I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Hostel in Bogotá and it has been the worst experience. At first the conditions of what I had been offered and the position for which I was going were not fulfilled.
To get to the hostel, the VOLUNTARY Tatiana didn't know that I came as a volunteer and began to ask me questions harassing requesting a resume and references, when this is requested before arriving at the hostel, his treatment towards me was always cruel and rude with an attitude child of superiority, not only to me, also other volunteers has been the same thing, making the experience really uncomfortable.
The conditions in which the volunteers sleep are really disgusting, they have to do housework without any protection in the rain and without payments, tips are not left for the volunteers either.
The kitchen of the restaurant is really disgusting, with no implements needed to facilitate the work of the cook, a lot of mess in this place.
The chef yelled at me twice for an errand in which I was wrong and in which they were unable to give precise and clear explanations. The owner's response was, remember, he's a chef. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
The volunteers with more time have. Very bad presentation their appearance seems dirty and forgotten and in those faces they work in the restaurant.

The Hostel is very nice, its decoration is super colorful and in general the staff is friendly but the receptionist of the night shift is little cautious to allow the entry of NO guests to the common area that overlooks the rooms, these were drinking and with the speaker until 3 in the morning, and only when I went out to ask for silence these people left the establishment and during all that time the receptionist did not he intervened not once. It could be a perfect place to rest, but such poorly handled situations do not allow it, not to mention the potential danger to guests' personal belongings.

The food is super rich.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
And the rooms very quiet, spectacular to get out of the routine.
I am supremely grateful and happy to have been there.

The place has a warm atmosphere and the food is very rich is a very clean the beds are very comfortable and the roast mailen and Irina super.

The rooms were very cozy and the shower was always hot! We really enjoyed the great activities the hostel offered, for example Karaoke night in the really nice Bar with great Cocktails and good prices! The staff was always nice and helpful, we will definitely come back ❤️

The spanish teacher of the hostel called Juan G. Is an awesome person who offers a really nice classes focuced on speaking with a comfortable price.

I am Colombian and live in Bogota a few months ago, I have been visiting different hostels and without a doubt, this hostel is the best in the capital city. Clean, spacious rooms, very friendly staff and always willing to help. The bar offers BBC beer (of the best in the country) at an excellent price!

It was my first time in bogota and I’m quite hesitant to stay in the historic area. But that changed because of SC hostel. I felt so safe, the staffs are so nice and very helpful, the place itself is very cozy. I met Juan Pablo which is the owner. He is very nice to talked to. He’s very dedicated to deliver a great service to his clients. I told myself that I will return to Bogota and will definitely stay again at this hostel. Oh! Did I mentioned that they have cool arts all over the place?

Great hostel with good balance of party and quiet. Comfy beds AMAZING hot shower, fast internet, perfect candelaria location and a cool bar. Really nothing to complain about, and I'm quite difficult.

It is a very cozy place to stay. The friendly staff offer many cultural activities. Adventure for your guests's rates are cheap, there is good service.

Definitely a cool hostel with a fun vibe. Decent breakfast. A little loud and the doors have stained glass windows which let light into the room. It would be nice if they offered drinking water. Great location.

It is an excellent place located in the downtown area of the city! It is very close to many cultural places of interest for tourists! The administration is always attentive to help and provide the best service!

We reserved 2 nights using the hostel web site.
After the first night I woke up full of stings. We even saw the fleas walking on the bed!
I showed the manager (Diana) the stings, which were all over the body — Hands, legs, neck and even on my face! We asked not to pay the night because we suffered and we need to look for new place. The manager didn;t want to take responsibility and insisted that they had cleaned the room before and insisted that we will pay full amount. She made us feel like we were arranging everything on purpose and that we are guilty of fraud. Even when we told them that we had to buy creams to treat the stings they did not change their attitide. Before we left we saw them spraying against bugs. The overwhole condition of the place is poor including bad accoustics and no hot water as promised.

I went to the restaurant, not the hostel. The place is cozy, although it is small do not feel uncomfortable by the space, I liked the attention, although we were late we were treated in an impeccable way. The food was very good, although the pasta I ordered (I think it was almond) was a bit dry, but still rich. We went 5people and the bill came out consistent with the quantity and taste. We will definitely return.

