Worst hotel I have ever been. Disgusting black sticky floors. Bugs everywhere. Black mold. Could barely breathe in the room due to the mold. Unclean. Unhygienic. Complained and they said that there was nothing they can do. If you value your health, then stay away from this place.
Well as we all know about sikh's the most helping community on this planet, so thus the singh sahab (the manager) such a great personality and so helping… They arranged the room when we were in need and also the room was very nice. I will surely recommend others. Thanks motor inn!

We arrived in Detroit at about 11pm and even though we had a hotel booked in Detroit, we thought it would be nice to cross the border and spend the night closer to home. Called around but everything was sold out. We had almost given up and decided to stay in Detroit, but tried calling one last place: Strathroy Motor Inn. We were told over the phone that there was a vacancy and I tried to reserve the room by phone but the person who answered said it was fine, to come by and finalize the reservation in person. We arrived 2 hours later and rang the bell only to be told over an intercom system that there were no vacancies and that our room had been given away. Person was very rude and yelled at us and refused to come to speak to us in person. We were left with no options because all the hotels between Sarnia and Woodstock and St Thomas were fully booked. Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Do not recommend.
