We love this hotel. The service is good. Clean surroundings, friendly staff, I cannot ask for more.

I will never stay here and do not recommend to anyone. The pool is closed and not opening for the whole summer. No a/c or fans and it’s bloody hot. I can’t believe that a hotel doesn’t have a/c in this day and age. Wasted our money for sure. Also doesn’t state that they have no a/c of would have never booked with them. We also got a kitchenette. There were no dishes and half of the cupboards were locked…

The rooms are very out dated the bed is very worn its like sleeping on a concrete slab wall paper coming off in bath room bathroom fan very noisie bathroom door drags on the floor heat doesn't shut of unless you turn it right off.

Good clean comfortable rooms. We’ll be back.

We just arrived today… we got an early check-in at 11:00 and found a birthday surprise for my mom in our room (they were aware that we are celebrating her 75th birthday). What a nice surprise for her! She was super happy about that. Emily at the front desk is super sweet and friendly also! Loving this place so far!

Great location, walking distance to pretty much anything you want to do. Front desk staff friendly & helpful. The pool was cold even in July and the hot tub seemed too hot. Excellent free breakfast. Kitchenette was small but perfect size for us. Beds where comfy, rooms quiet, bathrooms large with lots of counter space. Nice table and chairs on the patio and another inside the sliding door off the patio.

We always stay at the Best Western Inner Harbor Victoria as it is clean, safe, has secure parking, the rooms are always clean, the beds comfy and the staff super helpful and friendly! Oh yes… and the breakfast have everything you could possibly want. Will continue to make it our Victoria "home base"!

Great hotel! The rooms are nicely decorated and include kitchenettes. We also enjoyed the complimentary full breakfast. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. The hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym along with the outdoor pool are an awesome plus!

Really nice and clean hotel. We got a king bed suite with kitchenette and balcony. Everything was top notch. Parking underground. There was also free breakfast every morning. Only took a star off because I wish there was room service.

Very nice rooms. Excellent service. It does lack air conditioning. The steady breezes make this less important than other places. The patio doors open up to a deck as well. Small cute pool and a decent breakfast. It is very well located to the Parliament Buildings and the Museum.

It is a beautiful hotel. A short walk from the ferry dock and harbor. I misread the information and thought there was a restaurant but instead there was a breakfast. There is a variety however not much for gluten and dairy free. There WAS something though! The room had a small kitchenette which was great. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are beautifully done and there are many plug ins and places to charge our numerous devices. Bed is small typical of non US hotels.

My sister and I stayed at your lovely hotel for two nights while in Victoria. Our room was on the 4th floor with a balcony facing the harbor. The beds were very comfortable (lots of pillows! ) and we appreciated the small kitchenette area as well. We did leave the patio door open to cool our room in the evening, and used the fan so we were comfortable. Air conditioning would be a nice addition, but with a high of 65 during the day and much cooler in the evening, it wasn't necessary. Everything was clean and nicely appointed, the staff was very helpful and answered our questions as well as providing a map to help us located attractions. There was underground parking for our car (for a fee) which was very handy, and we were delighted to be close to the ferry and downtown. The hotel is so conveniently located and we walked to shops, Fisherman's Wharf, and restaurants during our stay there. Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful city!

Great staff as I was greeted by name when I arrived. This is my first time staying at this property. Breakfast staff were great also with a good variety of options for guests. The hotel is within walking distance of everything that you want to see and do. I walked every morning 2 kms before breakfast and was quite pleased. Great coffee all the time.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely perfect. Great location, beautiful beds, very good breakfast included. The outdoor pool in the garden looked inviting but we didn't have enough time for a swim. The friendly staff will make you feel welcome. Stay here!

This hotel is beautifully located and central to many main attractions such as the Embassy Hotel, Legislature Buildings, Provincial Museum and Imax Theatre. In addition its proximity to the harbour lends an air of activity. An easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf is a bonus. The comprehensive included top notch breakfast adds a great deal to its overall value. Highly recommended.

My best friend and I spend two nights here for my 40th birthday. The staff were amazing. They left a special card and treat to wish me happy birthday. They allowed us to store bags before and after our check in/check out time, so we could explore Victoria a little longer. The breakfast was incredible. They had many options for any type of eater. All facilities were clean and well maintained. We were so impressed that we are going to bring our families back to this hotel!

