The best hotel in La Fortuna! Large garden with path, pool and jacuzzis. Too nice rooms with terrace or balcony. Delicious food. Super friendly staff. Focus on sustainability. I love that place!

Currently staying at the Casa Luna hotel for our honeymoon. The property is beautiful, and you wake up to hearing wildlife every morning. Food has been good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool and little secluded hot tubs. Highly recommend.

I love the silence I possess, silence q makes q listen to the frogs sing, the crickets, nature or a complete connection.

The staff has changed and they are unfriendly. The spa is good. The lousy restaurant.

My wife and I stayed this weekend and they are the places that you want to return many times and I recommend all the treatment the staff the food the rooms very neat everything I do not give you a 100 I give you a 200% if you want to spend a relaxed weekend with a good treatment and excellent attention moon house I recommend it.

Beautiful lush hotel with friendly staff. The location is convenient to La Fortuna town and waterfall. You would need a car to do Arenal volcano activities. The hotel has a small feel but big enough to have a full service restaurant and bar. Some rooms have balconies with a nice view of Arenal. The pool complex have a big pool and 4 very nice semi private jacuzzis… our favorite part. The restaurant serves decent breakfast (included) but lunch and dinner can add up quickly so the total bill will likely be more than you’ve budgeted. The food is good however, but prices are high but comparable to the entire Arenal area, which is more expensive than the rest of Costa Rica. Overall a very nice quiet location with clean rooms and although far from Arenal, there’s a constant view of the volcano throughout the property.

A great value for money lodging option to explore La Fortuna. The room itself was a little basic, but clean and have a fantastic view of the Vulcan from a small terrace. The hotel has lush gardens all around which are well taken care of, pool area is also nice with several hot baths behind the main pool. Breakfast is a little simplistic but overall ok. Very friendly and helpful reception desk, they also gave the info on the available tours and did the bookings. The hotel is a little out of town (~2km) so its convenient to have a car, there is an ample free parking. Otherwise you would either locked in a hotel or need to take taxi all the time which could be a little pricey. Didn't use on-site restaraunt as was dining in town, but there were people all the time. All in all — there might be more fancy places around, but Casa Luna perfectly does the job.

This hotel offers a piece of Mother Nature in its on back yard. The spa pools are awesome I recommend this place. Breakfast is traditional and with good taste.

Beautiful place to stay! Facilities are everything you'd want in a resort (great pool, spa, restaurant, bar, room), the staff is wonderful, and the complementary breakfast is fantastic. The pictures really don't do it justice. It's a little tropical paradise — and you'll probably see just as much wildlife here than during your hike!

Great service/very nice staff/robbing cuisine, with prices for food being slightly high/picturesque views, directly on the volcano El Arenal/weak Wi-Fi in the rooms, no problem at the reception.

Very nice place, excellent attention of its staff, good food. We do not give the 5 stars because in the room there is practically no place to accommodate the clothes. Outside of that, all very well. Recommended.

Casa Luna is an amazing hotel! The people that work here are super friendly, organized, and professional. The only thing that sucked was the pool closed at 9 pm. Overall, I had an amazing time at Casa Luna!

Very nice place to stay! Clean, comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms. Beautiful grounds! There were different animals and birds all over! They put out fruit for the birds and I enjoyed watching them over breakfast. Delicious food. Great views of the mountains and close to town. Will definitely recommend.

Another outstanding stay in CR. Rooms are a little smaller, but nice place to stay. Pool, hot tubs and restaurant are all great. The bar as well. Super friendly staff and great stuff to do around the hotel as well.

Very beautiful place with a magic atmosphere. There is 2 pools and 4 spas where I spent a lot of time relaxing. Everything is like melted with the jungle because the nature is so dense! It was very clean and well maintained.

Nice clean room and well maintained grounds. The for jacuzzis on the property are nice to spend time in the evening. The breakfast was great, all in all we looked our stay here quite a bit!

The room/bathroom was nice and clean, the food was FANASTIC, the entire stall was professional and polite, and the atmosphere was better than what we imagined from a little resort in the Costa Rican rainforest. My one complaint was the hardness of the bed but that wouldn’t stop me from ever coming back here.

