Staff is friendly and welcoming. Bed is comfortable. Hotel is quiet. Breakfast is standard continental — breads, cereals, coffee etc, but free and starts early.

Clean room, looks nicely renovated. Spacious room with good amenities including a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Only issue was the knobs on the shower were swapped so I had some confusion using the shower the first night. Room also came with a magnifying mirror on the desk which I liked. Complimentary breakfast was standard. Nice waffle maker.

Decent room, reasonable price, closed to many things.

Location is good, sink plug didn't work, air conditioner didn't work, came in to the room when the do not disturb sign was on the door, breakfast was decent, bed was comfortable and room clean. Good if you want a place to rest.

The rooms are great — comfy beds, super clean, hardwood. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, boiled eggs, bagels, etc, the one redeeming factor is the waffle maker. You can make your own fresh waffles. I eat so many every time I stay here. Price is right, location is great, waffles.

A huge step up from the Emerald Isle Motel down the road. Free breakfast (no hot eggs or bacon) with good OJ. Good Wi-Fi. The bar in the front looks like it is a strip club / adult entertainment with it's logo, so that was confusing at first. Great location in Richmond Hill only 30 min from downtown Toronto. Nice clean rooms that are well furnished.

Like the hardwood floor and yummy breakfast. Staffs are polite and very friendly. We will use this hotel again for our next tournament.

Friendly, helpful staff, conveniently located, loads of free parking, comfortable beds, gleaming hardwood floors and a free breakfast. So the furniture didn't match, and the cleaning could have been a bit better. If you want a 5 star hotel, go elsewhere and PAY for it. There's a police station directly across the street, and a medical emergency clinic with pharmacy and grocery store on the neighboring block. Fabulous value for your money…

I used to come to this hotel long time ago and I see a lot of changes. I don't see sketchy and scary looking guest anymore. I guess the owner clean up the place pretty good. Bed is comfortable, must try their waffle.

The hotel is a little outdated but they're doing renovations at the moment (hard wood floors). The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, and were kind in explaining the renovations and what was going on at the hotel. Would definitely go back!

Comfy bed. The room could be cleaner. Breakfast was fine: bread, cereals, waffles and fruits.

Over priced, the hole motel smells like pot, asked for a non smoking room and stunk like smoke in there. Big rooms comfy beds.

Used to staying in budget motels but would not stay here again. Bad location. Took 45 minutes to check in because of a computer update issue, staff was unsympathetic. Room not clean — hairs on the night table and around the bathroom sink, and toilet seat was up. Room did not appear to have been cleaned since last resident. Heater was broken. No smoke detector in the room, which is illegal. Sign posted outside hotel absolves itself of responsibility for vehicle damage/theft, suggesting this may have happened in the past.

I just got to my room and I was in total shock. It was beautiful. I have dark gleeming hardware floors 2 big beds the washroom is tucked away, room a table with 2 chairs, a small dresser and a desk. Seriously I could live here permanently if I could because you don't need anything else. Also breakfast included. Wow.

It was awesome. Clean bathroom, clean beds and it was all things that I wanted.

It's an alright hotel. I rate places I visit in a fair and respectful manner. Assuming that this a budget accommodation, my hopes were not that high. The place is clean. The beds are fantastic and soft. My biggest concern here is the safety. You will notice on many (if not all) doors have a 1.5 inch gap at the ground, making it enough for someone to peek under. The photos attached are what the doors look like and what I had to do to prevent peeping toms.

Rooms were very clean and newly renovated. Very close to local restaurants. Multiple roads to get to downtown Toronto if there is traffic on the highway.

I stayed for 5 nights visiting my friend at Richmond Hill. I booked since it was conveniently located there I liked friendly front staff and kind of breakfast Although a little old dated building… but seeded to try to maintain it well.

If there was an option to show you a video of my bed bug bites I would show but this hotel deserves to be shut down immediately. I woke up with over 20 bed bug bites each arm and on my legs I am dead serious. DO NOT GO THERE I REPEAT! the breakfast was disgusting the floors were not clean, my hotel came with a giant bee dead on the bed, there was spider webs in the bathtub. We booked a room 2 months in advance but I feel we got one of the worst and disgusting room. The hallways were full of creepy people. The elevator smelled like marijuana and the hallway to my room smelled like cigarettes. If we were aloud to sue the hotel I would. The environment was a piece of garbage this deserves way more than — 1 stars. This hotel was a fraud. Disgusting.

Ideal location for our event was taking place, cheap compared to other hotels in the area and service is good.

Staffs were helpful and friendly, rooms spacious, clean, air conditioned and had very comfortable beds. Very good location for shops and restaurants, etc. Great price. Would recommend.

Location is near great amenities. Clean, quite room with a few nice perks like free coffee in your room and complimentary breakfast with more options than expected. Staff was polite and curtious.

Cleaner then reviews led us to believe. Beds are very firm. Our room had a mini fridge, so we didn't need to keep buying ice for our cooler. The carpets in our room could stand to have a good cleaning. Otherwise quite a decent hotel for the price. Also breakfast was awesome — they had make it yourself waffles. I was impressed.

Must wash rooms. They're room!

A good hotel for a one night stay.

The service was good not great. I was at another hôtel so the difference was clear. It was missing that employee with a smile. As for the room… No complaints except for the bathroom. It could use work. But nonetheless I was happy. Its just that I stayed at a better hôtel thr day before sir thr differences were shocking.

Rooms are outdated, no sliding doors on the first floor and beds are thin and springy.

Has a very dark parking lot. Bed was very springy.

Travelodge in Richmond Hill has friendly, helpful service and comfortable beds. However, I found warm pop and a shabby, almost non-existant snack collection in the machines. My room had a leaky sink, a heater stuck on 30° and I had to exchange plugs depending on whether I wanted to make coffee or use the microwave. Over all, this being the least expensive place in the area, you get what you pay for.

The location is great, many places to go to around it. The room was coventiant but could be more clean. Service was great, workers are really respectful and helpful.

BEDBUGS! Staff are either clueless cowards or rude, ignorant cowards. Stay away from this poorly run, pig in lipstick motel.

Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable, well maintained. Budget motel with not a lot of frills, but if your looking for a clean quiet place to rest this is it. Very well maintained.

Bed bugs, breakfast got me sick and the room smelt smokey. The walls were all cracked and there was black sticky stains on the carpet. I rate — 10 and would never stay here again GROSS!

Bedbugs, plus rude staff, equal Terrible Hotel! Place has bedbugs. Constantly saw the bedbug exterminator walking the halls during the 3 months I had the displeasure of staying there. Staff are also incredibly judgmental and homophobic. Kicked me out because they did not not like the looks of two visitors I had over. Bottom line, there are many other hotels in the general area that are better priced, better cleaned and ones with better service.

White stains on the carpet, ashtray, which completely left in the room, if wet spots on the floor and a shower that turns you on, boiling hot randomly. Horrible place.

Didn't have any problems what so ever with this hotel, farther from Canada's wonderland than we realized, but a far better price, especially when getting free breakfast, than some of the hotels right near the park. Great price for what was given, unfortunately no pool, but oh well. There is also lots of Richmond Hill right around there so it's a great place to be. Overall pretty good place, would definitely stay there again.
