Very nice! Budget-friendly!

Good location and friendly staff.

Small and crammed. I’ve never ever seen a room so small. Even if it was just for one it’d be shameful, and we were two. Very disappointing breakfast. At least the personnel is lovely.

The location of this hotel is awesome and the receptionists are friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay at this place when I visit HK next time!

Room is no frill and no extra thing like toiletries… But the location is awesome with alot of eateries of all kind, and shopping. Will return again.

Staff were fabulous. Some rooms were super small, others were fine. Good location in that it is close to the metro and some markets. Construction in front of the hotel means some of their rooms with a harbor view no longer have a harbor view and some rooms have a horrible view and are so small that you have no where to open your suitcase. A nice touch was when you turned on the TV there was a digital greeting with your name which I have never seen before, although I would trade that for a luggage rack. Also, the knobs on the cupboards were awful. You had to push them to get the knob to open the door. Would I stay here again? Sure. If the price was right. Also, there is a funny smell in the hotel but I am quite sure it is the kind of air freshener they use in the lobby area (which is actually on the 2nd floor). Elevator is not the greatest in terms of speed but I have seen worse. They have also installed pass card protection on the elevator in that it will only take you to your floor and they have a security guard on duty at the front door area all night which is nice.

Great value for the price we paid! The location is perfect for tourists, with the bus, tram, MTR, and even ferry right outside. The breakfast is basic but there are numerous eateries in the area so you'll never go hungry. The view from the room would be great if it wasn't partially disrupted by new buildings being erected next to the water. Pretty quiet at night (maybe the odd noisy guest in the morning though! ). Keep in mind that the rooms are very small!

The Restaurant — Foods are acceptable at this price range, at least it offered a comfortable seating. The dinner was in the Mother's day. Not too crowded but the guests were mainly mainlander like. The self serviced salad bar and dessert bar didn't give give surprise.

Location is extremely convenient and the price is very reasonable. The room is small but clean and tidy. I wished the ocean view is here the next time I visit.

Stayed in the hotel on the way from Thailand for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is even more convenient to get by bus A11. Near the hotel is the final terminal. Near a lot of shops, cafes, 7/11 you can always find something to eat. Stayed on the 22nd floor, opposite the building, but honestly not strained. The room is small but clean. There is a friedge, a kettle, a safe. After the eviction, quietly left things in the luggage room, free of charge. The hotel is in a very good condition. And the extremely unprofitable exchange rate, even at the airport the rate is better, let alone exchange offices and banks.

Then your hotel simply went to a group of guests in the trash can not fill and don't clear wait for the next group of guests to be filled and cleaned up!?
And when I checked in, I saw two European and American travellers buying the mineral water that was sold next to the counter and heard the counter in the two European and American travellers said, "You can not pay for the mineral water in the room we have 2 bottles for you to use wtf! every day? "

Or do they live in a more expensive room with water?
Is there a cheap room? This hotel has a "non-giveaway" on the laundry, which shows how great the hotel is.

Near the Metro indeed. The staff speaks poorly English. Difficult Communication to get information. Concept Ibis C is to say minimalist…

My complaint is the lack for safety precaution with hazard sharp metal protruding from the wall. As you can see in the attached photo there are not much walking space already it can been extremely dangerous and I pay the price as my toes was cut top and bottom and bleed vigorously. Furthermore the handling for the situation was absence I talk to front office manager Alex Wong he heard what I had to say and said he will handle it, walk away and disappear. I ask where he when and no one can tell me. I left feeling ignore and disturb with the lack for customer well-being. I kindly ask for acknowledgment and accountability for the situation. My complaint has been largely ignored and haven't gotten responds from website or hotel.

Hotel was at a good location to market, reasonable walking distance to MTR and opposite to North Point bus terminus. Room I stayed was a double bedded but very small for 3 people including a kid. If you have more luggage with 2 check in baggage could make it difficult to keep in the room. Can't even walk around. Suggest to get a bigger room in these circumstances. For the price paid, just to sleep in during a short stay is worth it. Clean enough and room services everyday was an advantage.