I will start off by saying I frequently stay in Best Westerns. The room I was given here has no cooling options. There is a small loud fan that does not distribute air and we are on ground floor. The only viable option to cool this room (the provided fan is a joke) is to open the patio door where anyone off the street can walk in to the room. The hotel doesn't a care about this safety issue, but were willing to move me up a floor for a fare increase. As I type this, a bunch of kids just skate boarded by my open balcony door, loud traffic continues to pass, and there are the is a group of people hanging out in the street by my patio door. This is the worst Best Western experience and I recommend everyone avoid it.

Amazing breakfast! Amazing service! Cleaning, and comfortable. Enjoy the amazing weekend here. I think I will come back this hotel again.

This was about the forth time we have stayed there. Room and bathroom were very clean as usual. We had a second floor park view which still faces the inner harbour but you are lower than a "harbour view". The deck was quiet and, as there were no leaves on the trees yet, we had a "peek-a-boo view" of the water. We had a vehicle but walked downtown, to the breakwater, to the floating houses, and out for dinners. You really don't have to drive from this hotel. I still do not agree with the $12 a day parking charge. A great inner harbour hotel.

Great stay. We thought we would be dropping off our bags at the front desk for a few hours, but the room was ready, so the ladies offered to have us check in early. Clean room, friendly staff, everybody enjoyed the provided hot breakfast. Would stay at this property again.

The room I had was nice. 2 balconies. Decent enough sized room. The staff was very friendly. The location being near Imax building and the conference center was perfect. Would stay again.

I found the rooms to be very clean and we'll maintained. The beds were very comfortable with soft feather pillows. I prefer firm pillows. The breakfast was ok. The egg dish was very bland but understandable when trying to please everyone.

Absolutely great stay. From arrival to departure we were treated to great service. We arrived early, stowed our luggage, and went for lunch. When our room was ready early, we were called and advised of it. Staff was able to arrange our shuttle bus pick for the airport for our departure. Always a smile from staff when entering or leaving for our adventures.

Great location. A little cozy — the breakfast area, lobby and hallways are all very tight. But the rooms have kitchenettes. (no pots? ) Most views are of buildings and a few are high enough and directed towards the harbour. Be sure to double check and triple check to verify that you have the view. Otherwise you will be looking at parking lots. Lots of choices for breakfast and a good selection of teas. Close to many attractions. Plan to pay for parking.

I had a ground floor room at the back of the hotel equipped with a king size bed and full kitchen. It was very quiet and comfortable. I only stayed one night after attending a club Christmas social but would have been happy to stay longer. All good.

What a great Christmas Stay. Our room was great, and the staff as well. We were made to feel at home with Lee and the other Front End Staff. The room had all of the amenities to ensure a comfortable 4 day stay. Housekeeping did a fine job. Christmas Day we decided not to have housekeeping services as we know that during the holidays people should be with their loved ones if at all possible. The front staff was very accommodating if we ran out of something in the room. The brunch provided was excellent with lots of selection, a little crowded during peak periods but that is to be expected. The hotel is nicely situated close to all of the great magical sites that Victoria has to offer. A little expensive, but we will certainly stay with them again during our next visit. Thank you to all the staff for making our Christmas in Victoria a truly Magical Experience.

The staff there was very kind to us. I felt like they really care about us. I stayed there with my kids. Even though my kids were a bit loud, they never complained and made our stay a memorable one. I would definitely stay there again.

A wonderful hotel right in the heart of Victoria's harbour. Close to everything you need, and all the attractions that the harbour front has to offer. We were just blocks from Fisherman's wharf, which has great fish n' chips! Plus you can feed Seals! Just a block down from the Parliament buildings. The staff were wonderful, the rooms were clean and tidy. A great place to stay for anyone!

This was a nice hotel. A bit more money than what we are used to but I think it was reasonable for the area. It's in a great location to site see and get around on foot. The breakfast was good. We also used the fitness room and it was really good compared to some we've come across. We have an amazing view also.

