Good place with all the basics. Fair rates and very close to the beach.

Nice place, good food, close to the beach.

Very well located near the beach and many other bars and restaurants. Rooms are simple which is a nice change. Pool with its waterfall that massages the back. Friendly people. Free breakfast very delicious. Oh and the colony of birds singing in the morning.

We end up having to stay at Diuwak only because there's really not many other options for hotels in Dominical. We love Dominical and love supporting the local community but it just stinks we have to spend our money at Diuwak. It's a decent place, with the exception that there's never a room with a nice working shower with hot water ever, but I only decided to write this review after a hugely disappointing experience with the complete lack of customer service at the front desk staff. Guest satisfaction is most definitely NOT a priority at this hotel, it's money. I have stayed here many times with tourist groups that we bring to Dominical, so I feel I have a pretty good level of knowledge of the place. I decided to bring my family here to show them Dominical and Costa Rica, and because our reservation somewhere else fell through, we again had to resort to Diuwak. I know there are rooms with room for three people, but had made our reservation through travelocity for 2; upon check in and realizing this mistake, I didn't think to correct it or that it would be a problem. The guy checking us in was upset to know we had three people and was attempting to charge us more for the room because of that. I tried to reason with him and was more than willing to pay the extra $5 to cover our third guest at breakfast, and even logged into travelocity and showed him that if I were to book a room with 2 people or 3 people that it didn't matter and the price was the same.

The rate is very high with relation to what they offer, very small, smell bad, without drinking water, without furniture to accommodate the travel clothes, and state in best hotels paganga at the same rate.

The only good point is the swimming pool ans to be near the beach. All the rest is wrong. We paid $ 540 for 4 nights at 3 personns. Highly priced for the price of the hotel room. For the same standard we usually paid $ 75 a night. Bathroom: stained mirror, regular water break due to a fault in the hotel. Would need a good renovation, broken tile. Shower wall incorrectly installed and closing once on 2. Bed: mattress completely rammed. Breakfast: insufficient in terms of choice, taste and quantity given the price of the room. The worst breakfast in hotel in Costa Rica. The waiter is incompetent: there is in the breakfast menu a fruit juice included that he never served or even offered. You ask for tea, he does not ask you what you want and he uses camomile. Continental breakfast = Toasts with 3 pieces of fruit. Pinto Gallo = 2 pieces of fried plantain, a small serving of rice and scrambled eggs. In short, do not stay at this hotel, you will find much better for the same price or cheaper for the same quality. Do not waste your money at home. He laughs at the customer. Always work close to the pool. Bar closed all day.

Simple hotel with AC steps away from the beach. OK pool. No gym. Bathroom is one water line for shower, toilet and faucet.

Overpriced for what you get. Rooms pretty simple. Food was cold when we ate there. Not recommended.

Rooms do not at all look as advertised. Way to overpriced and advertised whitout taxes. Room wasn't cleaned after first night until after we asked for it. 1 star for the location right next to the beach.
