Casa Galeria Guatape Hostel

Very kind people. Beautiful view, clean beds and simple but nice breakfast.

The view is incredible, the staff are friendly, the showers are hot. The only negative is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable and my ladder up my bunk was loose so when I stepped up it spun and I fell.

Magical and unique place! I'd be back a thousand times! definitely the best memories we had of Colombia!

One of the best hostels I went to, the first is the shocking view that has towards the lake where you see the stone and is a beautiful landscape, the rest is spotless, super clean the bathrooms and rooms, the staff is excellent, Carlos is very friendly and good vibes, is to stay at least two days. Spectacular!

It is a place to visit in a campaign plan, for families is not comfortable. It only has a bathroom for all the guests and it has but cabins that are uncomfortable.

Good Price, Very friendly staff, and good breakfast. I rent a Kayak, leave from the hostel for an amazing 2 hours kayaking on the lake, just like I'm in some beautiful dreams if I didn't get sunburn, haha… And a cute cat! I love this place!

A very quiet place with a spectacular view to the Guatapé Dam.
Within the activities that you offer you can kayak, ride a bike, visit the Stone of the Peñol (which is only a few meters) or go to the village of Guatapé. There are many choices of restaurants around and a nearby store.

Excellent place, very quiet, ideal to go with friends or couple. The hostel is very clean, nice and organized. Comfy beds. It has a small pier to enjoy the lake and you can kayak. Super recommended breakfast, cost 5.000 and is very rich (fruit, eggs, coffee, toasted bread or arepa). From the hostel you can walk to the entrance of the stone and to go to the village of Guatape board a bus, TUC TUC or Jeep (2.000).
The bus that goes to the stone passes super near, like 1 block, it costs 12.500 from the northern terminal of Medellín (price of April 2017).

It is beautiful, I would like to be there for sunrise and watch the sun come out of the mountains, the lake is nearby, the place is beautiful, beautiful view, cozy, one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I.

This place has the most beautiful view in all of Guatape, hands down. Moreover, German and Maca are so nice, they will go out of their way to make you feel at home. This place is a piece of paradise on earth. The hostel it self is great with amazing, super friendly staff. You can swim or kayaking in the lake while enjoying the view. Just go for it…

Galeria Guatape is an amazing place to stay. The location is perfect and the view from the hostel is something unique. The Staff is great, Macarena help me with everything I need and always there shearing time with other guest. The ambient is very chill, and it makes this place a peaceful place to stay! This hostel is more of a home! It's small and really friendly, with a tranquil and relaxed feeling. It has an amazing view of La Piedra and the lake — and you can hire the kayak to explore the lake yourself. It is a short bus ride to Guatapé, but you could just stay at the hostel for days without leaving! Recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to visit this really lovely part of Colombia.
