One word: disgusting. Literally looks worst than a homeless shelter. When they showed me the room I walked in, looked around for 2.5 seconds and had to get out. It was dirty dans old. You'd have to pay me to stay there a night. The carpet had stains all over and the walls were moldy. The worst part was they wanted me to pay 215$ for the night. They knew it was a busy weekend in montreal and that all hotels were full so they tried to take advantage. I was so insulted and the owner did not understand why I seemed so furious when I told him I was leaving. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Pretty sure it's not legal to ask people to pay a single dime to stay in such a dirty place. A health inspection should be done asap.

Worst experience ever. The room might be dirty I understand. Small washroom totally which is totally fine. I traveled more than 70 countries and had some bad experiences but those were in Africa (btw I love Africa). The A/C was bot working at all. It was really hot and A/C was making lots of sounds as of it is working. I have tried everything to solve the problem but nothing happened. Anyway I would prefer to spend 10 more bucks and stay in a better hotel. Cheers. F.

Very bad experience. The first room was filthy. The second least worse but far from being clean. Moreover, the receptionist tried to steal me $50 because according to him I smoked in the room while I am not a smoker. He called me a liar and a fat cow. I had to make a complaint and open procedures with my credit card company. I am seized with being treated that way. It's a scam and a blatant disrespect.

Love this hotel. It's old but clean. Location excellent. Staff super Friendly. By the way, they have elevator which is very helpful.

A horror. Miniature and cold room. A 20-minute wait for hot water. A place where the filth and the bad smells reign in master!

It really is a 1star hotel. I mean, I wouldn't stay there, it was for a friend but it just looks old with a very old TV and very basic rooms. It's like walking in a motel from the 70s. However, the staff is super friendly and the rooms looked clean and there was Wi-Fi and coffee in the morning. If you're stuck, this is a great place to stay.

Very small room, cracked walls, doors and locks do not hold, plastic windows fixed by nails and/or filled see replaced with polystyrene but otherwise the air passes as if there were none I let you imagine during the winter we were there in December is horrible, led and unfastened cables, piping not finished. On arrival we find hair on the beds, the pillows, these being very uncomfortable because they are just mattresses full of dust piled up. The heating is a shame, an old heating that the manager surely cuts all the hours because there is nothing heated, and an extra heat that sends that smells the burnt after a few minutes. The electrical plugs are very damaged and do not hold, patched up with plaster and glue. Hot water takes about 15 minutes to climb. The images on the Internet do not correspond to what is presented to us. The Asian staff hardly speaks French, and we take us for cons. There is no insulation, the floor is covered with carpet and with the plugs patched up it's scary. I could describe this "hotel" during a long core but it's on it doesn't even deserve a star, before that we were in a two star which was really better. The hotel residence of the traveller is a shame and to avoid at all costs.

To avoid. The location is may be correct, but it is the only positive thing about this hotel: small, dilapidated room, whose cleanliness is unsatisfactory (clogged sink). The reception is average. Go your way.

Room condition was not bad for one night stand as per room charge. There was no parking space for guests but they helped us to park car on the road side with no parking charge from 9pm to 7am.

A good last minute, cheap hotel.

We had a positive experience at this hotel. All services and features were as advertised. The staff were friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Street parking around the hotel is free and available 24/7, we did not have to move our vehicle for our entire stay. The subway and amenities are all within a five minute walk. Overall, this hotel was very good value and an ideal spot to enjoy visiting Montreal.

The cleanliness was not on the go!

Last resort hotel for sure! You might bet better off sleeping in the park near by. We were charged $250/night since it was Osheaga weekend for a room with 2 double beds. It's really run down, which doesn't bother me much, it was kind of funny with the mismatching bedding and weird decor. The bathroom was barely big enough for one person to be in. The shower wasn't much more than a dribble and the towels left you dirtier than you were before the shower. But the worst part about our stay was that a hotel employee followed two of my girlfriends up to our room at 4AM demanding they pay more money. (Creepy, bordering on frightening) We said we would talk to him about it at a more reasonable hour. He then proceeded to knock on other people's doors (AT 4 IN THE MORNING! ) demanding more money from everyone. Then he called our room starting at 9AM the following morning non-stop until we went down and gave him $30 more. He then said he would refund us the $30 if we gave a good review online. $30 well spend, screw that guy!

