Beautiful place in absolute calm. The park allows long walks. It was a pleasure to stay there. The staff is very welcoming and the gastronomic restaurant deserves a Michelin star!

Wow! so much a beautiful site! the staff is really nice, we went on a horseback ride, first ride for us on a horse, it was magical! the staff is attentive everywhere! but the décor! oufffffff! worse the evening restaurant, what I chose was really good, I loved it!

A superb place, the 5 star meals as much dinner, lunch as lunch, the site really good from one season to another and the staff worthy of great hotels, they are all as friendly as helpful, they really give the impression of loving what they do.
The rooms are ok, only place where there would be in our opinion some improvements, bed lights (cheap) coffee in the room of poor quality but for the rest nothing to say very comfortable bed, quality pillow, very clean and quiet well located (ch 33), gym very good, indoor pool really good, etc etc, I advise you and thank you from the staff I came to emphasize my 60 years, We'll meet again for sure.

Peaceful, beautiful place with a magical décor. The cross-country ski trails are very well maintained. The staff is courteous and we eat local with varied choices.

Very nice place, the lady on the phone, Martine very friendly, on the other hand the people at the reception a little cold but otherwise all the rest of the employees, at the restaurant, the stable and the dog sleds were super devoted and kind to us. Horseback riding in the trails and magical forest! Products in the shop and drinks and meals very affordable. The rink very nice and super nice and safe, the awesome tube slide. We will be going back very soon 😉

Everything was everything at our height, and all the staff on site were extraordinarily kind, the dinners were a delight, served in a beautiful atmosphere with a team of professionals determined to make us spend a pleasant stay. We had booked a Vive les vacances package for 4 nights. Room with King bed. A treat on all levels: the food is to die for 🤤, the employees and the service are super 👌 (what about Luc, at dinner, a love! ), a lot of activities on site 🏇🚣🚴, the estate is huge and beautiful 😍
Only downsides: the quality of the massages is good but not out of the ordinary.
COVID: book in advance your massages, activities, dinners, etc. This avoids unpleasant surprises. But employees will tell you!
THE NEC PLUS ULTRA: they adapt to lactose-free and gluten-free intolerances! 😳🥳 Happiness for me🥰

Unforgettable experience and stay… Everything lived up to our expectations: courteous staff, excellent local food, cleanliness of the place and concern to respect the sanitary guidelines. Good value for money.

The single trails are closed on the other hand they have developed double trails that are well maintained. A novelty (not free) we can rent fatbikes with assistance, it's really great! Landscaping called "feet in the water" were done it's really great!

The site is beautiful, nature is generous. Good table and service is very courteous. Lots of great activities for all tastes. We will definitely be back to discover the spa. Booking easily a month in advance!

Very nice place and good food!

Huge disappointment to learn once there that the spa and all saunas are closed for renovation. Frankly dishonest attitude on the part of the hostel not to warn guests at the time of their booking. Also, it is a bit of an exaggeration to charge both administration and service fees when buying a simple bottled beverage at the coffee counter (without being served at the table). Kind of detail that annoys and makes you not come back a second time, especially when you see the other prices, for example sandwiches … Everyone knows that in this kind of place, prices are always higher, but there are limits all the same, and you don't seem to care completely. Evening meal: uneven. The vegetable menu (seitan), at high price, is archi salty, has been marinated in a shady sauce, and I'm not talking about its texture, close to the sponge. In the end, very little stewing. Fortunately, the rooms are nice and comfortable, but it's clearly not enough to justify your prices. (I made these comments on Google. Your answer, reduced to a minimum ("we are sorry") saws me in two so it is easy and without real attention to your customers).

I recommend especially not to the sugar shack! $ 80 for 2 person it is exaggerated and the quality is ordinary and one is flat that is half empty should always ask for more this is annoying and very satisfactory for the price and the more one eats cold and toest of dry bread you will forget that its in the future!

I have more than 40 years, I have visited a lot of place and by far the Sack the surclasses of far away… a perfect score. Welcome, service, room, pool, spa and the food… To tell the truth my only point negative is that I never want to leave.

Superb quiet site where you can relax and enjoy the many activities on offer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A restaurant is available on site for both lunch and dinner with a menu however a little limited.

Beautiful hostel, but for healthy people only! Considering that all this found at an average 15 minutes walk, the SPA really small, not against perfect eaten level from lunch to dinner, kudos to the friendliness of the staff, rooms or accommodation was really dark, I think it's better from the renovated side.

Been going here for a number of years now for a work event and they are always friendly and accommodating.

What can I say? Meal EXCELLENT service just as excellent. For the rest, room ok. Correct location. Price too expensive for the place.

A rather pleasant setting but there is a smell of egouts regularly outside. Nice room but for 2 people maximum. At 3 we don't move in the room anymore. Good food but very expensive.

Superb and huge resort area where we had an exceptional time. Even if everything was complete, we almost think we're alone. The boar at the guest table is simply sublime not to mention the rest of what was served to us. By bike, by canoe, on our feet we only touched a small part of all the trails. The only downside found is that the trails are little or not identified so a gps may be needed so the site is great.

Beautiful resort located in the middle of nature.
Some rooms have not yet been renovated, the décor dates a bit but it is very clean.
The restaurant is fantastic. There are many free or paid activities. But the buildings for the activities are quite distant. 15 min walk to the SPA from our building.

Nice little Relaxation Center, nice staff, facilities are nice. Attention on the other hand, it is a small center of relaxation, the atmosphere is really at the rendezvous.

The massages are bofs. Big Flats. The baths are all small minis. Four maximins almost. But beautiful location is La Mauricie!

