Good place to stay. The owner is very nice and helpful. The restaurant is good but seems to close early if there is no customers. The rooms are old simple but clean and we haven't seen any bugs. We will definitely stay there again!
To whom is interested in traveling throughout Spanish Ontario, I would like to enlighten you on the poor hospitality given. As I arrived with my two children at 2:30am in Spanish Ontario (after traveling from Ottawa Ontario, an 8 hour drive) I was told to pay immediately upon room check in. This was alright now that they had my credit card and drivers license information written down at front desk. I managed to get keys for room 9 and tried settling in quickly as the night was getting late. I was guaranteeing $59.99 cash in the morning though the room wasn't close to worth it to the price. Which wasn't all great to begin with immediately comes the boss within 5 minutes to my door saying pay now or you can leave in freezing weather. Thank you for your crappy accomadations and poor hospitality services. I do see no further business for your decreasing Motel. I hope a change of heart comes into place or a new management takes over. Spanish River Inn, you guys suck. Thank you for reading my review. ;)

Inn on outside looking a little tired from roadside, needs LTC. BUT… We were pleasantly surprised, once inside — restaurant/ bar with pool table Our room — very Spacious with Jacuzzi tub, great TV, king bed (great sleep), separate clean bathroom, does lack decor. Owner was pleasant & very approachable.
