I would recommend no one to book at this hotel, poor customer service especially the receptionist, she nervous and the hotel too dirty, a big lack of towels, blanket, sheet… We found another family in the room, bad Wi-Fi. And the icing of the cake we booked at $129 and we paid $165 for no reason or explanation from the receptionist unfortunately I couldn't cancel the reservation because I arrived at midnight with 2 little kids, no air conditioner just a fan of the 70s, I give it 0 star.

Great location but MEDIOCRE service! I do not recommend at all unless having very few expectations.

Don't go there! rooms not ready for us on arrival. Very long and disorganized, unsympathetic welcome. The room smelled like the old household product. Just 2 cups of coffee for 2 adults and 2nights. We tried by 4 times to have other cups without success. Electrical outlets don't work. The room attendants are very nonchalant, they are teenagers in summer jobs. The staff at the reception is reluctant to satisfy the clientele. While waiting in the lobby you realize that you are not the only ones to complain. The icing on the cake: at 10pm we were woken up by a family who had been given the same room as us. The children were very afraid, and the other family also discovered us in the dark. When I dared to complain to the reception I was answered dryly "and then it happens you want what? ". It's a big disrespect. The restaurant is very (too) expensive to eat cold and uncooked. We have not had lunch there.
Positives: the view, the pool area well appreciated by children. But you can access the pool without sleeping at the "hotel" by paying for access. Better option in my opinion. Again at check out I could see that several people had complaints, and many were listening to their stay or cancelling their meals.

We had chosen this hotel after seeing on the announcement that pets are allowed. On the other hand, when we went back to the front desk to get extra towels (because there were only 2 in a room for 4), the one who seems to be the owner came out of nowhere saying "IS YOU WITH THE CHIEN?!  ». Indeed, is it us? We came with it to the front desk a few hours ago! That's when he started insisting that we had to pay him an extra $15 or leave the hotel. Being treated like bandits when it was an oversight on their part was not very pleasant (as if we had to know that on the $250 paid earlier, for one night, it did not allow to have a dog). He then told us that we had a choice; leave or pay that $15. At 8:00 p. M. It's called a "false choice. " He was rude before making the payment, and he began to talk about the situation with his son in Mandarin, in front of us, for almost a minute.

In short, poor service, room to taste of yesteryear, oppressive heat (no ventilation; we were unable to sleep in the room, we slept in our vehicle). On the other hand, the view of the river is very beautiful.

It's a shame that the service we received at this hotel has tarnished our trip to Ile-aux-Coudres. Everywhere else (restaurants, municipal beach, etc. ) the service was fabulous!

Very nice setting. The pool was out of service, too bad! The soundproofing is average.

Beautiful scenery but waterfront hotels has a comfort from another era. On the other hand the property is impeccable.

Very disappointed with the room, it was very hot no air circulation. On arrival we were not advised that the pool was not open (Vide). This place is now on my "black list.

So they have a very big inflatable pool and also very high but no ladder to go

A nice place to go, it s like a trip to french without leaving canada. food are super good, people are very nice even they barley speak english, but they could understand you. Room are dated little bit, but I don t expected more than this. So in general is a nice place.

The furniture was a bit dated but the ambiance and people made this place worth every minute it took to get there. We were there late in the season so there weren't a lot of people around and we were able to enjoy a really quiet weekend away. The meals were simple but well prepared and plentiful.
