked what he asked. We left disappointed in the restaurant when we thought we were going to have a delicious meal. Ahh, also the price was expensive. I admit that is a pretty restaurant in a beautiful hotel, but for the lousy food we had, the price was overly expensive. That was my experience.

Everything in the hotel is very interesting. The attention very good, the employees are all very cervical! I will return but to stay at this great hotel!

The casino police is horrendous the food terrible better the Marriott I really disappointed with the personal bad training specially in the casino they are a bunch of bad people mafia in the casino go somewhere else.

This hotel without doubt is a major attraction in the pacific. With casino for vicious, a great pool area, and space for meals. A couple of crocodiles in a small pool for them alone. And of course on the 3rd floor, the disco-holly moly with a view of the sea.

Without a doubt the best spot positioned in the area and with the largest range of products and activities offered to its customers make this Hotel the place that you cannot miss visiting in your trip to jaco. Croc's Casino Resort has become the place with the most impressive and luxurious facilities, thus having the greatest variety of products, hospitality and customer service, in addition to their 3 amazing restaurants where you can enjoy a true gastronomical experience that make this place the number one in the area.
