A little of my experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Barranquilla on April 07, 2021: 1. Initially I got assigned a room that was already taken by someone else or there was someone in the room when I went to my room. The door was locked from inside. They helped me at the front desk to get another room.
2. The second room that I got assigned was recently sprayed with insecticides earlier that day, apparently, it was a room that was supposed to be closed to the public, but somehow got assigned to me, the smell was very penetrating and definitely was not a safe environment to stay. They helped me again at the front desk to get another room.
3. The staff at the front desk apologized and assigned a third room to me, this time I left my belongings in the room, turned on the AC, and left to explore the city, upon my arrival in the evening, there was water leaking from the AC unit, the problem seems to be old because there is already changes in the paint of the walls by water damage. The noise of the water leak was unbearable, so I requested another room. Apparently, the maintenance of the building is very poor or my impression is that the quality of room inspections prior to the assignment is insufficient. But I must emphasize that staff is very polite and extremely friendly. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this hotel. But I will keep you updated… Garden Inn

I called the reception and asked to talk with the manager on duty and there is not any. I do not recommended the hotel if you are looking for. A quiet and nice place to stay.

Weirdest Hilton, pool hours 10am to 8pm. Cannot get to friends room on other floor due to security, you can get to your floor only. Everything was weird experience. Breakfast was good. Pictures of sunset from the pool came out to be good!

They are a brand new hotel, very well located. It can be awkward to find parking spaces nearby but there are tons of places to go from here shopping malls eateries and the such. Centro Comercial Buenavista, Home Center, Plaza del Parque, Makro, TUGO, etc.

This hotel is another typical scams are us in colombia. THEY OFFER ONE OF THE LOWEST PRICES For a four-star hotel just to sucker you win in the end they hit you with these ridiculous made up charges and fees and taxes that you have no idea what you are being charge for and by the time you check out your bill is like $1000 the service sucks you order food takes forever to come upstairs tHey forget To bring you up what you ordered exactly do you want doing really anything for you here unless you tip them this place is definitely not worth the stay is a horrible hotel do not go here… And the best part is God for bid one of your buddies comes over for five minutes to talk to you they will charge you 100, 000 pesos plus tax on that which comes out to 120, 000 pesos for a five minute visit but this is howakl thess scamming hotels make their money.

Excellent hotel the best I have tried in Barranquilla. Food is amazing, rooms are modern new and large super clean truly amazing. Staff is exceptional I’m super pleased five stars I’m sure this is one of the newest hotels here and there is a really nice grocery store that serves everything it just opened 6 days ago. You can walk to the mall or take a 5 Peso tax ride $1.60 US safe to walk at night nice Restaurants within walking distance one of the nicest areas in all of Barranquilla. We spent a month staying for health reasons, without knowing anyone in the city; my husband and myself. We stayed there instead of renting a department not do without the comfort and care of the hotel, in addition to containment, conflict resolution, professionalism, and warmth at the same time of the entire team. Seems q was a mutual feeling comfortable, because we had a warm farewell with an invitation to visit them in time of carnival, and with an unexpected gift of a coffee and the typical coffee “Juan Valdez”. Thank you for everything! We will never forget!

The location is a bit off. But the gym is great. The pool has a 5 star rooftop placement. AC does not have dehumidifier. Excellent Wi-Fi. Nice breakfast.

For those complaining about the taxi driver, this happen in any country and any city you go to. If you want to be safe and travel whatever you want rent a car from the airport, its cheaper and you can go wherever and whenever you want besides the hotel offers free parking and if u dont have a license get an Uber which is more monitor. Now let's talk about the hotel which is what we are reviewing here not the taxis. The hotel was amazing, super clean, stuff was friendly, I did have the chance to use the pool was I saw it, it looks clean. The whole hotel looks moder and it's huge, the location is in one of the most outstanding neighborhood of the city. The restaurant looked nice but I didn't get to use it either. The rooms were quiet, no noise from the wholeway. The security was awesome, you could only acces your floor with your key. Parking underground, they allow service animals and the rooms floor do not have carpet which is awesome because they clean it every day and you dont have to be stepping on anyones nastiness that carpet collects, rooms have its own thermostat so you can adjust your room temperature. Rooms are beautiful same as bathrooms, not to forget they are huge. I felt in love with this hotel and I'll be back to it.

Scavengers. Two days ago my husband and I try to make a reservation for the 3 of January by using the internet site of these frauds. The transaction date January 3 that it had been done with point had seemed successful until we saw the notification of the reservation date December 16, 2015 (the same day that we were making the reservation! ) then call immediately to the central Hilton to fix this as it was clearly a mistake. The call was three: my person, the central Hilton and Hilton in Barranquilla. The central Hilton I try to mediate for us because it was clear that it was an error and the only thing they had to do was rectify and make the reservation with the correct date. The response of Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Barranquilla: "we are very sorry we know that was a mistake, and we know that our policy may sound inconsistent but if it is done cancellation or modification of the reservation we will charge almost 500, 000 colombian pesos because they had to do the cancellation with 24 hours notice" That? A transaction that is made with points should be cashed with money? And on top of that knowing that they hadn't spent even thirty minutes of blessed transaction they insisted on policies without sense? And knowing by the same central Hilton that was a mistake?

In General it is an excellent Hotel One of the most luxurious and exclusive in the city of barranquilla, for its excellent location and for all your comfort and finishing, at a fair price. An Unforgettable experience.