Amazing experience. The front desk ladies were quite pleasant and were more then helpful recommending a place for us to go have dinner. Whirlpool, steam room, our bedroom, everything was top notch! Short walking distance to all the exciting parts of Victoria. Will definitely come again in the summer.

Not swanky but does the job for a well-located, well-priced hotel in downtown Victoria. Top floor harbour side has view to ocean and Empress Hotel. Kitchenette handy to have. Free breakfast is pretty good. Very friendly, competent staff on phone for reservation (called hotel directly, not call centre) and in person at desk and elsewhere. Easy street parking. Would stay again.

This property is our favorite when visiting Victoria. Its on the harbor and is in walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast choices are varied and will appeal to all. It is a quiet spot for a good nights rest. The staff are very accommodating.

We stayed two nights at first and then returned 4 days later for another night. Both rooms were wonderful — clean, spacious, kitchenette, good bed, nice bath. All staff were friendly and helpful. Good location — go west on Quebec street for close restaurants.

We, My Wife and I, along with the other couple we found that the BW Inner Harbour was a great place and the service was excellent. We could not have made a better choice to stay at, the location was close to all sites we wanted to visit. The personnel at the Best Western were extremely helpful. Great location as just 3 minutes from Provincial Legislature, BC Museum and Inner Harbour shopping and restaurants. Full morning breakfast is a treat, especially as nearby eateries only open after 10:00 a. M. Room came with a mini kitchen: stove, fridge, etc. And cutlery for 4. Outdoor heated pool, sauna, stream room and exercise studio make the hotel a complete, great package. Only issue is no A/C and during a heat wave one table fan was not ideal.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had a good variety but most important for us was how close the hotel was to the wharf. Less than a ten minute walk to the water and 15 to the downtown.

My wife and I stayed on Saturday night so we could go on a pub crawl with the local harbor ferry. We found this place to be in a great and central location, with most attractions within walking distance. The room was clean with ample space and even a small kitchen tucked around the corner. The partial view was excellent and couldn't be better unless the city cut down the trees in front but we wouldn't want that. Only issue that I have is the price, pretty expensive but I guess that what's expected in Victoria during the summer and that's why we don't do this very much. Recommended.

This hotel is modern, clean, has fabulously comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms and delicious complimentary breakfasts. Internet use was easy & quick. We took advantage of the breakfasts each day & found the staff to be polite, helpful & professional. The location was great, walking distance to everything we wanted. The surrounding area was quiet and the hotel itself well maintained. We will definitely be staying here again & have already shared our very positive experience with family & friends.

Very helpful staff, notably April at the front desk. Clean rooms, dated but comfortable with interior seating area and balconies with seating outside as well. Good internet. Spa and sauna facilities along with heated pool. Views of the harbour and an adjacent park. Centrally located in easy walking distance to the BC museum, government and business districts along with shopping, restaurants and bars. Nice buffet breakfast included with the room.

Truly the perfect experience in every way! A+ staff in all areas (Desk, administrative, house keeping and dining! ). The room with a partial harbor view was ideal! Great space, clean, neat, nothing lacking! Exceptional location and convenient to everything. Felt so welcome and at home. This was our second time there in 8 months with good reason. Will always stay at this hotel when in Victoria. No reason to try to find a better combination of property and service; would be nearly impossible. Our humble thanks to the entire staff who made our anniversary trip one we will always cherish!

We stayed in this hotel to celebrate new year. It was a very good experience. Nice hotel, nice room, and delicious breakfast. Most of the attractions are near to the hotel. It was freezing cold and we were happy that we could enjoy the fireworks right from our hotel room balcony. Very neat and clean. Thumbs up.

We had a wonderful time! Everyone was so helpful and considerate. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and have already recommended it to other family members. It is also convenient, t if you are coming on the Clipper.

We had a great weekend at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour. It is in a perfect location, within easy walking distance of the bus station, Inner Harbour, Fisherman's Wharf, the Royal BC Museum and Beacon Hill Park and the bus to Butchart Gardens. The room was spacious and clean with a strong Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful — perfect three days.

Fantastic place to stay! Close to everything so ditch the car and enjoy the walk. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return again in the near future.

