Cheap hotel right on the Samara beachfront. Good location. Good food in the restaurant. Ok pool. cash only! it's like taking a bad time — travel. WHO DOESN'T ACCEPT CARDS? The city of Samara is not worth it. Very bad infrastructure. Most of the places takes no cards, only cash. No glass in the windows and a lot of noice from the bars at night. No AC. We had a lot of noice from the hotel's constant reconstruction. Had to remind the staff about cleaning our room, to give us toilet paper and clean towels. Mosquito nets in the windows are damaged. Horrible shower by the pool. The shower in the room is just a little bit better. Our room has a kitchen, but it's not a good one. Two out of three gass burners on the stove doesn't work. Very simple kitchen. In short, low price. You get what you pay for. Beachfront.
We stayed for one night. We were placed in a room next to the pool. From the looks of the hotel it looks great, nice beach, pool, etc… but the room was terrible. There was only one light that barely worked, I was afraid of would short circuit and had to unplug it. There were ants all over our room. There was no privacy, since the room wasn't air conditioned we couldn't draw the curtains. Anytime someone walked by our room they could see right into the room. There were people making noise most of the night, plus dogs barking until 2am. The chickens started up around 5am, so I think I got about 3 hrs sleep. I didn't feel especially safe, when I got up at 6 to look for coffee there was a man who didn't identify himself as an employee wandering the grounds and nothing is locked up, so people from outside the hotel can wander into The hotel. The beach restarant blasts music until midnight so ear plugs are a good idea. The door to our room was the scariest thing I've ever seen. There's no latch, so you must lock the door with a key everytime you enter or leave. This meant that if I left my daughter alone in the room, I had to lock her in! If there was a fire, or other emergency, I wonder what would happen! For the $70 they charged me, it wasn't worth it. Stay elsewhere.

A real paradise at Samara beach! The hispano-italian team are very friendly and helpful the food delicious a d very generously served with some fantastic fresh fruit cocktails Really worth 2 or 3 days (wish I had longer even)
