My husband and I stayed 3 days on our honeymoon and were very impressed.
The hotel is very large, entirely wooden, with furnishings perfectly in line with the hotel and the place, very cozy with a nice fire at the entrance.
Very attentive and prepared staff, really great food with local dishes. Breakfast also offers different variety of choices.
Beautiful also the spa area with swimming pools both indoors and outdoors, both hot and cold, sauna and steam bath.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view of Lake Sacacomie on which you can do several activities: kayaking, canoeing, pedal boat or motorboats as we did. A truly magical and evocative place, immersed in the beautiful Canadian nature! Super recommended.

Worst hotel. We arrived at 11:30 at night. We did 3 rooms before we fell on a good one. Lack of bed, a dirty room. Employee who found the situation funny, gave us the wrong directions to get to the rooms. 2 lunch for $63. A real scam.

High-end resort hotel about 2h from Montreal. Was there for a small conference and it was well suited for it with a large meeting hall and large adjoining patio overlooking the lake. Would imagine it would make an excellent wedding venue. Complete with massive spa with multiple indoor and outdoor hotubs and saunas that were clean and well-maintained. Could use a fitness room though. Delicious food (notably their breakfast) and service was friendly and bilingual. Rooms were large and most if not all have a patio.

Really beautiful place to discover. The log building is very beautiful. The food is always good. Very good service of employees. Nice view of the lake.

Amazing wood fortress overlooking Lake Sacacomie and its hillsides. Inside you're greeted to an amazing fireplace and friendly staff. The rooms are quaint and modest with an amazing view. The spa is simply amazing and activities are plentiful! Would definitely recommend. And yes there's no TV at this hotel, pretty sure you won't die!

3rd time in my life and always amazed
A fabulous place, in nature, forests and lakes, routes to do over 65 km and incredible a beach down the hotel in front of Lake Sacacomie! Welcome to the professional reception, but not a place of discussion various they are too busy. We had a large room with two double beds, shower and jaccuzzi, coffee machine, bedding, sheets, linen, various care products, finally really perfect and cleanly flawless. View of the forest and the lake. In the evening included in the half-board booking a 4-course meal. Fresh, inventive cuisine, excellent in colour and taste. The wine list is varied. The service is perfect, professional and it takes the time to help you, serve and talk about life. The perfect night in peace. And the superb breakfast. I dream that one thing if life will allow me to return to Quebec is to go there for several nights and make wonderful walks in the forests. Check with the hotel there are plenty of forp-ups to stay in… smaller rooms, larger rooms, lake views, half-board, etc. Thank you all!

We did not get the room booked (FIR view instead of Lake view). Tiny pool. No pressure in the shower. New years organized in a cold room. Zero animation. Positives: excellent snowmobile and sled dog.

Catering and impeccable service but welcoming a person responsible for the reception on our arrival on December 26th 2017 absolutely pitiful, (he made us pass for fools, terrible for a 4 star hotel! ) I don't know his name, but the direction will identify it through the date…
Plus bedding and barely worth a Motel 6 and I'm nice.
Really bad because it all has to be a nice place, that's why I put it 3 star and not 4 like it this sale…

Beautiful landscapes. GEOS Spa: very good except the massage service. Disappointing massage with pressure points (relaxing massage request). In addition, obligation to take a man and a woman for massage in duo. We are told that it is discriminatory, that otherwise it is not a massage.
Customer service at reception quite mediocre. No listening to the customer. Music at the bar and in the kitchen until late at night. It's hard to sleep. No TV or fridge. Resto: very well in General apart from the carrot cake which is actually a very dry vanilla cake. Disappointing value for money.

Quiet rooms, well insulated for privacy (we think alone in this hotel), comfortable beds, bubble bath indoors. The restaurant really classy, the food is very good, a little expensive and especially that the portions are not always generous so necessarily an aperitif and an entrance to predict. I go back to the occasion, either for the rooms or the restaurant. A beautiful place to recommend!

