We had a lovely stay! The views of the Harbour were very nice to wake up to, and the historical building was so quaint. Absolutely coming back.

Very displeased! We are from the Cariboo which is currently undergoing extensive fires and evacuations and alerts. We booked 4 nights and asked to leave one day early and go home tomorrow to get home due to the fires and get some personal belongings from our home and were told absolutely nothing they would do even considering we have a natural disaster at home. They wouldn't even take a cancellation fee. Flat out no we pay full price. No heart and very disheartening. Place is older and rooms older but nice area. Okay stay but customer service not okay. I never leave negative feedback and I am very sorry but that is cruel considering our area is up in flames. 😥

Check in was great, and the room was just okay considering the price (although I realize it’s peak season in a tourist town). The walls and floors are very thin — we could hear the people above us listening to music, yelling and stomping around. They also dumped beer and beer cans over their balcony onto our balcony below. The hotel claims there is a noise curfew of 10pm but the office closes at 9pm so there is no one to enforce it.

Had a lovely stay here. Highly recommend. The rooms are clean, updated and comfortable. I like the option of room rate based on double occupancy because a group of 2 in a room vs 6 in a room shouldnt have to pay the same. I liked how we had that option. The views were stunning and the stave were super accomodating. The main important thing was the cleanliness which they had accomplished. Tip: book much in advance as summertime in Ukee is super busy.

Our experience wasn’t lovely unfortunately.
We pulled up and I went to check in. To our dismay, I was informed that my family of six (4 small kids) would have to pay an extra 15 per night / per person. We had planned to stay three nights, but on top of the already 1, 140 for three nights they wanted another 240. I asked if I could cancel my reservation and they said I could, but I’d have to pay for my first night (440 after taxes) keep in mind… this is a very run down old hotel.
I politely declined as we didn’t have money to pay for two hotels. I decided to instead only stay two nights instead of three as I couldn’t afford to pay 1410+ for 3 nights.
Once we arrived in our room, we were met with a dirty towel (mud or dirt all over it), cleaning supplies and there was squished crackers on the bed. We immediately called and asked if it was possible to move us to another room. They promptly did and once we finally got the key, we tried to open the door but it wouldn’t open, so we had to make a third trip back to the office.
We got into our room and it smelled moldy and felt very dated.
I will say, the bathroom was lovely, but the room is pretty outdated. We got all our kids to finally sleep and we realized the walls were paper thin. So thin we could hear conversations of the people next to us, their newborn crying (as if he was in our room) I’ve never been in a hotel with such thin walls.

Great location and accommodation in Ukee!

Michelle was awesome! She was very knowledgeable about the area and where to eat. Checked us in quick. Would definitely stay again.

We just checked in here for four nights. Never did we think that we would be charge for our entire stay upon check-in. This has NEVER happened to me in my entire life. And when my husband came out to the car after checking us in, to let us know that our kids and I could now unload and put our belongings in our room, and he told me that he was charged for our stay in full, I was aghast. What?! It took me a few minutes to process this, for, as I’ve mentioned, this has never been a practice of other hotels—from small, independent hotels to large discount chains or luxury hotels.
Settled into our two-level room at $487/night (tax incl), we looked up their rates policy, and the only thing we could find is that they charge a resort fee (resort? ), and a deposit on the card. Nothing about charging the full price upon check in.

Very kind and accommodating staff. Staff member Michele at the front desk was more than willing to make accomodations for my injured mother without being asked. Excited for the rest of our stay!

I came here twice. Once 25 years ago and once 23 years ago. It's such an incredible memory. Pete was the man in our boat. He was amazing! Helped me catch a 40 pound halibut! I was only 10 :) I also remmeber an amazing resturant nearby that I cant remmeber the name of. I wish I had a better memory but it was the best seafood I had ever had. … Sad to hear the ship is gone. It was such an amazing experience. Cant wait ti share this experience with my kids some day. And if anyone knows of the resturant! Please tell me! It was ON the water, had a pretty big dining room, was up a little hill, and I think was next to a playground. Maybe.
Ugh memories, however faint they may be!

Stayed here last night with my parents. I got the King Bed in the loft upstairs. Very comfy and the pillows/bedding was perfect for me. Had a beautiful view and got some great shots.
Only negative points are the thin walls, the noisy pocket door to the bathroom, and the dense fog in the morning (kidding about the fog).

Only nice thing about this hotel was the view, hair all over the beds, bathroom, very unfriendly man did not want to give us two more mugs or towels there was four of us sisters in the room, not very clean at all.

Excellent & classic Canadian activity — ocean fishing & accommodation in a real ship. Been years, but I recall so much fun on the ocean catching salmon & cod. If lucky even go for halibut. Highly recommend this trip for an unique adventure.
