The newly renovated rooms give a nice chic look and rejuvenate at the hostel. Delicious breakfasts and very positive welcome. I recommend.

The service at the restaurant is very good. The young man who served us was very attentive, he even spoke in Spanish, our mother tongue, as a gesture of kindness. I liked the Cuban omelet.

It was nice, and the food tasted good, the chocolat that came with the food was devine, and it was an all around pleasant experience.

Odd place. I don't really get the glowing reviews. Looks cute from the outside but the interior decor and quality of furnishings is pretty bad. Desperately needs updating. I felt like I was staying at a youth hostel, not in a refined accommodation. No A/C so traffic ripping up the hill outside will keep you up at night if you open the windows for air. However, breakfast is included and pretty good.

Owners are cheap. You better count twice when the bill comes, they might charge you an extra coffee or smthg.

A quaint inn in the centre of this little town. The Inn has twelve rooms with mostly great views of the town. It's claim to fame is, it is also a Chocolate maker. So Breakfast includes things Chocolate. There is also a full dinning room in the hotel so eat In room, or. Join the people downstairs in the dining room. Outside small terrasse, where you can sit and watch the world go by. I would guess! But blending Chocolate and overnight accommodations, is ggrreeaatt! Hope there's a dentist somewhere in town! … Great romantic getaway!

Super friendly owners and great breakfast and lunch! Nice sidewalk patio overlooking the lake and the river. Good artisan chocolate selection. Our room was modest w/o TV but with Wi-Fi.

Loved this B&B. The family that runs it is really friendly and politely smiled when we tried our bad french. The chocolate sauce on french toast is worth the stay in and of itself. Rooms were very clean and reasonably quiet. We enjoyed North Hatley over any of the towns we saw in the area.

Sad that they dont serve breakfast after 10 on week days, but service and food is great!

What a nice little heaven extremely well situated in North Hatley. Very close to the superb bike path that is next to River and perfect for families. Staff is extremely friendly… And of course chocolate everywhere!

I booked 2 rooms for one night at the Inn the chocolate,
The first for my sons shop overlooking me. You need to know that store means for them a Creamery the other side of the street
The hostel is located on a street corner, and there is no parking. We must rely on the parking lot the other side of the street, adjacent to a bar, a couple of places, about which of course are occupied
At my remark. You have no parking. I was told. But be patient. Parking customers Sir host is your responsibility. First time in my life that I rent and that there is no parking
We ask where is the beach. UH! My living room is larger than the range and we charge $ 5 per person. The beaches in the USA display 15 dollars per car
Asked the name of good restaurants (that night. We had not the taste of burgers, etc, a good restaurant please). Called us 3. We go to each restaurant to look at the menu. In order to book. I remind that it is Friday 31 July. The first is closed? The second. A very good table seems it has closed its doors to be converted into catering. The third (bring your own wine) had only 3 choices on the menu. The innkeeper came to give us an hour earlier the reference of these "3 good restaurants" an update would have been in good taste
We did what he needed to do (without parking and good restaurant) we left a few hours after our Check-in
Of course we had to pay a full Bill.

Hostel strongly advises has North Hatley, friendly and respectful, a holiday which exceeded expectations with a full-service on-site staff. Wonderful seen from the room on the Lake had.
Not to be missed.

Great owners, place friendly, very good breakfast, quiet, facing the Lake, clean and very affordable for the sector of North Hatley. 5/5 without hesitation for me :).

Green Hills and or the English charm and French beauty married to offer us an epicurean atmosphere, we wanted to take a night
in the face of the Lake had, in reserving 2 large rooms facing the Lake, and thinking have the chance to visit a chocolate, talk with the great chocolate… What tourist and what home sweating commercialism! Having booked over the internet, what we arrived, we saw the deception! A single shelf containing a few chocolate houses, without more, and Swiss chocolate bars then c everything! A male character, the owner of a good-natured condescension noted our reservation to the pencil, on a tablet of paper, as for… We wanted to have at least 1 of the 2board with 2 double bed, because we were 4 people, a couple and 2 great MOM… There was yet another room refreshed, with 2 beds double, but we said was booked! If after 23; 00 she was free, could be that we could have access, but with a fake millionaire arrogance, the latter strongly suggested we rent a third bedroom, has $ 165 each you understand that we would have been in big luxury at this price for us four. A cottage would be less costly.