We’re back from a one night stay at hotel Sacacomie and are mitigated about our stay. We did get that this is an hotel designed for the rustic experience, but for the price, we were kind of expecting a lot more for the room (see explanation lower). The hotel and grounds are unique. The hotel has a special location on a hillside and is designed in a way that you can enjoy the breathtaking view while attending the spa, enjoying a drink at the bar, terrace or enjoying one of their mouth watering meals at the restaurant. The lobby is impressive with the big fireplace right at the entrance. It smells so good! There are also a lot of mounted animals on the walls which is kind of interesting because you don’t get to see a lot of those when you live in the city. We would have appreciated that the animals were identified though. The room was our big disappointment. When we booked the room, we asked for the standard room, one king size bed and the lake view (which is more expensive than the forest view). On the internet site of the hotel, the image of the room was a two double bed room with a sliding door where you can access a balcony. The room we got was in the main building, and the definition of lake view was very stretched, as we got a small room not much bigger than a pantry, with one double bed and a small window that have more of a roof view than a lake view.

Rustic romantic lodge on a secluded, pristine and scenic lake. Very attentive staff specializing in french and english languages.

Wonderful location on a beautiful lake. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Very nice experience.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in my life. The spa is very nice and relaxed. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is excellent and the food is very good.

The place is very beautiful, directly on the lake, many activities possible. Rooms are good, clean, comfortable beds, nice views on the lake. Breakfast is all you can wish for. Only minus was the evening dinner, bit heavy and overcooked. Not that bad, but I would have expected better, considering all the other great stuff. Don't forget to visit the Geos Spa.

Too bad it was a very good school, but there has been a lot of change, I hope that reason will prevail to save the historic image of the establishment!

Was an experience family unforgettable, never thought that there was a place wonderful, 100% in contact with the nature, recommend Sacacomie.

Upon arrival, no one to take the luggage, I note that this is a 4 star! About the rooms: very small for a suite, not up to our expectations. Small bed, old furniture and primary. Convicted fireplace which is not specified at the time of booking or on the site. We would have taken a standard room. The shower is a plastic cabin, surprising for a 4 star, tiny bathroom.
The restaurant: very decent but the service too slow because not enough staff who is very forced, smiling. 5: 00 impossibilitee to take a snack at the bar for children or adults returning to the activities.
Billiards and paid games to our amazement.
Activities: nothing to say they save the hotel, good coaching, very nice, friendly guides.
We will return to the site and the Skidoo to discover even more magical places.
The Hotel is maginfique in an enchanting but isn't at the height of a 4 stars.

Amazing nature and service, great rooms, even greater than expected.

The hotel looks very nice in the pictures but our stay was a nightmare. Beside the very nice countryside almost everything was not satisfying. We booked and paid our rooms in advance but apart from a bed for every person everything had to be paid aditionally. There wasn't even a TV in our room! They charge you 40$ per person, per day for the spa and breakfast only is not available. So if you dont want to drive for 1 hour to get food in the morning, youre forced to take the half board whitch is another 66$ per person per day. The staff isnt very friendly either and we didnt feel welcome at all.

Hotel Sacacomie is nestled in the picturesque Quebec countryside, overlooking a beautiful lake and vista. Aside from the bountiful natural resources this hotel profits from, there is little else to appreciate and celebrate. Deplorable service, terrible communication, and a general lack of cooperation are the characteristics that best describe Sacacomie and its management team. I recently planned and hosted an event for 300 people, which was a relative success, in spite of the hotel's best efforts to erect obstacles every step of the way. The sales office took an average of 5 weeks to answer simple questions, and forced us to change agreed-upon plans at the last minute. They shirked their accountability and attempted to blame others for their own incompetence, costing my planning committee hundreds of dollars in additional charges. Instead of helping facilitate the development of the event, the hotel negatively interfered with our efforts whenever they had the chance. Sébastien Plante (one of the owners) was rude, inflexible and had no concept of customer service. Unfortunately, most of his staff mirrored this attitude and behaviour. I strongly discourage anyone from hosting an event at this hotel. It is a real shame that such a beautiful hotel is managed by a team of inept and unprofessional individuals.

Site idyllic for rest and relaxation is, both in summer as winter, beautiful Lake and excursions to the see bears and beavers.

Very good facilities, the rooms are very welcoming, food wonderful. The spa is impressive especially the pool to outdoors when is snowy. The views are tremendous. A beautiful place to which we will return for sure.
