Excellent view, reception and Wi-Fi offer good menu and is miy clean.
What would improve would be that the windows of the bedroom can be opened more to feel more fresh air.

The reception is fantastic and the food is exquisite! The very good atmosphere and is a very good atmosphere to go with the family, they are careful in the toilet of the place and have wonderful view of the lake… And for the bride and groom have beautiful details.

Beautiful place. The facilities in general, the cabanas, the heated pool, all of excellent quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 100% recommended.

Very nice hotel… But the breakfast they offer leaves a lot to say. On Sundays and holidays is until 11, and when I went there was no food, all tables occupied or dirty and no one to attend to you. Many complaints hear from the tables for the same situation.
They could just improve that big point that makes your day go wrong. For the great hotel it is and the price they charge. (Start removing things while one as it sucks, suggests that you are running from the place)

The maximum attraction it has, the pool, was closed for "maintenance", a situation that was not notified until our arrival, despite booking with much anticipation. On the other hand, the children's playroom was also "occupied by a meeting". When you go to a hotel you must be all your dependencies running, otherwise you should be notified with time to book in other hotels. Eye, the parking lot is in another building, you have to cross the street with your things and there is usually rain. We had two opportunities that had NO parking, leaving the car in the street. One day, despite putting the sign to make the room, we arrived in the afternoon and was not made. I do not recommend this hotel, there are much better alternatives in the city.

A very safe and comfortable hotel, however, fall into the issue of the availability of hot and cold water for unlimited consumption. This favors the visit of families with babies who require water for the bottle or take a tea, a mate. It's a can be asking the kitchen all the time. I suggested it personally… That's just why I put four stars in it.

Beautiful Place, romantic but also familiar. Excellent Service and attention. Good menu in the bar, beautiful view from any point of the hotel. It's Worth staying in a place like this. The heated pool could be hotter it was very warm in my opinion, there was only 1 enabled, the other in maintenance.

This hotel is undoubtedly in a good location and, if you can get a room facing the right way, has lovely views across the lake. However my experience of the hotel was poor — the service is dreadful and the staff are completely uninterested in helping or solving problems they have created. As I was leaving early on my last day I ordered a packed breakfast 2 days in advance. When I came to collect it nothing had been prepared. The receptionist was totally unhelpful. He refused to ask the restaurant to prepare something then and refused to let me go into the breakfast room 30 mins early even to get a coffee. In short this hotel has become smug — believing that a good location is enough and it just doesn’t matter if this is coupled with lazy and unprofessional staff and poor service. Puerto Varas has lots of nice hotels and I’d encourage people to find alternatives to this one.

Nice place to stay with rooms overlooking the sea… swimming pool, water jars, and state… Friday and Saturday with special events in the hotel's bar.

Very good experience! The cottages attached to the hotel are modern, functional and with a wonderful view of Lake Llanquihue and the waterfront of Puerto Varas. The services and amenities of the hotel are very comprehensive, particularly the heated pool deck, which is very appropriate for the fun for the kids and relaxing for the rest of the family.

The view is breathtaking. The rooms very comfortable and comfortable. Is excellent breakfast. The sink has a view beautiful.

The rooms are beautiful! We had a lake view suite. It had a large living room, kitchenette, and king size bed. We had a fantastic view of the volcanoes. The staff were really friendly and helpful!

An excellent and historical hotel with all the amenities of a modern one. It seems that all rooms have an incredible view. There's a restaurant and a bar and town is a short hike two blocks up the beach. This place is beautiful and you will find that you can get by with very little or no Spanish.

Excellent hotel and location in front of Lake Llanquihue. The surrounding landscape is dreamy, the Osorno Volcano and Snowy Mountains are observed. The breakfast and the rooms are excellent. The location is sober and striking. The staff were very friendly and friendly. There are also restaurants nearby that offer delicious food.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room with a beautiful lake view, well equipped and well air-conditioned. The pool of the club House spectacular for a total relaxation. Very good breakfast and very nice bar. The only suggestion I would make would be to extend the menu of the restaurant, perhaps to enhance the preparations with salmon and have more variety of pasta and desserts. In general terms, my stay was a real pleasure.

Great location. Fantastic views. Street level exit to the lakeside Esplanade. Food ok but better to eat at one of the local restaurants along the lakeside.

To be more accurate I give a rating of 3.5/5. The staff is friendly and the breakfasts are plentiful and rich. However the food in the hotel restaurant is not good, the cards to enter the hotel rooms tend to have problems and the rooms lack a good ventilation system.

Great hotel. It has beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms and a specular sight of the lake and the city. It is close to the central part of the city and close to several restaurants. It serves good meals and has some options for vegetarians.

First I had a small room with a wonderfull view but a tiny bathroom. As I am very tall and slightly claustrophobic, I was quite upset. The hotel reacted immediately and gave me a bigger room with a bigger bathroom, as soon as they had a free one. And everybody was really nice about it. Now I have a lovely room with a lovely view. Very pleasant place. To feel at home to be able to circulate without problem by the different public sectors of the hotel, particularly the halls. Good bar, but the most remarkable is the buffet lunch. Variety of dishes, meats and desserts, as well as careful attention that was almost exaggerated. The staff was permanently close to offering you what you might need.

Perfect hotel! Great location, view and instalations!

We had three nights in a lake-facing room and it was great. They provided a wheelchair when needed and the staff were courteous and helpful. Language was a bit of a struggle but that is part of the deal in a foreign country, and we had already realised that Chile is a long way from any countries that routinely speak English! The bar snacks and evening meals that we had were excellent and the self-service breakfast was good; it includes a wide range of options. Only one reservation, there was no tea and coffee in the room, only a minibar (chargeable​, of course). Oh, and the pool that is featured on the web site turned out to be on the other side of the road.

My hopes and expectations for Cabana Del Lago were incredibly high. What amazing Trip Advisor reviews. What a great place to celebrate a romantic trip on the other side of the globe. Unfortunately, our wishes were not granted and we wish we would have stayed elsewhere. On the bright side, the lake/volcano views are immaculate. The hotel has a warm lake cabin feel and is much closer to town than others make it sound to be. First, I found the staff to be cold, not helpful, and not interested in helping customers. I know the property was sold out when we were there, so I'm sure they were busy and stressed. Every time I walked up to the desk — even if there weren't other guests there — I would have to wait 3-5 minutes to speak to someone. They were head down on their computer, and most often did not acknowledge me. Additionally, my Spanish is not at all perfect and their English is only so-so, but I know they have plenty of staff members who speak English fluently because I communicated with them via email leading up to our stay. I wish — during the more complex questions — that they would have asked a fluent English speaker to help me. Secondly, we reserved one the cabanas, which is basically a large apartment separated form the main hotel. There are four of these cabanas in a building. Nicely decorated space, comfortable, plenty of space for four. We were in the farthest cabana from the main building.

The pool. Travelled with a four year old and she loved it. Food in the restaurant is good but not great. Service was excellent, although English, like many places in Chile, is a struggle. The location and the view of the the Calbuco and Osorno volcano's is hard to beat.

We went from summer family vacation and the experience was very good. Good facilities, good restaurants, excellent staff and very beautiful place. Totally recommended.