Great place. All you need and the price is right. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is not that great but doable if you must eat a free breakfast. Rooms are smaller but everything is smaller in Hong Kong. Hotel is next to metro stop and the free shuttle (bus) to the airport express train stops right in front of hotel (H4 is the number/route of the the shuttle). Several restaurants around the block.

The window has the view, the equipment 斉 all. Near the MTR station, free shuttle bus to Hong Kong station. But the room was too close to sound, and after hearing the sound of the outside speech!

Cozy/clean hotel and the staff were very helpful with any and all queries. Payment for the room was a breeze and the cleaning service was very unobtrusive and efficient. However, the harbor/city view was obstructed with a construction out front. It should have been mentioned whilst booking or at least during the check-in. City View Room for Ibis would be a thing of the past pretty soon.

Compared to other hotels in Hong Kong, this one is very good. By Hong Kong standards, the rooms are spacious, clean and large. Reception went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The restaurant is decently priced (for Hong Kong) and the food was good with a decent variety. Out of the 3 hotels I stayed in while at Hong Kong, this one was the best.

Service is good, the room is not big but with the description on the site to match. Disdain those do not look at the hotel room description information live too small and give poor evaluation, not a conscience at all. Holiday Show house prices are higher, but the whole of Hong Kong is the same.

Strategic location with affordable price. Room abit small… good for traveller who just wanna sleep and enjoy Hong kong city.

The bad: If you are claustrophobic this hotel is not for you. Very small room and I mean tiny, and even smaller bathroom. Bare bones furniture. The good: I got the room with a view of water, nice but there is a new building going up right in front of hotel, I imagine the view will not be there long. Price is reasonable by HK standards. One street away from metro and lots of local food. The staff are nice and helpful.

We stayed here for 5 days and chose to stay at this hotel due to its convenient location. The North Point Bus terminus is at a walkable distance and the North Point MTR is next to the hotel. There are many convenience stores nearby. Staff were friendly and assisted us with money exchange and other local information. Breakfast at the restaurant was standard. Some rooms had good harbour views. However, a building was being constructed next to the hotel, which could obstruct the sea view from some rooms, after its construction. The main issue was with the room size. I have never seen such small rooms but it is good enough if you just need a place for the night. Please be mindful of the room size while choosing this hotel, else you will be disappointed. The rooms ending with '12' are the smallest of all rooms and are good only for solo travellers. Overall, our stay here was a good experience.

A quick and easy experience. Service was nice and the staffs are very helpful. Just a few things to be noticed if you are to have a wonderful stay: — Book for cheap price: you'll get a room at the back with neighbourhood view instead of city view. A top-up of 100hkd/night applied in case you want to change. — It's 30 seconds walk to nearest MTR but to actually walk down to the train will be 300 meters. — Westerners are not recommended to stay here because the space is so tiny. You wont be able to open luggage on the floor. The rest, are nice!

Very close to a metro station! Small but clean rooms!

Great place for the budget conscious who still want the basics (a/c, safe area, near the MTR). Great views of the Bay (until construction completes on the building next door), small room but average size for HK, courteous and helpful staff. A/C is overly loud but you get used to it, bed firm but clean and comfy, walls aren't noise proof but also not paper thin. All around, recommended and will stay at again when in HK.

I enjoyed my stay and appreciated that they upgraded my room to the harbor view. Just a tiny matter that they need to deal with: the bugs. Even though I was 30 floors high, my room had some uninvited guests.

Rooms are extremely small but are overall quite comfortable. Location is very near to an MTR station so it is very convenient as well. Service is also good.

Alright hotel for the price. Beds are a bit hard and the rooms are tiny. View is nice (a new building is being build in front of it so it may be limited). Staff is friendly and helpful. Internet speed is good but requires signing in every 12 hours. Restaurant in the hotel is not too expensive for dinner.

The rooms are smaller than some Ibis of small European cities but the equipment is complete and everything is practically arranged. The decoration (painting) is a bit sad. Located next to North Point Metro station and in front of a ferry, very convenient for a short stay. Reception in English, indiaed. The unused Wi-fi must be reactive every 24 hours and Francophones are entitled to at least two French channels including TV5. Compliance with the smoking ban This seems to be self-evident, but this is not always the case in mainland China.

