Very quiet place to stay when you are in Xian. It is gated so you feel a lot safer especially at night.

Situated in a nice garden environment and located quite near to the Muslim quarters. Good value.

Much more with welcome worming at the hotel staff, the hotel places in downtown easy to go to Zhonglo zhan!, can walk around 15 min. To get there.

Location not bad Close to Metro station, and airport shuttle bus stop (10-15 min walk) Good service Big hotel Staff can speak English.

We actually ate at the Sofitel which is right next door. Dinner is international buffet. Food was good quality. Would eat there again except for concierge service that did not meet my expectations in arranging taxis.

Nice comfy hotel… should upgrade to have USB ports near bedside and to have the power sockets nearest to beds for charging.

The service is the worst, rooms are small and breakfast limited.

Was staying in Mercure on Renmin Square (not grand). Great location, great facilities (gym, pool, breakfast). However, bathroom was bot so good and clothing storage limited. Did have great nights sleep as my room was located om courtyard, so relatively quiet. Single glass though, so you do hear sounds from parking cars, people talking etc. But great dark curtains.

Although difficult to find the first time, the hotel is located with a small cluster of other hotels. Good service.

Room was small, aircon hardly worked and had to keep the window open. The fridge wouldn't get cold but once reported they did change it over for a working one. Location is good and you can use the pool, bar, gym etc at the Sofitel. The Italian restaurant was nice but very expensive. They wanted $1030 yuan for a steak and $500 yuan a bottle of wine. And our room backed on directly behind a school sports oval. From 7am until about 6pm all we could hear was the sports day and music on the loud speaker.

Beautiful buildings, excellent service and lovely food.

Not a brand new hotel, but still in good shape. Very large rooms. In the walled town, close to the center. The hotel is in a huge complex that includes other Accor hotels (Mercure, Sofitel). They all share come services, which is a plus.

This hotel is a bit older and hidden within neighboring hotels. PROS: Quiet, good front service, lobby exceeds many 5-star hotels, good location, cold AC, clean room. CONS: Small room, small bathrooms that could be updated (moldy caulking), crummy view from the window. The rooms are a bit smaller, but they were comfortable. We stayed in a room on the second floor near the elevators and lobby area, but heard no noise. The front desk service was great, and I would recommend this place because of the price.

A classic 4 stars hotel, with spacious and clean rooms. Good (but not great) continental breakfast. Friendly and polite staff.
