Kolibri Hostel Hostel

Clean. Not many people around and we only stayed briefly. Serviceable and nice enough. Nothing really stood out but I'd stay again if passing through.

Great, chilled place to hang out for a few days. I'd lost my bank card the week before arriving here and they were happy to let me send it to the hostel. All went smoothly. Very trustworthy. Great hot showers and comfortable beds.

Very well organized, economical and very good atmosphere, we lent the bike parking service.

Exellent hostel. Yoga on the terrace was perfect after trekking to La Pastora and back.

Very good place. The restaurant downstairs offers great food and the cook is the best person ever. I like my room and that is clean all the time. Thank you for a great time!

Good place to Hospedarce has a good bar to eat or to have something with someone has a terrace type very nice viewpoint, those who cater to you are very friendly, has shared bathrooms and also has rooms with private bathroom, is the reate do if you pass U N Weekend by Pereira.

Love this hostel so much I came back again. Very spacious, even the 11 bed dorm. Outlets and reading lights at each bed are certainly handy. The entire hostel is very clean and the staff helpful. There's even a restaurant/bar on sight for breakfast and dinner.

The hostel to stay in Pereira. Nice setting. Close to the Circunvalar (area where to go out at night) and the Arboleda shopping centre.

If u wanna live in a hotel with hostel price. This will be ur perfect choice. The owner and staff are so friendly! Location is exellent also.

The staff were Very Friendly and comfortable. Breakfasts start from $4.000 and are not included in the stay.
The Bathrooms are shared, there are private and shared rooms. The 11-bed room is quite spacious with a single bed and staterooms. Each bed has access to light and energy.
It Is Pet friendly and they also rent bicycles.

This is the nicest, cleanest and friendliest Hostel in Pereira. The Wi-Fi works great, the people working there are amazing and the beds are comfy. Each bed has its own lamp and outlet and you can also get really good and healthy breakfast every morning. Kolibri is also located in a really good and centric part of town not too far from the center. Thank you Frank and crew for being so great.

It's better to avoid this hostel in Pereira. This hostel that has been there for a long time, it's big and confortable but it appears to have serious problems with internal security. During my stay there the laptop of a person has been stolen and I heard other similar stories. Also the staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. Maybe my worst hostel experience in my one year of travelling in Latin America.

Not only is it the best hostel in the City of Pereira is the most beautiful and fun. The Staff is super friendly and attentive to the details, the toilet is spotless and decorated with bicycles, pictures of nature and typical balconies make it much more attractive and pleasant. Activities some nights to integrate to its guests, common areas such as the terrace, the training room and the patio are spectacular places to relax, read a book or meet other travelers. 100% Recommended.

I stayed in Kolibri hostel both in 2014 and again now in 2016. And wow… how the place has changed! Beautiful bathroom, everything nice and clean, friendly staff, excellent location, great tour options. Definately recommend it.

Cozy place, easy to access. An open balcony allows guests to stay fresh and chill out.

Great private room size, and helpful staff. Breakfast was made for you, which was great. Downside was apparently hot water is solar powered, I'm all for green initiatives however with the number of people it needs to have other options. After speaking with the staff they "fixed" it which only resulted in slightly more warm water even after giving it 20min.

This is a fantastic hostel. The location is ideal, as it's near the bus station, shopping, El Centro, La Zona Rosa, everything, and the view from the terrace is spectacular. Dan and Juliana (and all the staff) are always so pleasant and welcoming. You really can't ask for better hosts. My brother and I were looking to stop for a night or two, on our way to Bogota, but couldn't get ourselves to move on from this hostel. Great experience. Can't go wrong staying here. UPDATE: I've now returned to this hostel 1.5 years later and it's even better than before. The owners are constantly making improvements, the view is still spectacular, the area is even safer than before, and the prices are still great (despite a heavier flow of business). You still can't go wrong with this hostel. It's one of the best Colombia and it even has hot water.

The kolibri is very well located, near the Mall Park Grove, the pink area of the city. A place very recommendable for your stay, with beautiful facilities and people very friendly.

This will be a great location when it opens, near bars in safe area of town, but it is NOT OPEN YET.
