It is a very nice finca to enjoy and explore nature, whether on foot or on horseback. The atmosphere there is very pleasant, nice bungalows and the two nice owners spoil you with a great breakfast and delicious dinner, also in between you do not have to starve ☺. For nature lovers there is so much to see, not very far from there you can observe a breeding colony of frigate birds on the island of Bolasos. Finca Castilla is definitely worth a trip.

Coming to Agi and Guido is a bit like returning home.
. Even after 12 years, we felt very comfortable again. Unfortunately it was only 2 days.

Probably best place to stay in the area, gorgeous hostel with amazing owners.

Loved this lodging. Excellent hospitality, clean spacious cabins, cold mini-fridge, hammock, outdoor patio area and air-conditioning. Hiking trails on property, monkeys pass through the property several times a day. Humming birds galore. Host will arange excursions with local tour operators for you. Library on site. Wildlife identification books available to help identify what you see. Wi-Fi available but not strong and often problematic. Food was fantastic. If you love nature and good food, you can't go wrong here.

Very nice place and penetrate to Empfehleb. It offers many job opportunities and it has its peace. The Fincas are equipped with everything necessary and have comfortable beds. The food is varied and delicious. Less great is that it only has bad Internet, which is not weitdr tragic.

A beautiful place in middle of a natural spot next to the Sapoá river. Beautiful people as owners Don Guido and Doña Agi with a excellent spoon at the kitchen, simple delicious. Accommodations very nice with a nice price also. A place recommended to our adventurous Mountain Bikers included into our itinerary for sure.

Very lovely Swiss couple who accommodated us (4 adults, 1 child) at the last minute (evening) in a lovely cabana by the river. They, luckily for us, had a cancellation. They then proceeded to cook us all a meal even though it was late. We would have stayed more nights, as the cabins were lovely with gardens and monkeys to entertain us in the morning. Unfortunately they were booked out which I understand. Breakfast wasn't included but came at a very reasonable cost, as did the evening meal. Would certainly return to this lovely place.

Very dear people, beautiful cabanas, beautiful Finca.

Simple, comfortable camping/budget room/large private habitación for all "price classes". Beautiful "gardens" a. K. A Finca with sloths, monos (spider monkey/howler monkey), kolibris, armadillos, crocodiles, etc. — really cool and right at your doorstep. Yummy European-style dinner and breakfast.

Come to rest and relax!
The Finca in the North of Costa Rica is both the location and the rest of which is broadcast by the hosts themselves. AGI and Guido are two very friendly and attentive Swiss. Always present when when you needed them here but never intrusive. Outstanding are the cooking skills of AGI. Do not lack in flexibility. The fresh fish brought by us by the fishermen of Larissa, the grand daughter of the House, a dream was prepared. The atmosphere was so pleasant that it is not to describe with words. We wanted to stay for 3-4 nights. It have become seven. Which offered activities such as nature trails on the Finca, riding, Nicaragua are highly recommended boat tour and excursion. In 20-40 min to reach also beaches on the Pacific coast by car. Absolutely perfect for us as not duration Beach trailer.
The cabinas are spacious fitted with comfortable beds very nicely into the landscape. The construction is however (for Swiss conditions) of some simple type. That is made up but far from the total package.