Wonderful comfortable clean hotel with interesting multiple hidden hot tubs. There is also a nice short little hike by the river right on the hotel. It's a $5 taxi/hotel shuttle ride to town. Best part is having a good breakfast or lunch by the dining area and watch the beautiful birds come by. I even saw a reclusive Jesus Christ lizard walking :) my wife stated that she had one of the best spa massage experience ever at Casa Luna.

Breakfast is delicious. The beds comfortable. No Wi-Fi in the room. Thanks to the radio hole, no mobile data. Very loud. You can hear the neighbors and the tumult outside. Smoking only at the other end of the rooms without roof overstand in a dark corner. Very price intense deals.

Absolutely beautiful place. The folks working there are great and want to call you by your first name. Jennifer and Brian in the restaurant and Melvin by the pool. These guys genuinely want you to have a great time and it shows. I would go back in a heartbeat. If you are anywhere near this place go, you won't regret it!

Very good hotel if you stay at La fortuna. Good accomadation, 4 different spa, nice staff and good location. The activities proposed are a little bit expensive except if you don' t have a car.

The Wifi is a little spotty. The nachos are nasty. Other than that, this is an incredible place to stay. The staff bends over backwards to help. The location is outstanding and the views are gorgeous.

4 jungle jacuzzis is definitely a highlight. I also enjoyed breakfast and the room. On a clear day you can enjoy view of volcano from the balcony. I am also very grateful to the staff that allowed us after hours check-in when our flight got delayed. They can help you organise various tours as well. However, taking away one star for very slow/non-existent Wi-Fi.

The front-desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable. The resort overall is well maintained and there is a decent, but small trail for you to walk around. The Wi-Fi is very poor, almost non-existent in the rooms, and even in the areas where they say it's available it's very slow. We've stayed at far remoter locations which are better connected. The music around the pool was terrible (i. E. The Macarena! ). It's not necessary — just turn it off and let us listen to the jungle! The drinks at the pool-side bar we're delicious and the staff very friendly here. The staff in the restaurant however generally looked tired and uninterested in offering service. It was slow. The Rio Celeste Tour, booked at reception, was excellent value and the guide was brilliant. I'd probably give Casa Luna a miss next time.

The hotel was great. We spent two nights there. The hotel grounds are surrounded by beautiful vegetation and a perfect view of the Volcano. The staff was excellent and the hotel is very quiet. At night you can hear all the wildlife. Walking around La Fortuna is also a must. This hotel is great for couples and kids. The birds will walk up to the kids at breakfast.

Very well maintained plant should be the same cook as in April 2016 still the "trowel swing" absolutely recommended, really top!

Me and my boyfriend did an ecoterra package and stayed at casa Luna. We can't get over how amazing casa Luna was. Our bartender Brian was awesome. Also the front desk girl yarine (not sure) of spelling was very very nice and helpful. Casa Luna is beautiful, clean, and thier staff go above and beyond. The wet bar was fun and there are several different jacuzzis you can go in. We had a balcony room and we could see the volcano and the pool from it. There is also a mini trail you can take to a little stream by the hotel. Spray bug spray. In all we Wish we couldve stayed longer!

Casa Luna Hotel & Spa was the highlight of our 11 day stay in Costa Rica. Our room had a glorious view of Arenal Volcano framed with lush tropical greenery. Casa Luna is home to Eco Terra Tours, Costa Rica, the company for getting close to nature. The choices were many. At almost 73 years of age, I still enjoyed zip-lining and many long hikes, knowing that there was a soak in one of the 4 hot tubs and a gourmet meal to restore me. Regarding the frog chorus … I regarded them as part of the holiday. If I have my wish … I'll be back again and again.

This hotel is amazing! It is like staying in the middle of a jungle. It is incredibly clean. The grounds are beautiful. The staff service was top notch. The food was great. No need to drive to town for a meal just as expensive but not as good. I will come back here for sure.

Superb location for a short stay while touring Arenal area. No hot springs but a pool, reasonable on site restaurant, lots of iguanas, lizards and toads in the gardens, and friendly helpful service.

Beautiful grounds, great service. Only negative is the room was a tiny bit musty, but I do mean tiny; I would definitely stay here again.
