Excellent budget hotel in central Alajuela. Staff went overboard to accommodate me when the airport closed for a few days. Realize this is not a Marriott or anything close, but a good budget choice especially if you need to be close to the airport for an early flight. Taxi should only be about $7-8. No a/C, but it sounds like they are fixing that before peak season. Fans in the rooms work well.