Decent downtown hotel, clean and good location, had swimming pool (outdoor) and exercise center. Don't mind the ambulances parked there as BC ambulance uses the hotel as it's only station in downtown Victoria (yes, really). Overall: recommended.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Clean rooms and if you can book it a lovely view Harbour side. We like the breakfast variety and look forward to staying here again.

The Best Western Plus Inner Harbour was highly recommended to us by several people. We were very comfortable at the hotel and hope to return for longer stays during future winters.

We really enjoyed this hotel. From the moment we checked in, until we left, six weeks later, we had a great experience. The staff is so very helpful, friendly and efficient, from the front desk staff to the people in the breakfast room, and the ladies who took care of our room. Our studio room was very comfortable with a magnificent view of the harbour and a well equipped kitchen. Meeting fellow travelers in the breakfast room was very nice… we all exchanged travel and activity tips for the Victoria area. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of most downtown attractions. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Best Western Inner Harbour from February 14-19. We arrived very early on February 14. They were very accommodating to us as they allowed us to leave our luggage to take in the sights. When we arrived back and our room was ready. Very pleasant staff, the building was very clean and our room was much bigger than some other Best Western's we have stayed in. We had a wonderful view of the Inner Harbour and even though there was construction going on, the noise itself never bothered us. They provide a full breakfast, eggs whether it was scrambled, or omelets and they always had hard boiled eggs. They had either turkey or pork sausage which was also tasty. If you wanted pancakes they were available every day. Toast, bagels, pastries and fruit was offered every day. If you wanted hot or cold cereal you could have that also. Drinks included coffee, milk, orange or apple juice. You could not possibly go hungry. Oh, did I mention that this is included in the cost of the room. No need to worry about not having a car, everything is close by. Its a wonderful city to visit and a beautiful hotel to stay in.

This is my second time at Best Western inner harbour and it was exactly like the first… excellent! Location is great, easy access to everything I go to Victoria for. Rooms and amenities are great, staff are very helpful and friendly no matter what hour. I am already looking forward to my next stay! Thanks Best Western!

We love this hotel. We travel to Victoria yearly (if not more) for my husband's medical care. The staff are the BEST! They genuinely care about their guests and do everything they can to ensure a great experience. It was nice to see the same familiar faces at check in. The complimentary breakfast is very good and the young fellow (I understand he was training) was also very helpful. Keep up the good work. We'll be back.

Our tour of Victoria, was there for three nights. The hotel's all good. The front Desk staff were very friendly and thoughtful. Room modern, very clean. Location from city centre, very close, we Park in (fees) underground Parking lot, on foot can go to the city centre to all sites. (Free) Breakfast, but very adequate. Definitely coming back to stay. Can at the front Desk for your free newspaper. Equipped with an indoor Jacuzzi tub, but we didn't use.

We stayed here early August. Great location, one block from the harbour and close to downtown. We had a room on ground floor, facing garden. Very private and quiet. Lovely private patio. Enjoyed the heated pool. We were very comfortable in the room. Bed very comfortable, with lovely linens. Lovely kitchenette and everything we needed in room. Full complimentary breakfast served in bright breakfast solarium. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved our stay.

Wow — this hotel is the best inner harbour gem! What a wonderful experience we had here: from the check-in with incredibly friendly and funny staff, Craig and Lee, to the spotlessly clean and beautiful room. We loved it and are so glad we chose this hotel during our DT Victoria stay. It is located right on the inner harbour – perfect location, close to everything. We live in Victoria but needed to be right downtown for an event, and this hotel was everything we needed and more. We had their breakfast in the morning – absolutely a ton of choices and great layout. And the women hosting was so nice to us! Everyone seems to really enjoy their jobs and that positive attitude made our stay even better. They have a great gym onsite, but we didn’t have time to use it (next time), as well as a whirlpool room too. The outdoor pool looked so inviting the whole time we were there that we almost wished we could miss the event just to float around! Can’t wait for another excuse to come and stay here! Thanks to the great staff!

Walked in 5 minutes before the wife is to check in two of our crew (did I mention we race sailboats and come over every year? ). "have you seen a Blonde women with a dog come in here.? ". Three guys behind the counter. "Nope, we're not that friendly". What's that suppose to mean. They don't like blondes, they don't like dogs, they don't like blondes with dogs.?. I Leave and walk across the street to our Hotel. She arrives 5 minutes later (leaves the dog outside). They can't find her reservation. Takes 5 minutes and finally finds it under PJ Pentz instead of BJ Pentz. Is this rocket science. Reservations were made directly with hotel. Not expedia etc. Frustrating to get a attitude during reservations. And then the counter people can't find it. Why are we working so hard.

