The location is amazing. Near everything that you need to be in walking distance. Parking is small minor issue but, you'll always find parking on the side streets. The manager was also kind of enough to change our rooms from the sub-basement to a regular room. You get your own keys to the main door and your door. Room service does a great job of cleaning up.

Very good location. Everything near, city centre, old port of Montreal, cafes and restaurants. Windows don't open, only air conditioning. Breakfast include only croissant small coffee and the same size juice. Maximum price of such breakfast is 5$, but not a 15 as it is.

It's good for the price. Yeah the bathroom is small but if you just need an inexpensive place to stay while you go out and explore the town look no further. Parking is available with a deposit which you collect once you leave.

Price 75$ weell is aceptable hot water takes time to come out. Clean yes towel yes. Discreet yes. But be carefully there is no air-conditioning so could be so so hot is you are think to bring somebody. Window small! No breakfast for now.

Well placed like many other tiny rooms hotels and especially do not be worn on hygiene. Hairs, traces and hair including in the breakfast room the landlady tried to sell us a more expensive room on arrival frankly an address not to be redone… For QQ euros More there is frankly better.

The room that we stayed in was alright if you're only looking for a cheap hotel to stay in to. Wasn't really big fan of the hotel itself, would recommend it to people who are only staying in for a night.

Location is amazing and conditional free parking. Place was undergoing renovations and front desk service was sketchy.

Everything is just fine. Parking might be a little bit tricky but 150$ including taxes for 2 nights is good. We were barely in the room so the rooms were pretty basic. It's just fine.

Receptionist is a little useless, tried to charge us twice and was difficult to get him to fox the situation. Was not listening and when he finally did agree that he was wrong the credit card machine was not working so we had to wait for a while. The service was not great, and I wouldn't recommend staying here simply based on the receptionist.

Great place close to the town center but brekfest… it is a joke!

Very simple hotel that needs to be refreshed and soundproofing. The sounds of the surrounding rooms cross the walls. It is necessary to present at the reception to do this to dispense its breakfast: croissant of the supermarket, juice and small black coffee.

Staff not very friendly, a few people are there. Breakfast, Old Montreal nearby. Rooms not very clean, you feel suffocated, hard to breathe (surely dust). The prices are not too expensive compared to other hotels but it's not worth more. Very disappointed.

The rooms are small and the bedding feels something old and used.

A little dirty the hallway and my room had a strange smell between paint and insecticide…

Place is OK if you are looking for a one or two nights sleep. Building is old as expected and it lacks some maintenance. Breakfast is very simple, but that was also expected. Positive highlight is the staff. They are helpful and friendly.

It is a place that is for what it is one night stay clean A/C cable and Heating and Breakfast.

I am still staying here as I write this… So far it has been very good. The only hiccup was the front desk clerk who treated us very poorly when we arrived to check in. But, she has since made good effort to make it up to us. I will re-rate when we leave. The rooms were clean, the price was right, we are within walking distance of several fun areas.

It is well in hotel, just needs some maintenance.

As someone said in previous comments, THIS PLACE GETS THE JOB DONE! It is not a 5star hotel, the room is small, the bathroom and shower is small, it has a stuffy smell in the room, it is simple. The reason it gets four out of five stars is because of the staff and service. They are super accommodating from allowing us to leave our luggage in their office both when we got there and on our last day (arrived at 8am and had to wait to check in at 2pm, check out at 11am and bus was to leave at 11:30pm). Some big fancy hotels don't even give you a glass of water. Hotel Viger gave us coffee, orange juice and a croissant every morning. On the last day, my girlfriend and I decided we wanted to sleep in and they allowed us to pay a little over $60 US to stay a whole other night if we wanted to. Room was clean everyday, if we needed extra towels and what not we got it, it is located near everything you need to be around to enjoy Montreal, it got the job done. I would definitely use their services again.

Gets the job done! Really small rooms but it's able to fit the bed (s) and that's what matters most! Given the lack of space, I'm very appreciative that they decided to provide a nice sized restroom. One of our towels was stained brown and another had a hole, which made the place feel a bit more questionable. However, overall they provide a clean atmosphere that's great for the price and location.

While we were out, they installed and turned on an air conditioner while servicing the room on a multiple day stay. The breakfast was also a croissant, with coffee and orange juice. It's a lovely little place with parking and comfy beds. All of this is positive. Great place to stay, pretty great location as well.

Very very good for the price if some one wants chal hotel in montreal go for this… ambience was not great but its good for price.

Excellent customers service and location, a few blocks away of Old Montreal. Very old facilities and sloppy cleaning, after the second night we still found trash from previous guests. Brreakfast is just a tray with coffe, orange juice milk and a croissant, which we saw a box full of them among other big boxes of storage in a hallway. Parking is $15/night in a open municipal lot 3 blocks away with no surveillance.

I came from Gatineau with my boyfriend to party one last time with his friend before he leaves. We had a welcoming staff! We had a clean & spacious room. The bed was nice. We left in the morning after we had a nice little breakfast. Coffee & croissant.

Decent for the price. Rather small room. Breakfast is just a croissant with drinks. The paid parking is 2 blocks away. Close to lots of bars/restaurants though. Cheapest in the area.

The hotel was great. The staff was amazing. The rooms were always clean. Yes the rooms are small but you pay for what you get and from the money we saved we've spend it on entertainment and restaurants. We had no problems of anything being stolen (we've left nothing in the car to grab attention). 2 minute walk from St. Catherine street. It's a great location to go and visit.

Wonderful little bed and breakfast. Very nice helpful staff. We stay here every time we go to Montreal. Very close to the metro locations and a nice walk down to old Montreal. We had no problems with anything being stolen but then again we were smart enough not to leave anything in the car. Its like downtown Toronto you don't wanna leave stuff in the car. Yes there are homeless people everywhere in Montreal no matter where you stay that you will encounter but they keep to themselves they do not bother you at all. We also had no problems with the internet at all. From reading some of these reviews people obviously want to pay next to nothing to get an expensive hotel. This is exactly what you pay for. A small room. Cleaned every day. Great staff and continental breakfast. It was perfect for a place to sleep while being out ALL day site seeing around the city. The money we saved getting a "small room" we got to spend it on food, entertainment etc. All in all a great experience.

For this price a fine hotel. Well situated on walking distance from tge centre. Very nice employees. It was however a very small room and the internet connection was poor.

Sure it's a great location. If you like beggars, homeless people, strung out folks on stoops, dark alleys, and your stuff being stolen (like the $2000 worth of camera equipment I had) from your car. Not a good location if you have anything of value with you while you travel and you don't carry a gun. pay the extra and find yourself a secure hotel with a nice parking garage.

Located a good place and very good price except that room service was not very adequate, with cloth inchangees, a room that is arranged when l asked in short I would give a score of 5/10.

The people working were very nice and spoke English well (they was also patient with my pathetic French, which was generous). They gave you croissants or a muffin and tea or coffee every morning — obviously from a grocery store / industrially manufactured, but still a nice touch. The rooms were clean. It's a little bit off the beaten path, about a 7-10 minute walk to the nearest business district. There was also a communal computer with internet access and a communal mini-fridge. None of our food was stolen :-).