The location is amazing! It's hidden away far from civilization. Lots of beautiful trails, horseback riding, activities for all the family. 4 star service, great spacious rooms. But there is so much to do around, there's no time to stay in and enjoy a hot whirlpool bath.

What a dream landscape! I love the cross-country trails, the skating on the river, the racket in this scenery so varied. So many opportunities to take beautiful pictures.
One day they will realize that many of their trail signs are being erased.

The place is very beautiful, but not enough to use to serve us … late for the dinner he told us to go have a drink at the bar but the person who comes to us or even … 30 minutes after we are told that its the time and we never had a server to take a drink. It takes a massage … out of the massage we do say sorry we're close … while not a relaxation after the massage and not a spa … plus I was told at booking that I will have ac… access to the spa ordinary. Another thing … he put the tip on the bill without anything we ask … sorry but if I have no service I'll decide the tip as you go … So first and last time I'm going to and no recommendation even if the place is very beautiful.

La chambre a besoin d'être rafraichie (lévier craquer, tache de rouille sur la céramique, serviettes en train de s'efflocher, bouton de lumière craquer, etc. ). Chambre bien insonorisée et lit propre et confortable. Service à la clientèle très ordinaire (décevant). Le déjeuner (buffet) était bon et varié. Le massage était excellent! Les spas manquent d'intimité. Nous avons attendu 15 minutes au restaurant aur l'heure du dîner et personne nous a apporté le menu. Le souper était correct, un peu décevant pour le prix. Le service n'était pas extraordinaire encore une fois, on mentionne une intolérance allimentaire à l'entrée et on nous sert un dessert avec cet alliment à l'intérieur. Dans l'ensemble ça manque d'amour, de finition. Beaux sentiers pour la randonnée. Comme c'était frisquet, on utilisait la voiture entre les différents batiments (chambre, restaurant déjeuner, salle à manger pour le souper, spa, etc. ) 10-15 minutes de marches entre chaque batiments.

Our stay at Le Baluchon was nice. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The area is also very nice. We had a 3 course dinner that was good but a bit overpriced (57$ plus tax for a vegetable cream, gnocchi and a brownie). The room that we stayed in was nice and very clean but also overpriced (300$ for one night).

Very disappointing wedding. My husband and I chose this place because having gone 2 nights 2 years ago, we had enjoyed our stay. During the wedding, the guinea fowl was good but the beef was dry during the supper. The plan of the place is not clear, at the level of the organization of the marriage and the movements, we are a little left to ourselves… Some guests had trouble finding the place of ceremony. The kitchen people threw the remaining cake believing that it was the old remaining of a previous wedding and as we have little tasted the cake, we would have liked to keep it to eat it at our 1 year of marriage, but not possible, we will not ask the pastry To make us sth. The wine served was not so good apparently. They served Portobello mushrooms to my 2 vegetarian friends when I had clearly specified gnocchi… The place and the scenery is superb, it is certain, but personally a little disappointed of the rest… I don't think I was returning to this place to have known… Difficulty with travelling by carriage and car, organization a little deficient and complicated. The place of ceremony and the reception room are far away and there can only be 1 or 2 cars maximum instead of ceremony… For the price, we expected better. The Sunday brunch was good and varied.

To be going more than once with a group of cousins I can say that it is a very beautiful place! The site is rustic and has small trails that you can explore! The food is excellent and the buffet! The care is for the most part of the time very well too! The bistro where we can have a beer and a snack is nice! The winter, cross-country ski trails are very well maintained! In short, a fine site to discover!

I just visited the woods and park behind the hotel, but it is a Very Very nice place for a long walk. Walk along the river, or in the woods, very pleasant and gorgeous views. About 8$ per person, Dogs are allowed. I definitely suggest to try this place. Very enjoyable and very quiet. I love it.

Room nerdy glasses, dirty in room, bed uncomfortable, no HD TV or dvd blu Ray, controller, TV will not ctf, not, fan balance so much that it will fall… And the breakfast is NOT free! When you call the front desk to inform them of our disappointment, they say that all rooms are identical and have been "updated". They offer us a suite for$ 100 more the night otherwise no solution to our dissatisfaction. In short, we will not return here, there are so many other place more enjoyable to stay! Go to Saccacomie to the place, just next door!

Absolutely fantastic, one of the best places I've stayed. Great accommodations, excellent spa, tons of things to do.

The backpack is a resort complex offering a wide range of services. The hostel offers nice rooms and excellent meals. You can receive massages; There is a spa; can there be riding and many other activities in any season. You can also take a meal in a restaurant that is simpler than the dining room.

We did activities, like dog sleighing and horse riding. The dog sleighing was fun, but the guide was bad. I enjoyed Le Baluchon Éco-villégiature, but not loved it.

The service was courteous and professional. The rooms were well equipped and very clean. The site was simply enchanting and wonderful!

Great 4 course supper. Beautiful location.

We had a package stay: 1 night, 1 breakfast and a supper, 25.26 June.
We had requested a room with a shower, because my wife has MS and is in a wheelchair. We were disappointed when we arrived
because we couldn't go, directly with our car to the front door of the home, or the restaurant for lunch. I had to force to push the wheelchair in the gravel, especially to go back to the car. I also had difficulty to get to the hostel from our room because there were 2 successive doors to push. We have succeeded in entering of going backwards. This was the same problem for access to indoor and outdoor spas. We were told it was relatively suitable, I think you would benefit has installed automatic doors and put at the same level thresholds.
We enjoyed good food and hiking on the ramps adjusted on along the river. You have an enchanting site. For fishing enthusiasts, there could be adapted and ready of fishing equipment access. You could offer a ride to cart your free site. You may be entitled to grants for the adaptation of your buildings?
I hope that these comments will be helpful to other people with reduced mobility, easy access to your beautiful facilities.