It's simply perfect! This Best Western is even better than an officially "four-star" hotels. Excellent breakfast, highly recommend. Staff are outstanding, rooms are very well thought through and perfectly taken care of. Plus, you get an access to a beautiful balcony with a panoramic view. Wonderful experience.

3 stars says it all, It was Okay. No problems with cleanliness, friendliness of the staff or the room itself. I found a little expensive too but the problem was street noise. Ive stayed in many busy, city locations, they make windows for that. When I pay a lot of money to to basically "sleep" it's nice to be able to sleep. But again, nice place.

Like most retired seniors my wife and I are always looking for good value while traveling. We probably spend more time in the rooms than the younger generation. We carry tablets for reading and keeping in touch so Wi-Fi is a must. Our check list of amenities include, hot breakfast, refrigerator, microwave, and of course a coffee maker. We do a lot of research, reading reviews from several different resources, and normally our picks are pretty darn spot on. Best Western Inner Harbor is in easy walking distance of the ferry and attractions. We brought our car this trip, but left it mostly in the secured underground parking, which was clean and lots of space. I might add the 2 elevators go from the parking straight to the floor your room is on, which was nice. The hotel itself in on a tree lined street which is curb appeal superb. Our check in was fast, friendly, and very welcoming. From first appearance you could just tell this was a well maintained property. Our room (a queen suite) was clean, very quiet, and comfortable. We had an outside deck, that you could step out on, and windows that opened enough to let fresh air in at night. There was no AC, but with the tree lined street, I don't think that would ever be a problem. The TV had plenty of channels to watch and I might add, I've never stayed at a hotel that had that many stations to choose from plus there was internal guides right on the TV.

My wife and I took a quick trip to Victoria and needed a place to stay near the port. Although the room rates seemed high for our standards, it was one of the best compared to similar hotels in the area. We encountered about 3 different desk clerks in our 24 hour visit and they were all super friendly and very accommodating, answering any questions we had about the area, organizing cab service, and also holding our luggage for a bit after our checkout time. For me, this type of customer service can really make a place stand out. The room itself was very clean and had some extra kitchen amenities that you don't normally see in standard rooms and although we didn't use them, it would be nice for anyone that has a more extended stay. They also had a complimentary breakfast bar which most Best Westerns offer and it had everything you would expect. Overall, we had a very pleasant time in Victoria and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient location and friendly service.

This is great place to stay. When we came to Victoria we found out there was the Car Show. Staff let us see cars parked in the hotel garage before the actual event so that was nice. Great location, we could walk everywhere and see all we wanted without using car; very close to all city attractions. Our room had everything we needed — nice design, big, comfortable beds, great view (7th floor) and its own small kitchen which was good because we could get coffee without going downstairs or asking for it. Actually I didn't manage to wake up for breakfast but my brother told me he liked it :) So I can recommend this place; we had very good time in Victoria (what a nice city, one more point for that! :) ).

After few years we revisited beautiful Victoria and stayed at Inner Harbour Best Western again — this time for 3 nights. The hotel is excellently located, close to everything, even grocery shopping. Thrifty Foods is just 4 blocks away. We love Victoria's restaurants but sometimes prefer to make our own dinners since we enjoy eating on the balcony with such a lovely view over the Victoria's harbour. Entering the lobby we've noticed that the hotel has been renovated and upgraded. The entire lobby was rebuilt and the back wall changed into an elegant blue glass art piece. Awesome! The spacious and very clean room furnished with comfortable bed provided a great night rest. Renovated bathroom and kitchenette are now very contemporary and elegant with granite counter-tops and new cabinetry. The big plus was the breakfast buffet with the most choice of food we've ever seen in Best Westerns. Even though the hotel was full due to a car show that was taking place in Victoria that weekend, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the Inner Harbour Best Western was again an excellent choice and we will definitely stay there next time we visit Victoria.
