We had a very bad experience due to the bad treatment we suffered in the hotel restaurant by the metre Mr. Angel Aray, he was rude and rude when talking to us.
We understand that it was difficult to have lunch at that time due to the high influx of passengers, it was the way, we felt threatened, denigrated and persecuted because the man went to rebuke us at the reception when requesting the book of claims.

Excellent service, cozy dorms good menu, and a luxury staff, we had a great time, highly recommended.

The service was spectacular, very concerned about our stay, comfortable room plus an unpayable view, we were gifted quite a lot, it was the best choice in celebrating our marriage anniversary.

It's lousy, apart it has aggressive staff and thugs! even the human resources manager is one of them.

I strongly recommend that you never ever in the next 5 years stay at this hotel due to its lack of competence on tourism and from what I know, very bad team effort and beatings from various staff leaders to another. No vengan nunca a Hotel Grey!

If there is a bad working environment I doubt they will give a good service to their guests, I would certainly not stay in such a place.

The most noteworthy is the excellent attention of each person who works in the hotel: receptionists, concierge, guides, waiters, maids, etc.
The place is cozy, with a tasteful décor and a SPECTACULAR view.

The view of Lago Grey is spectacular! v the staff is warm, friendly, helpful & all around terrific. I would definitely come back!

Terrible experience all around! First they forgot us (and another couple) at the pick up location for over two hours! When we finally got to the hotel and wanted some compensation for being stuck outside in the cold for two hours without anywhere to go they only took off the cost for the pick up, when asked to speak to a manager we were told he was not available for the rest of the day/night. Dinner was awful — the food was nothing special, my meat was dry, and the service was a complete disaster. Waiters were running around like they had no idea what to do, several disgruntled people and tables were waiting over 40min for simple dishes. The table next to us was a family of four and were complaining they booked months ahead of time to have two rooms together and now their kids room was located on the other side of the entire facility from them. They also asked to speak to a manager and got the same lame excuse I did — he was busy. I suggest you save your money and stay at hotel pehoe! That was our favorite hotel during the 5 day trip to Patagonia. The only thing that saved the night was a friendly bartender from Florida who apologized to us and gave us a free drink for the terrible service we were receiving.

Excellent hotel, the facilities are top notch as well as the attention they offer. The views from the dining room, café and rooms are a luxury, all with plenty of natural light. It takes advantage of the vegetation of the area in the decoration. As for their gastronomy, they offer a buffet breakfast with eggs made by command and can be fried, scrambled, pochados, in omellette, etc. Great variety of hams, salami and fine pastry. Excellent croissants stuffed with pastry and chantillí. We had lunch one day and I was lucky enough to try a so-called plate with caramelized pear to wine and mushroom rissotto, delicious! and a few ravivioles four dream cheeses! Staying at this hotel is definitely a prize!

Beautiful hotel, within the natural park of Torres del Paine. Modern and chic hotel with integrated restaurant and bar, with a beautiful view. The rooms, although expensive are very nice and cosy. It's simple, this hotel from the end of the world gives you the impression of being a villain of James bons. The staff is very nice, and we meet people of all nationalities. Very special mention for the bar which is really very satisfying. Go, cheers.

Great hotel very well located but a bit expensive (restaurant). Superior rooms have a wonderful view.

I stayed here for two nights. Pros: location — visit the glacier which is a must if you’ve not been to the ones in Argentina already. Cons: Exorbitant cost and terrible cost to value ratio. No competition. Rooms are basic. Nothing like the luxury conveyed in the hotel website promotional photos. Think Centreparks. Our room had a huge crack in the window. The bathroom was shabby and needed redoing (grout falling out of the tiles, broken soap dispenser etc). Terrible sound insulation between rooms — they are basically cabins so when your neighbours get up at 4.50am, like ours did, so do you! Wi-Fi. There is no phone reception — this is fine but the Wi-Fi is non existent and the hotel is fully aware of this yet continue the pretence. Apart from being a waste of time and source of frustration, you have no way to plan your onward travels. We stayed elsewhere within the park and Wi-Fi was fine. Hotel Grey: STOP SAYING YOU HAVE Wi-Fi! The restaurant was just ok — expensive for dinner and the breakfast was middling/poor. The staff is generally friendly, but jaded by the never ending bus loads of tourists coming through the whole time. Reception were useless and unresponsive prior to arriving however. Don’t spend time trying to communicate with them beforehand. We persisted with doing a tour on the glacier by boat — we needed to walk out to the boat 3 times as it kept being cancelled due to the wind.

We went here on our Honeymoon. One of the best locations within Torres Del Paine. You have views of Grey Glacier and the Western mountains on the W circuit. Great place for couples. They have a couple of self-led half day hikes from the hotel as well as a selection of guided hikes available. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced, considering that you are in the middle of no where. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Friendly and knowledge staff, most of which, speak English.

Very expensive, to receive very little. Wi-Fi insufficient, and only in reception halls,. Good breakfast, excellent fruit. Modern suites rooms, overlooking the lake but they covered the trees. I wouldn't come back.

Excellent place, magical atmosphere…

Clean spacious rooms with wonderful views over the lake to the glacier and mountains. I included a photo of the view from a table in the bar. Friendly and very helpful staff. I speak little Spanish but did find a staff member in the reception area that spoke good English and was very helpful when I needed to re-book my canceled LATAM (do check those flights! ).

Located in a idyllic place. Suitable for visiting the Torres del Paine and where the excursion goes to the Grey Glacier.

Very nice Hotel, very classy but unfortunately I did not house. Just drank a coffee and used the Wi-Fi and booked my boat ticket to the glacier.

