Excellent place to disconnect from the city, food is very rich. The only thing that I thought was in bad taste, is that they charge a 19% tax only by booking on the internet. They should accept reservations by other means or add it when making the booking and not at the time of paying the bill.

I love Rio elemento. The grounds are beautiful. They have a huge pool with a rope swing and bar. Nice deck around the pool and also at the restaurant area. Along the Minca river they have a huge hammock and swing. The staff is friendly and set up a Motor taxi tour for me around the mountain and to the famous waterfalls. I actually spent an extra night here just to chill. They also offer on the porch sleep in a hammock accommodation at a discount. Double check your reservation if you pick their lowest cost option and want one of their comfy beds. — Happy Travels.

Excellent pool. The hostel is spacious and the staff divine.

The private room was on dot. Hammock on the river is a great place to hang early morning or at sunset. The bar vibes are chill and very comfy. Not that far from the main entrance of Minca. I’ll def recommend.

Great place to come and chill. Would be amazing for yoga retreats. The personnel is great and ready to help with everything. Everyone who comes here thinks about staying while longer.

It's a chevere place. Very atmosphere, relaxed. I went raisin. It's worth $10.000 COP per person and you have the right to a drink. Apart when you arrive you must consume at least two drinks per person (which they do not tell you when you ask about the facebook) can enter food or snack, it is forbidden to enter minors (the pool is deep, I suppose that is why) … they treat you well in general but you see the inclination to people who stay at night than to those of a day. (Or well so we feel it. I hope it's not always like that. )

Pros: The place is nice with many backpackers all the time. I liked the river access, the pool and the bar. Staff at the bar has been very friendly and helpful. Cons: prices for anything are higher then average (i. E. 20k for an hammock, 18k for a lunch). The toilets' floor is usually dirty with mud and there is no real shower, but just a pipe on the roof (leaking). No hot water. The staff at the reception is less friendly than the typical Colombian level, and they even charged me a cocktail at 20k (I asked twice if it was really that expensive), just to realize the day after that its normal price is 12k.

Excellent hostel. Good environments that offer the tourist and various plans to do during the stay. Swimming pool and excellent atmosphere. It fills a lot for how popular it is. Kitchen prepared by French natives.

It is a pretty nice place with very comfortable prices, where you can enjoy rich breakfasts, good care and good freedom, you can enjoy its different activities such as billiards, pool, ping pong, among others, with a good connection to Internet.
