Kaiyuan Temple is located in Licheng District West Street, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, is an important cultural relic in the southeastern coast of China, and is also the largest Buddhist monastery in Fujian province. The temple was founded in the early Tang Dynasty be two years (686 years), the first name Lotus Dojo, Kaiyuan 26 years (738 years) renamed Kaiyuan Temple. The existing main temples are Ming and Qing dynasties, the north and south 260 meters long, east and west 300 meters wide, covers an area of 78000 square meters.