Clean comfortable rooms with a/c and a hot shower, its nothing fancy and the decor is dated but I would recommend this place for great budget hotel.

Staff was very polite and friendly. I don't get why people are complaining about the rooms being dirty, when we stayed our room was clean, the hallways and entrance was clean, our towels and blankets were clean. If you are looking for a hotel that has charm, comfort and a friendly helpful staff than this is a good hotel for you to stay in. Will stay here again and will recommend to others.

My stuff got stolen from the hotel parking which is right beside the hotel on the same night I arrived at hotel. disgusting rooms. i highly recommend not to go there.

Housing run down but clean. The daily interviews must be rough but the cleaning is done every day. The place is healthy contrary to what we could s imagine at first because of my age of the place.

Nice room, however not overly clean and smelly towels, good central location. Staff are nice and easy to speak to.

Location is great. No HOT water. Sheets are dirty, found hair in them.

The worst hotel I've seen in my life! J, traveled all over the world and I've seen hotels disappointing but however those CI the BATS all and has all the levels!
Photos of the hotel and the Web sites of the wholesalers Web site in rooms reflect in nothing the real condition of this place. Aggressive staff, little helper, hotel really too expensive for what you get etc. The only bom comment I can make is it's location. I am aware that when booking, I reserved a hotel economic however this hotel should be in crappy category. All failed in this hotel, the rooms are not dirty, they are very very dirty, mold in the lease sale, towels that sentient mold, floors quavers, elevators that if order was 8 inches above the floor, almost no water running in the shower, almost no hot water, not very accommodating staff,
FINAL COMMENT STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELLISH HOTEL OR BRING YOUR VACUUM AND 45 GALLONS OF JAVELISANT AS WELL AS SOME PUREL AND FORGET TO BRING YOUR SHEETS AND TOWELS, SOAP, THEN AGAIN FROM JAVELISANT.

Was visiting for the first time from Toronto. Old but great location, free Wi-Fi, nice breakfast, clean, the staff was VERY friendly and helpful with parking, directions, etc. Great if you're on a budget! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is near to metro, and close to US embassy and other down town area. Staff are friendly. Free Wi-Fi is good. Stayed in 5th floor. No centralised AC, instead small heater fan. Small room. Small bathroom. Water not hot, I was here in winter time, when its — 16 deg C outside. Old building. Parking on the street for free within specified timings. So be ready to move ur car to one place to another. But staff is ready to satisfy u with what they can offer. Worth the money? yes for location may be during summer.

When booking, we were guaranteed that there is a parking lot. So after 2.5 hours of search I found one for $ 45 for 2 nights. In the morning there is even no hot water. The bottom of the shower curtain was moldy. Although we had booked for 3 people there that a straight wooden chair as in schools. Air conditioning leading hell of a noise. A bath so small that even sitting we had no place to lie down legs anyway so it was not clean I wouldn't me would have sitting in there. The windows were very dirty. So for $ 140 per night don't go there

First of all, this is not a hotel! — it's a heroin addict dump! Filthy beds, dirty mattress, disgusting carpets, smelly room (weed, cigarettes, dogs). It is just DISGUSTING! I have never thought I am in a first world country when I entered the room! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL PLEASE IF YOU CARE FOR YOURSELF.

LIsten this isn't the Ritz by far. But for the price, I was very happy with the location to pretty much all that is happening in Montreal in June and August. Staff super cool, always friendly and never got frustrated with 1st interrogation of the local spots to visit. Cloce to Stcatherin, St Denis and on Sherbrooke! THANK YOU.

We had a good experience there. Hotel staff were friendly to us. They help us to find free street parking. They provide us free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. The room is not very big, but very clean. This hotel is close to subway station. We really enjoy our stay.
