Excellent place and spectacular attention, 0 complaints.

We were by the end of the year the food is excellent there is no complaint whatsoever, but the facilities look abandoned. The pools the painting is like brittle. And they should better in the reception area the customer service, the gentleman who attends who is a little hair is very blunt to talk. For the cost of the fees they should provide more maintenance to the place.

I loved the place excellent was its attention super recommended.

It will always be a pleasant place. The forest next door, the river, its sounds, nature. Its swimming pools with hot springs and its sauna. It's a place to rest. He has a great time.

Excellent for family, the Thermal river is the maximum and the heated pools. The rooms are comfortable, you have. Jacuzzi and television, fans. They have shower and dryer. Typical Costa Rican breakfasts are delicious and enjoy the most. It is very close to Ciudad Quesada so you can easily go for a walk, have dinner or lunch and come back. The river is very clean so if you fear you can bathe and be quiet it is a safe place. The place also has a spacious parking lot. Food service in the pool.

If very good attention, its very friendly staff, its cozy facilities and clean rooms, the natural environment liberates the extres and fills you with energy, all our support to take care of this gift of God, Hotel the Tucano.

To visit it only a few hours without staying it has a good price, however the drinks and the food are very high priced. The water temperature varies a lot, to the point that the hot water feels cold. The best is the steam bath.

Lovely quiet place. Staff were pleasant and happy to help with our random requests. Bed is a little hard but otherwise wonderful. Definitely recommend coming to this area for a more authentic Costa Rican trip than the beach or American resorts.

This after a two and a half hour tour of San Jose (capital of Costa Rica) and in the midst of a fog bank this paradise, weekends very visited by the people of the city and quiet weekdays, spacious clean rooms, the pools with hot springs between 28 and 35 degrees, the food and the bar very well with normal prices for this type of hotels, if you like to rest and relax, this is the ideal place surrounded by a rain forest and a cool mist in the evening night, very friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. Gardens, forest and beautiful and very well maintained green areas. Hot springs available in different temperature. They change the waters regularly. They must improve only in the maintenance of the bathrooms of the rooms.

You can see the passing of the years, they have not given the maintenance they should, the food is normal, nothing of the other world, the breakfast included is little and the employees apparently have orders to carry a strict control of how much food they serve.
Getting in and out of the hotel in the vehicle can be tricky as there is only one inlet/outlet (if someone is entering you can not get out and Visceversa).
The pool is fine, the river that is close by is very nice and the employees were very attentive during our stay.

The springs, pools, jacuzzi and sauna the best. The food in the restaurant very acceptable. The point is lousy and fatal is the customer service.

Have water pools, natural hot springs, the river is very bye or for bathing and has a pool with hot water. The attention is not very good because they do not explain anything when you arrive we give you the keys and you're done.

We were there the 11th to the 13th of August 2016, with quite a fright because the references were not very good, even had photos which upheld the bad references. Finally we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted very well, coffee and delicious dinner, swimming pool terminal excellent, room and cleanliness excellent, state of the infrastructure excellent. Cleanliness and order everywhere. Very good care and very friendly staff. We felt like at home.

Very quiet place, excellent food and views of the place very beautiful. The rooms are a bit old and the decoration of the same neither of us liked it.

Cute place, the river of thermal water very good.

Although already makes them need to remodel some details in the rooms, rescued in general that is a good place.
Plus: good weather, vein volcanic that it produces real hot springs, good food and nice minigolf.

Please do not waste your money, nasty pool, sad place it look like a retiement home, not worth it!

As a hotel it is a 3 star hotel. But what really makes it wonderful are the hot springs. The pools on the property are nice but the river is the real winner. The hot springs feed the river and make it warm even after a hard rain. In the morning the steam from the river makes it a magical scene. A must see while in Costa Rica.

Hotel El Tucano, is beautiful, but is not located at this point, are way to Aguas Zarcas, in the Park of Ciudad Quesada, viewing this map of front, hand right, about 6-8 kms, to Aguas Zarcas.

The hotel loves my children, for the price it is best to book through Expedia instead of directly.
