A beautiful jungle lodge with great food, hospitality and service. We enjoyed open air sleeping in our private comfortable room. The ocean and pool were like bath water. Watching the monkeys, napping in a hammock while drinking a pina colada and touring the jungle by boat, kayak and foot where some-of my favorites.

Setting is breathtaking — if you like wildlife you'll love it here. Access to the lagoon, sea and jungle. Lovely staff and experienced guides.

Great hotel in the middle of the jungle and right on the Caribbean. The rooms are huge, no air conditioning but fans. There is no need for air conditioning, as the sea is a constant breeze through the rooms. There are no glass panes. The windows go around the room and are provided with very firm insect protection. Very clean.
We were only skeptical, but then we would have preferred to stay there instead of continuing to travel.

An atypical place where you do not seek luxury but authenticity.
A simple wooden lodge with mosquito nets and a bathroom summary but everything is there, nature and wildlife is everywhere, we take full the eyes and the staff is at the top.

Tourist Trap; BE WARE! Was there in the middle of August 2017. Small horrible rooms (no dresser, no closet, old beat up mattresses). One main dish per lunch and dinner: if you don't like the piece of chicken or beef they offer then you'll have to fill up on lousy pasta, bread or potatoes — cheap, cheap, cheap. Don't expect to see much wildlife (maybe some monkeys, a few plain birds, one species of iguana and a red frog) ; forget what they show in the pictures. If you order overpriced drinks, they don't tell you about the extra 20% you'll find on your bill on check-out day. Have you ever been to a Caribbean resort where you can't swim in the sea? Well be prepared to stay out of the water at this one: find out why. One tiny swimming pool with 14 chairs. No fishing, canopy walk or zip-lining excursions available from this location. Kayaks must be rented. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

Excellent hotel with excellent service in the midst of nature! Very much worth a meet!

One of the best experiences that I will never forget. Thanks to all the staff, Nora, the receptionist, Augustus captain, Mikel the guide and to all in general were excellent with us.

Ok, so we stayed here on the first leg of our g-adventures trip. There are definitely pros and cons to this place. Overall, I thought it was really cool and an extremely unique experience. My wife on the other hand was overwhelmed by the bugs and other various critters. The staff are very friendly and the guides are knowledgable. There are a variety of amenities included like free coffee and crackers available 24 hours a day. You are part of the nature and while the grounds are manicured, the jungle environment is still present, including all the wildlife both good and bad. There are monkeys in the trees, but yes there is monkey poop on the sidewalks. There is beautiful lush trees, but the ratio of mosquitos to people is about 100:1. Apparently we stayed during beetle season so there were swarms of dozens around every light bulb in the place. The ocean is beautiful and only steps away, but you are cautioned not to go in it because of all the sharks, crocodiles, and sting rays. We found a crab running around in our room on the last day; Kinda funny, kinda creepy crawly. The rooms are more on the side of fancy bungalows than actual rooms. There are no windows, only screens and curtains. No a/c but nice ceiling fans. The sound of the jungle is amazing to fall asleep to, but the howler monkeys might wake you up in the morning. You really feel like you are in the jungle, but you also have nice showers, food and accommodations.

It's a beachside rainforest lodge. No windows in our room. Beds okay. Buffet food was fine though very similar food served each day.

Very quiet excellent attention wonderful landscapes and binds a unique shape of the jungle to the beach.

Simple accommodation in a great atmosphere. Who wants a luxury accommodation in the middle of the jungle? It was gorgeous!

Scenery in the middle of nowhere and all at once: the forest, the animals, the ocean and its beaches.
The lodge offers all the basic comforts. No need to do more. There's just enough to dry the clothes. There, it rains frequently, humidity is very important and the laundry does not dry!