Hosts are very kind, helpful and funny guys. The place is near to interesting things. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hostel in a cool neighbourhood. Very nice hang-out areas and clean but small rooms. Nice breakfast buffé wich in the evening becomes a restaurant with great pizza.

Nobody is cleaning their dishes. The matresses are worn out, so be prepared to get some backpain. It is incredibly noisy in the hostel. Even with earplugs. There is supposed to be a curfew at 11 PM but nobody cares. When talking to the Management they only smile at you.

Good place, comfortable areas, has computers, dance classes, karaoke Saturdays in the bar, hammocks in the courtyard to rest.

We had an inconvenience with the food from the place and the response from the administration was to call the police. Lousy customer service, lousy food. Therefore I do not recommend this place, better Hostel to stay in the area, with variety and better customer experience.

Nice atmosphere and great service!

Nice hostel, breakfast only consists of jam and bread and fruit, unless you wake up before 9 then you get bacon and eggs. Loud music always playing till about 1. Lots of stuff to do, good to meet people.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was very good. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. I recommend it.

I was at the Fatima restaurant. Perfect for a nice time in couple or with friends.

It's a decent hostel, but Wi-Fi is only in common areas which is a little irritating. There are fruits for breakfast.

The food is good, there is a great variety of dishes and it is not very expensive. The service is very good and the atmosphere pleasant. It's a good place, highly recommended.

This place is wonderful from all points of view: Excellent service, spaces beautiful and well thought out, they have a menu of meals that are delicious and meet travelers from all over the world. I recommend doing the Bike Graffiti tour through the city with Michael, an excellent guide. I will return to Fatima each that is in Bogota.

Amazing party hostel that is the absolute best place to stay in Bogota for any solo traveler. The bar/restaurant next door has plenty of activities to make your evening fun filled. The staff is knowledge and very helpful. I would stay her a million times over.

Excellence above all. Extremely comfortable and secure. Fun. Great clientele. Super clean rooms. Very good bathrooms and hot water showers. Flexibility is available if needed. Helpful with tours, information and with obtaining taxi or Uber in a timely fashion. I believe laundry service is available. Excells in every way. Attatched risto-bar with great food and stiff drinks. Very large beer selection. Massive fruit and toast breakfast with all you can drink micro roaster coffee for all and is included with room. Lovely private rooms available as well as numerous dorms. Fun, exciting and quiet at night. Try it, you will love it. 24/7 reception is very handy. No bugs! Great spot.

Pretty rough around the edges party hostel. Not a particularly comfortable place to hang out either. We booked a 6 bed dorm but arrived late and ended up being given a 15 bed dorm for two nights with incredibly noisy residents. The staff kindly moved us into a 6 bed dorm for our final night but we decided after that to move to a much calmer hostel over the road instead.

Good service, and people very relaible, for price is very good choise. Near Historic Center the City, Excellent service, staff always willing to serve you kindly, very good and their prices affordable, close to the Historic Centre of the city and other important attractions. Recommended.

Very good customer service, the bar closed early, but no matter there are more bars near, you know a lot of people, a good place.

Not good. The mattresses are plastic and the bottom sheet falls off from all four sides the second you move so you are sleeping on sweaty plastic. Want to adjust it? The bed creaks loudly so everyone hears you move. My roommate asked me about this noise the next morning. Only one of the two computers get internet and even the wireless would only allow me to get to a site 50 percent of the time from my iPad. These are sites like the ny times. So yea it's the wireless. So not easy to plan your vacation. Floor is wooden boards so you can hear every word and other noise from those in "private" room below. And rooms surround the main hangout so you hear that too. Right now I'm in my room listening to a guy explain how guns will soon be controlled by our minds. He's on the phone in the main hangout. It's like npr! No lockers to fit your bag and only 2 outlets in wide open 6 person room. No lock on door to room so not secure. Nothing of mine taken but not a great place to leave things. Shower was cold and place in general cold. Went to a different hostel the night before in the same area for the same price and had none of these problems. They do make nice eggs though. Stop by for the eggs.
