Fantastic romantic place. The hosts were super nice, very helpful. I will come back there for sure. Beautiful clean rooms. Super swimming pool. Delicious home-made breakfasts, made with love.
Perched in the hills above a series of low-key beaches… enjoy all the area has to offer without being in the hub bub of Tamarindo… and French speakers delight! The French owners are delightful and make you feel as welcome as family. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️ 🙏

We drove 5 hours, the last half an hour on an unmade road to arrive at the lodge at 1400. It was 35degrees and we were very tired and thirsty. The gates were locked and the phone went unanswered, so we knocked on the metal gate to attract attention. An enraged couple came out from the house swearing at us and telling us that check-in time was 3pm. We had not noticed this, but assumed that as with any other lodge, they would be able to wait in the shade until the room was ready! We were not even offered a glass of water, much less somewhere to park our car. We were so shocked at their attitude and hostility that we turned around and left. No other host in Costa Rica treated us like this — quite the opposite which is why it was such a trauma.
