Amazing staff and service! I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for my family and I. I will forever be grateful for the quality of care they provided us during our stay.

Just an awful place. Apparently in a half hour span I got 5 noise complaints well doing my hair and my fella was sitting in bed. They had us escorted out, and brought up that our room was paid for in points. Just awful customer service. Never used them again.

Rooms are clean. The location is very convenient, but this is not place to visit with children or babies specially if you go to use the restaurant service because the staff of restaurant are not very helpful or amazing, all the time they are very distracted.

Rooms have been beautifully upgraded, and are clean and well presented. The staff are amazing and the location is very convenient.

Dog friendly. Notice, you cannot leave your dog alone in the room. There are plenty options to have food delivered and places you can visit for patio dining.

No parking, only parking was 2 blocks away, 360$ for a regular small room with two queen beds a little overpriced.
Room was spotless and clean though.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful hospitality. We had an awful day of travel, and before we were checked in, due to the sheer friendliness of the staff, it was like the day started over and I had completely forgotten that I was exhausted. They are so nice. I love the corner room and the bar is really cool. I can't wait to come back.

This one is a gem amongst all the Marriott I've stayed before. The people are awesome and the service deserve a 5 star. Keep up the good work!

Very rude front desk and door staff! I had a friend staying with the hotel from Japan and unknown to me at the time he had changed hotels to the Coast hotel. (Due to the poor staffing and over price. ) But in his haste he forgot to call me. I walked up to the front counter to ask the lady to please ring my friend, but I had to wait ten minutes for her to get off of the phone. (She could not even say: "Just one moment please sir. ") When she got off of the phone and bluntly asked me what I wanted, I gave her the name of my friend and she ask a doorman to go up to the room as a taxi driver was here for a pick up. I was so shocked! I was polite and not poorly dressed. I nor non of my family and friends will do any business with this Marriott hotel.

I never write review. This is my first time. I am only writing this coz we were so disappointed. Marriott have good reputation, so I didn't mind partying $370 per night but the service and the rooms were not even as nice as comfort inn. We booked 3rooms and specifically wrote that we need two queen bed in each room, they screw that up. And then parking, they charged us but they were no space when we came late to the hotel. Overall, very dissatisfied with their service for the price we paid.

Outstanding service and downtown location. Slightly dated decor, but still high quality and very comfortable. A particular highlight was the attentive staff in the lobby, from the doormen to the concierge.

The service at this hotel was amazing. As an SPG Gold Member I felt like they went out of there way to make sure your stay was exemplary which makes a huge impression for me. If I ever stay in downtown Victoria again this is the only hotel I will use going forward. The interior's are a little dated inside, that would be my only gripe but it's refreshing to see a hotel that allows us to easily connect a device to the TV if we want to stream for example. This is rare still but makes a huge difference.

This hotel is convenient located downtown near the water front. The food at the hotel is fantastic. The rooms are clean and neat, love that there is a wired network jack.

A very nice hotel that's a fairly central location as far as walking around Victoria. Rooms were clean the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I definitely would stay here again given the opportunity. The restaurant inside the hotel is quite decent as well. Try the charcuterie board! Heads up with parking as there is underground but it's tight to turnaround and people tend to come around the corner quite quickly.

Great gym. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet was affordable for children. Great location, walking distance. Laurie who works in the restaurant downstairs was extremely kind and helpful. I am very impressed by this hotel.

My favourite hotel I Victoria. Walking distance to old town and legislature. Good amenities. High quality rooms. Concierge lounge is a great llace to unwind. Reasonable prices during off season.

I love staying here when I'm visiting Victoria for work. The staff is extremely helpful, the hotel itself is clean and up to date. The location is fantastic with a lot of great food options within walking distance. Waterfront and great attractions are only a few mins away as well. I would give them a 5 star rating if they were a little more consistent with pricing.

Stayed here for a week in February for business. Staff everywhere at the property were very nice, lobby, lounge, and restaurant. The concierge lounge menu was the same each day, could uses a little variation. Restaurant was decent. They gave me a room on the 16th floor, the views from the windows were spectacular!

Warning! Do not book early and prepay on the Marriott website. You think you are getting the best rate but then they put on additional promotions and do not give you the additional discount. I loved this hotel and stayed here regularly but will NOT be staying here again — after my next two weekend reservations are used.

