Clean but very run down. In bad need of a handyman's touch. Stayed here a number of times, not by choice, my employer books the space. And no. I did not stay at the cottage. I stayed ar the Riverview Motel. How they can list it at $120/night is unconscionable.

The place was clean, had a great view of the river, and the bed was very comfortable. Close to town and had hammacks which we enjoyed in the evening.

Very nice hotel was there for a week. They allowed us to park our tractors in the parking lot. Definitely recommend!

We rented the cottage next to this motel. My husband & our son were launching the canoe & I was standing on the dock watching them & litterly 3mins in to their first canoe ride the owner told us that we are not allowed to use the dock because its his property & I totally understand if he was liable for us but there was many signs posted saying "use dock at own risk" which clears him of any liability. I could understand if we were teenagers or drunk people acting like A holes but it was a father & son in a canoe. & NO ONE not a soul was out there & he has 2 docks. I was going to book our family reunion & have family stay there but I won't after that.

Wonderful place for camping and fishing. Clean room and friendly staff. I love to go again and again. Owner was amazing and so friendly. Thank you for great service.

The place is very nice. The cleaning staff is very hard working, friendly. The room is neat and clean with great beautiful view cross from the Grand river.

I absolutely hate leaving low reviews but the hotel was quite old. A couple of the lights in my room did not work. The bathroom was pretty sketchy… Walls between the neighbours are super thin. I was there for a week.

It's a place to sleep. They don't pretend to be the Hilton, but it's very good for what they are.

Hammocks on the banks of the river are a plus.

The motel was clean and cozy with helpful and friendly hosts. Although it looked run down from the outside, the inside of the room I rented was good and peacful. I found the motel to be safe. The door had proper latches unlike other motels in the area. Its location near the water makes it more attractive. The owner have added two piers for those who like fishing.

The rooms are clean. The staff friendly. Very scenic and quiet at night. Very relaxed atmosphere. Most defiantly worth a visit! And mention Steve sent you!

For the price, it's ok. It's not worth over 90 a night like they may suggest. Cold Cinder block rooms, but clean comfy beds. The backyard has a firepit and beach potential but instead they decided to dump a few tons of concrete on it to enhance their (probably unknown) beauty of their gorgeous wild orchids. (Flowering g now in early June)

Very basic motel, nothing special. The rooms are outdated, but the river view is nice. There aren't too many choices in town, so this is probably your best bet.

Stayed here in August 2016. Absolutely loved it. Hoping to stay again this summer.

It's not a bad place to spend the night It's clean and quiet. All it needs is ontinental breakfast.

It's was very clean and quiet. Nice place to stay.

The owners are very friendly, we checked in after midnight, they got up to help us. The place was clean, even has a private beach area we could fish. A public swimming pool right across street. Very convenient and we enjoyed it.
