Fantastic motel overlooking the water (from bed! ), clean, mega breakfast — everything homemade, great staff, I love it!

The cleanliness of the trailer, the availability of the owner, the magnificent view and the proximity of Parc Forillon.

Le motel est un peu rustique. Mais le propriétaire est vraiment cool! Cest vraiment isolé comme endroit mais ca fait du bien de relaxer.

Gerant sympathique qui connait bien la region, chambres propres et fonctionnelles, situé juste a l entrée du parc. Le petit déjeuner maison est top!

Séjour 2 nuits vraiment fun.

We stayed there on July 24th and 26th. We loved it, it's like being at home. The comfort and beauty of our room… Just Wow! The welcome and talks of Alain the owner really great. ❤ What about the mom's lunches and the delicious fish soup. It was a perfect stay…

Perfect in every way!
My family and I stayed 5 nights in a rental trailer and everything was perfect! The site is huge, clean, quiet and safe for children. The trailer was spotless and the beds very comfortable! The view of Forillon Park and the lighthouse is breathtaking. The sound of the waves even went to us at night! Less than a 5-minute drive from the forillon park where a real playground is available to us! A must for a holiday in this area! It's really an accessible camping formula, simple and to discover! Thank you so much!

September 2014. Very friendly owner. The room was beautiful and very clean. A bit small however. This is the only reason for the loss of a star. I would recommend.

Coffee. NAT — Al, inside the motel: not only the menu was not appetizing, but the service was neither warm nor professional. I do not recommend: "go and collect $ 200".

It is one of the best places to stop. You be on the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula with the sea, a small beach and the highest lighthouse in the West of the Canada. It's comfortable and he has what it takes for a beautiful stay (cable, fridge, coffeemaker and a few small decorations typical :) ). The owner is very nice is offers several activities for those who are interested. He would have made a good tourist guide :). I recommend it.

We stayed two nights at the Motel of the high lighthouse and we have excellent memories. We cannot recommend it enough. The owner gives excellent advice, the view is superb, very good comfort, finally get there. We go back.

Not the Ritz but a beautiful location and friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay here, quite literally a stones throw (you'd have to have a really powerful arm! ) away from lighthouse. On a warm day (or not! ) treat yourself to an excellent soft serve ice cream (establishment next to le phare). Just across the very quiet highway — often minutes in between vehicles — you can access the rocky beach; just a little walk further brings you to a sandier beach. Our kids had a great time. If you can swing it, grab one of Alain's newer kitchenette units. They are slightly larger and have much improved washrooms. Regardless, we'd stay here again. Alain and Pierre were helpful and super friendly, and Cap Bon Ami is just a few minutes down the road. Excellent eating near by in Cap-Aux-Os (Cafe Baleiniers) and l'Anse Au Griffon (Café de l'Anse — marvellous). Bring groceries with you from Gaspe if you plan on doing most of your own cooking; supplies in both nearby villages are pretty limited; even Perce suffers in this regard. Final thoughts: nice spot, old washrooms in older units definitely need updating but we'd still stay again without hesitation and this part of Forillon is just fantastic.