This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. It's located right downtown at inner harbor within walking distance to everything and the staff was phenomenal. Not the nicest room I've e ever had, but it might be the best hotel I've ever stayed.

Did the Dine Around Menu with husband and our visiting son. My steak was tough and another time I'd go with rare vs medium. The men ordered the lamb shank and found it uncooked or? Desserts and Salads were excellent! I gather for the Dine around menu it is not possible to ask for plain veg. What is on the menu is what you get. Lesson learned. Server did a great job as the dining room got very packed.

I love it there. They have nice front desk staff and Meghan from the service department. She was excellent thanks you guys for having us again this year.

This Hotel is right near the Inner Harbour and is within walking distance of good restaurants and attractions. The rooms are top notch and pet friendly as well. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Marriotts in general have the most comfortable beds! The staff here is so helpful. Located conveniently near everything… Food, drink, shopping.

The Marriott is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The location is perfect for down town shopping, restaurants and bars — as well as those scenic inner harbour experiences. I LOVE the comfy beds and those luxurious duvets — this is my "go to" spot and my " home away from home" when I stay in Victoria.

The location is walking distance to town and to water front. The rooms are clean and well kept and the service is amazing. Attended a corse training program that is held at the hotel and the hospitality is impeccable. Coffee, tea snacks. Polite customer service with restocking Food and drinks.

Very comfortable, clean room. Some dated-looking furniture, but the bathroom was really nice. Pleasant staff. Light on amenities, particularly given the nightly rate. No mini fridge in my room, which was a first for me. The gym was quaint. There were some outdoor patios that looked post-apocalyptic. Well placed location for travelling around town, but if there's a good view from anywhere in the hotel I never saw it.

Stated they would provide a dbl bed room for wheelchair accessible. Did not, only single bed for 3 ppl. Did provide an extra roll out but still did not provide initial room when spoken to on the phone.

5 star staff service! I cannot say enough good things about multiple staff members, especially at the front of house! Says a lot for the company as a whole, it is reflected in their staff and I've never had such 5 star service, and just genuine human interaction! Highly recommended, a big thank you to a staff member named Sean!

When visiting Victoria, I usually stay at this hotel, mainly because of its convenient location and reasonable rates. This is not a five-star hotel, and isn't the most modern either, but it does offer great value for the business and budget traveller. Beds are comfortable and rooms are adequately furnished and equipped. The staff are friendly and service standards are high. For example, I encountered a problem with my Wi-Fi connection, which staff quickly and effectively addressed. Remember to budget an extra $16 a night for self-parking underground. Overall, I have always been happy with my stays at this hotel, and intend to keep returning here on future visits to Victoria. Have realistic expectations and your stay here will be very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very modern and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Location is absolutely beautiful with walking distance to the harbor. Workers were very friendly and it was a very pleasant stay here.

Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour is located in the center of all of the action. It is a top of the line hotel. Everything is top notch. I didn't find anything to improve.

Had a slight mix up with bookings when we first checked in but staff were extremely accommodating and a short sojourn in the bar did not disappoint either. Well located comfortable beds. The Marriott did not disappoint.

Our family loves the Victoria Marriott, the joining rooms are perfect for families and the amenities are wonderful. But most of all the staff, the entire staff, the most pleasant and friendly I have ever experienced. Always wishing you well, even if it's just passing in the hall or met on the elevator. We booked this room via Telephone and the woman on the other end was super helpful. We were looking for a room high up and with a balcony, and she definitely got us what we asked for. She signed us up for a rewards program for free that saved us some money on the regular rate. The room was beautiful and had more than enough room for us. The bathroom was beautiful and stocked with everything we might need. The Wi-Fi was great and allowed for up to 6 devices. And the hotel had a pool, which we didnt get a chance to use, same as the room service. We forgot actually to place our order for breakfast and this missed out. Seemed delicious, a littld pricey, but good. The Valet was a nice surprise. We were told we could park underground with our cargo carrier but we must have been on the cusp by a few inches because the sign stating 6'9'' scraped the top of our carrier. But other than that it was a beautiful hotel! A concierge to help with any restaurant recommendations and tour bookings. A nice option.

Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for one night and we're very happy with the staff and the room. You do have to pay for parking but that is understandable considering the location in downtown Victoria. There are a ton of things to do in the area (walking distance). We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was phenomenal! Every single staff member with whom we interacted was friendly, professional, and helpful. We never walked through the lobby without being greeted. They offered fabulous suggestions of restaurants and things to do and sought to help us in any way needed at all times. From the housekeeper to the concierge, bell hops, servers in the hotel restaurant and people at the front desk, all should be commended for an excellent job. Oh, and we loved the room and location! I will look forward to staying at this hotel again upon a return trip to Victoria.

Just a beautiful experience great view staff was kind and just a little slow but due to the volume they were handling they made it work. I would definately go back.

I attended the 6th annual Red Carpet Gala held for the 1st time at the Marriott. This was by far the best event yet and the reception and service by the Marriott staff was outstanding!

Stayed at the Marriott Inner Harbour many years ago when I was looking to settle here FT. It was luxurious and the service was excellent. Awesome location too!

Spent 17 days there, folks are always smiling and trying to make us unique. Food was great, bar is adequate, might need additonal beer taps but that is just personnal preference.

Sometimes a big name hotel can be unwelcoming, and a bit cold. The Victoria M was neither. The staff, concierge, etc were all very welcoming. The hotel is small enough to get around in, and the 16th floor lounge had good food choices and a good staff. I have stayed at the Empress before, but the history does not make it very comfortable. Additionally the hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to most shopping and dining.

Terrible experience with booking. Will not stay. Buyer beware with their ridiculous fine print, unlike anywhere I have ever stayed. Of note this is only for the Victoria location. Vancouver location was exceptional and welcoming. I suspect the two are only related by name. I had to question the legalities of some of practices used by the Victoria Marriott.

If there was a way to add zero stars I would, Stayed here this past weekend. Nov 09/10 and at first everything was pleasant, till the fine print came into play. Lot of things were properly not explain, Mr. ANTONE (excuse the spelling) charged us 250 for smoking on the balcony (OUTSIDE) when we were not aware, or for the charges and could not properly explain the charges. A red head female, with the worst attitude, spoke to us and informed us of the rules, as to which we apologized for, but only after then realizing we were fined. AND HOW DO YOU CHARGE TAXES ON A 250 DOLLAR fine, Red head needs to get some attitude adjustment classes. WORST stay, and a company I am associated usually stays at these hotels, lets say a impact will be felt. WILL NOT stay at a Marriott again. In particular this one.

We stayed at the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour in July 2013. The hotel's location is excellent. You can easily walk to the waterfront or the downtown area where the shopping and pubs are. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful! During our stay we had the misfortune of having my mom get very sick. She had to be transported by ambulance to the hospital. Their staff was amazing. They quickly got us an ambulance, held an elevator for the paramedics and printed out very easy to follow instructions for how to get to the hospital. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Staying at the Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour made my trip to Victoria, BC perfect! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and effective. Our room has a view of the Inner Harbour, and was equipped with a flat screen TV, water kettle, coffee maker, ironing board and more! We had dinner at the Fire and Water. The food was so delicious that we went back there for brunch the next day! If you are shopping for Victoria hotels to stay in, definitely check out the Marriott.

I have certain expectations of hotels I choose to stay at, including the Marriott brand hotels. I've stayed here several times. The Concierge has always been helpful and Victoria is such a great city. This last stay over — I had two incidents that were within the hotels scope to anticipate, change or improve. Instead of the any of the former three options — my personal responsibility related to the incident was questioned? The hotel was not full; and my room was located right next to a 50th anniversary party (100+ people) in a conference meeting room. Exhausted and traveling on business I just decided to crash (typically a very sound sleeper) I was awoken several times — not because of the lingering party guests, but by the hotel staff cleaning up the bar in the hallway and yelling back and forth. Was it unreasonable for me to expect a hotel to note the meeting room booking and anticipate hotel guests needs by not locating them close to a party or where it's own staff would be working late cleaning up? The second incident started in the morning. It's 2012 and I expect a strong internet connection in each room where I travel (this is standard now in Nairboi, Rio or Edmonton) but not Victoria? Can I be expected to work on one bar of connectivity that keeps disconnecting and resetting? — When I raised this incident with the front desk, my personal responsibility was questioned again with "why didn't you call the IT help desk?