The hotel is really beautiful and the reception staff extremly friendly. We stayed in the room complex with the 100-numbers. The rooms are renewed and look nice. The thing that made our stay worse was the restaurant. The staff is nice but so unorganized. 6 waiters were standing arround for the whole time we were eating but we waited 15 minutes for the bill. The food was not that tasty for what you pay for (28‘000 pesos for a fixed menu).

Nice room. You should take the view but 2nd floor and all the back left.

We didn't stay at the hotel but if we went on their boat. An excessively expensive transport and when we had to return to port we were three people and had cancelled the boat back without notice leaving my brother and sister-in-law separated from her one and a half year old son, who was with the grandparents. We had to protest a lot and with the help of the CONAF we got the ship sent to us in our search. A boat nothing cheap for what it was (€180 roundtrip). That yes, includes a pisco sour that also ideon us around. Some nerve, did not compensate to come to pick up 3 people and also had no place in the shelter that was near the port.

I love this hotel! The view is incredible! It's right on Lago Grey. The staff was the best I've encountered in any hotel, hands down. You have to try their Calafate Sour at the bar, it's fantastic and so are their desserts. The room was warm and cozy with a heated floor in the bathroom. My view from my room was beautiful, seriously, I was about to cry when I had to check out. I will definitely go back again. P. S. I went at the slow season, end of May so the lake is a bit dry, that's what you see in my photos. Beautiful though.

Great Hotel, near the lake. Rocky beach with beautiful crushed ice and goose soft stone lying on the edge of the lake, near the hotel window. Wild foxes can be seen by the time.

We had only lunch here and a coffee, so we can say nothing about the accommodation. The Espresso was bad and totally overpriced. The sandwich was boring (just a bunnwith a fried chicken inside and tomato sauce). The fries were totally salty. Ripp off.

Amazing how a modern hotel operates in the middle of nowhere. Expensively, for sure, because you'll pay for it. However, considering how remote it is to ship goods here, the price is reasonably justified. The view is one of the nicest in the park without hiking.

Rooms were small and basic for the price ($300 USD), the mall on offer was similarly Spartan and the pork was definitely over cooked. The view was amazing but does that justify the asking price?

My review is for the restaurant only. We used it for a 4 course dinner whilst visiting the park and the food was very good (and more than I could eat, which is not normal). The price is reasonable and per meal and includes a drink (Pisco Sour) and coffee, both can be exchanged for other drinks. The vegetarian options are not many (1), but not the dreaded Risotto. Very nice setting with views on the peaks in the park. Service very good and you can negotiate a smaller meal for a smaller price. Also the bar has a nice setting and interior. Lago Grey can be used to book trips including the boat trip to the Grey Glacier.

The hotel was a great experience — amazing glacier views, excellent beds and sheets, great breakfast. Ask for room with glacier view. The staff were nice and we got a courtesy pisco sour on arrival. Getting to the hotel is difficult. By bus you would need to get to Administración, then get a transfer bus to the hotel ($15, 000 — very pricey, for comparison we paid this for a return bus Puerto Natales Punta Arenas). Your journey by bus will be slower because at Pehoe buses from all companies stop and load all passengers onto only one bus that continues to Administración. To give you an idea, we set off from Puerto Natales at 07:10am and arrived at the hotel 12:20, missing the boat we were going to take. Best bet is to rent a car in Punta Arenas. We didn't know and hoped to get everywhere by transfers or buses and ended up hitch hiking. We originally wanted to get to Refugio Grey by boat and do a walk up to glacier on the other side but unfortunately this would require you to buy two one way boat tickets! Each at $60, 000 each, so $120, 000 per person (around $200 USD or €170). So we skipped the boat all together. We heard good things about it from other travellers.

Good food with great view! Not so far from the iceberg.

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel after camping for 4 nights in Torres del Paine. We booked a superior room with a lake view as we had heard wonderful things about the position of this hotel and its views of the park and lago grey. We did a lot of research into choosing the best place to finish our trek however the prospect of a room looking out over the lake here trumped the other hotel options in the park. Upon arrival the staff were very helpful and a lovely porter showed us to our room. Our room however, was not what we had booked. Instead of a lake view, we had views of a cluster of trees. Ours was the end room in a block of superior rooms which clearly had unobstructed views of the lake. This was gutting as we were so excited to check out our view. When we asked at the front desk if we could move, we were told that the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. My girlfriend had to go out of her way to argue that there should be some sort of refund or something they could do to make up for there breach of terms. This seemed alien to them and after waiting for the issue to reach management 2 ours later we were finally offered a $20 bottle of wine… the room cost $400. We felt pretty helpless during our stay here, and this situation put a serious dampener on our trip to the park. There are some other really cool hotel options in Torres del Paine and it's a great shame we didn't get the chance to go back on our decision.

Average hotel and carisimo the only thing I like are the views.

Amazing view, great food (get the seafood stew), great drinks poured over literal glacier ice from the glacier out the window. Only way to drink Liquor de Calafate for the whole Patagonian experience a tourist can have. The boat tour if the glacier faces with a pisco sour in hand was totally worth the money.

Set on the shores of Lago Grey this hotel has a beautiful setting with a good restaurant. Hiking nearby offers view of Torres del Paine and Grey Glacier.

First who all greet them all and all the great team of work from the Hotel Lago Grey, and I want to take advantage of congratulating them, for the attention of first level giving all employees of this Hotel, all applied value of the empathy towards the client, therefore, attest of this group of people that are delivered to a million % to make us feel at home.
This is an empirical view that I had last year when I competed in the 63 Kms. And with care and good I got my gold medal in my category (more than 50 years).