Good value for money in Hong Kong. Very close to the metro and nice and clean. We had a beautiful view, comfortable room and could not be more satisfied. Had the buffet breakfast. It is fine, but I would highly recommend the numerous restaurants around the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay from the ease of check-in to the delicious buffet breakfasts to the knowledgeable front desk staff one best means of transports to hiking locations. We got a good night's rest there as it was quiet and comfortable. The rooms are small, but all rooms in HK are small. MTR is right outside the hotel and easy to grab a cab right outside. They even supplied us with an adapter for the outlets as we forgot to pack ours. Overall a great experience with fantastic customer service. The only flaw was a slow elevator (but that just showed there were lots of people staying there).

Well located in Northpoint near one of the most atmospheric Street markets in Hongkong.

Reasonable Room Rate. Buffet Breakfast is surprising good for the 3 star rating. Could be very busy & the 3 slow & small lifts could really test your patience.

Not the best hotel you can stay. Unless you need to be close to northpoint avoid using this hotel. Try something closer to town. The are small, the bathroom is smelly and the Wi-Fi gets disconnected. There are no so many facilities. You will be close to the MTR but HKG is small.

Terrible! The room is very damp, everything is always damp! And bathroom without air conditioning system, you can smell the taste of the ditch! The only good part is the landscape view!

Dear Sirs Ibis.
Ibis North Point in Hong Kong I felt mistreated, cheated and stolen almost.
Comes with 900 prepaid rate dollars and I wanted AUpdate room, and empleadad charge me extra 1050 dollars, which amounts to almost 2000 dollars for a shoddy room. The insistrir and say that 900 had already prepaid Dolare spor night, he tells me that this is the rate, if I want I go, that I speak that language I do not understand, ironically, arrogant and insulting.
I never come back to this hotel or any IBIS, an embarrassment to ACCORD.

Really bad experience with the receptionist. I had called ahead of time to see if any rooms were available, and was told that there were. The receptionist also said that I should just come to the hotel to get a room, rather than reserve. So from this, I assumed there were many rooms available. As I walk up to the front desk and say I had called earlier about a room, the receptionist cut me off, saying there weren't any more rooms. I tried to explain the conversation I had with her only an hour ago, but she contunued to not look at me and do something else. Very rude I'd say.

I have been using this hotel for 10 years now… The price of this place has been steadily rising in past 5 years along with hk real estate, but it has gone above others in its similar class vs the value for money offered. The showers are small and difficult to use except for smallest of people. The rooms are small but clean and compact, with good quality bedding. 5 years ago it had little competition in its price range, but now there are other options popping up all over this part of hk island… I'd drop it from 4 star to 3 star in terms of value for money now… Oh and the breakfast sucks, go out to eat.

Air in the room was really bad. Could not open the window and the ventilation was bad. Really moist.

The other ibis in sheung wan is better and newer than this one in North point.

It wasn't the best experience, we came to ibis hotel about 7 years ago, compred to back then the beds are terrible. They used to be proper duvets in covers but now they are just a duvet trapped in between a cloth sandwich. Room was so small that there was actually no space to walk when we put out our suitcases. Don't like the fact we found a few bugs in the bathroom during our stay, and the fact that they never clean under the beds. Also, the way they deal with problems in the hotel is great if you think that them not taking any action of extremely loud people from China roaming the corridor shouting at around 5am. Also, if you've stayed there before you should know that they have a slot which you put your card in to use the power. One cleaner used our coffee stirrer to keep the power going! No water, no drinks in the fridge. To be honest, I wouldn't call this a hotel, it's actually a hostel.

Small but clean rooms, somewhat sketchy area, but overall no problems.

Newly painted rooms. Very clean but compact. Couple of negatives: no place to put your bag. Take is too narrow, dI'd not have bed side table, fridge is provide but without anything in, no complementary bottled water, breakfast is same thing everyday without any variations and pretty blend.
