Best bang for your buck in Bogotá! Maria is an amazing hostess who is not only the owner but was our guide to the Salt Cathedral for a day. Big thumbs up for Santiago and Jaqueline as well. Can't wait to stay here again next time we are in town!

A very good place to stay in Bogota at a low cost, its guests are mostly foreigners that you can have the experience of knowing other cultures. It is very clean. Located in a very good sector.

My experience was a good one, but not enough to warrant 5 stars. Pros: 1. Location. Its in a good neighborhood. There is a carulla/coffee shops/restaurants/carrera 7 within walking distance. 2. Tv room! Satellite TV where time can be killed. Also have 2 computers to use. 3. Full Kitchen with applicances and cupboards. 2 sinks to wash in. 4. Front desk service was exceptional. Kept a tight ship, was fast and reliable with information. Cons: (again, my experience) 1. Though he's a sweet older man who has good intentions, this is a hostel and I am on vacaction. I paid to be there. So to be told to quiet down at 10:45pm (wasnt loud) & that I cannot take a beer upstairs into the TV room wasnt cool. 2. This is too hip of a hostel, with communal space, to not provide an opportunity for everyone to come together to meet one another. Offer a free beer at a certain time, or allow the bikes to be free to use for ciclovia on sundays. 3. The organized tours were too expensive. I did zipaquira on my own for 85k cop. No need to have it be 180, 000. 4. Same with the "party bus" to Andres Carne de res. I stayed until sunday specifically to do this on Saturday night. Only to find out it was an organized private taxi with only the guys from my hostel. 2 of the guys ended just taking an uber home anyway, so there was no point to this "party bus". 5. The couches in the communal space are extremely worn, uncomfortable to sit in, and bulky.

Very good place, it is super well decorated and in an amazing area. The bad thing is check out time, it's 10 am and I think it's very early.

Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Wi-fi slow to non existent at times.

A great place to get to Bogota… Friendly people and Nice service. Located in one of the best and safest areas of the city, close to the best restaurants, bars and shops in Bogota.
It's worth staying here.

Amazing place, the owner is a very good host, you can meet a lot of people, lot of things are organised by the hostel which is fun and exciting.

Fun and cozy hostel. Friendly staff and a super safe neighborhood. Took a "party bus" to San Andres restaurant, but it's not really a party bus, just a van. Probably more economical to take an Uber.

The hostel was just great. The rooms were cozy, the beds comfortable, the staff super sweet and the best thing was the neighbourhood. So many restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Perfect!

The place is quite expensive. Around 40.000 COP for dorms. They're selling water labeled 1500 for 5000 and you have to pay 5000 to rent a towel. You pay a lot for the safety of the neighborhood. The Wi-Fi here is not good. The dorms are quite nice though and the bed is good too.

Best hostel I've stayed at in the world, not even kidding. Everything is so nice, the location is great, and the owner is extremely helpful.
It's basically a 3-4 star hotel for 12 USD a night. A must stay while traveling through South America! I can't wait to go back.

Stayed at this hostel for over a week now and it's great. It's by no means a party hostel but if you want some down time and to chill this is the place to stay. The beds are super comfy, you get a curtain for your bed and the showers are the best in South America! Big shout to Julio who is the most helpful receptionist I have come across. He is very knowledgable of Bogota and knows what is happening around the city. Top guy! Give him a raise.

We booked a tour with the hostel 12:12 on March, 12th. They were supposed to pick us at 8am. It was 9am when we called them to cancel the tour due to the delay once we had to come come back no longer 2pm to Bogotá because we had a flight at 4pm. They refused to cancel and give our money back, USD 100 that they asked us to pay in advance. When we called first the guide said the driver was on his way and he would arrive in 10 minutes but he didn't. When the driver finally arrive he said to us he received the call 15 minutes earlier. So, the guide lied repeatedly to us. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone. They are not serious.

If your in for a quite place to stay, def come here! Chapinero is a nice area aswell.

Super nice hostel on walking in, yet not really located in a convenient area of the city. The staff was very friendly except the overnight security guard was very unhelpful when it came to buying food/water or renting towels etc…

I stayed at this hostel a couple of days and it is AMAZING! No doubt the best hostel I've stayed at my whole trip around Colombia. It is clean, quite (but every saturday you can go party at Andres Carne de Res with the rest of the hostel) and has wonderful beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you need it and a TV-room as well as a closed terrace. In general the design is pretty cool with a bunch of different dorms in various colors. The staff is extremely helpful and they will help you out with whatever you need! The hostel itself is located in a safe area with a lot of places to go for delicious breakfast as well as cool restaurants to go to at night. I can without a doubt recommend anyone to stay at this hostel. Thank you 12:12!

Great ambient and service! absolutely recommended to meet other people, ask for tours recommendations and have a nice experience! The location in the G-zone in bogota is perfect to enjoy the most delicious food places.

This place is really amazing, everything was created to guarantee a magical stay. Maria — the hostel owner — put his love in all aspects of the place, the rooms, bedrooms and social zones are beautiful and comfortable. All the hostel team are nice, polite and helpful. Maria and his team are really amazing, they know all the beautiful places in the city, his recommendations about restaurants, historical places, and party zones are always oriented to allow you visit the top places in Bogota. The hostel is always full offering you the perfect opportunity to meet new people from several countries and practice your English. I've stayed here a couple of times and I am sure that I will come back soon.
