We got to bike ride and canoe and kayak all included in our weekend package the staff was very friendly and cleaned the equipment.
I felt safe and happy with my experience especially during these strange times.

First time going to this resort. From the moment I got there the staff were very friendly and nice people. The room I had was amazing with the most beautiful view I ever saw. The food was great. The water was amazing. I will definitely come back some day. Thanks for making my trip the best m.

My family has been coming here since before I was born, it's a treasured family place that we love to share with all our friends and relatives. Beyond the sentimental value, this resort is consistently fun, relaxing and beautiful to enjoy. We'll continue to come as long as we can. 10/10 would recommend!

Great place we had the osor snowmobile oval races the staff was great very nice place.

Not one person asked us how our stay was… customer service was non-existent at this resort.
Accommodations were beautiful — I had requested one of the upgraded cottages
Food was quite good — adults ordered off of a menu with a good variety and the kids ate from a buffet 1. The ski shop was not manned and we had to figure out which skis, boots and poles I should get for myself and my 2 kids. There were no maps available and no one to direct us where to go. We didn't know if we could leave our boots in the ski shop so trekked with them back to the car. When front desk had told us where the ski shop was, she mentioned that we would be crossing the train tracks and going by the toboggan hill. So we did so, hoping there would be more info… no signs, no maps, no people. We found the sign for the toboggan hill, but no sign for cross country skiing. We found a trail with yellow markers and my kids were bored so we started following it. After almost an hour, of no people, I called the resort and the guy said that they had maps at the front desk (well, that would have been helpful to know when I asked where the ski shop was located). We finished the trail, but my kids never want to go cross country skiing again. Also, it seems like the skis needed to be waxed because there was no gliding. When I started providing feedback to the front desk, they did not care at all.
2. Toboggan hill is extremely dangerous.

Had a wonderful time last night at our Christmas party. The staff at Bayview Wildwood are fantastic, the food is delicious and the accommodations are beautiful and so comfortable with the new upgrades.

Where to begin… Bayview and all the staff made our wedding weekend beyond AMAZING! To any brides or grooms out there considering Bayview, we would recommend this place one thousand times over. We had our wedding weekend at the end of June and it was more than perfect. We visited Bayview in July 2018 for the first time on Canada Day weekend and were sold after a one night stay — everyone made the experience so memorable we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else! Once we booked a year in advance, the staff never failed to help us throughout the process. We even had many pleasant surprises such as room renovations, a new dance floor, etc. That was so exciting to see when we visited a year later! Shoutout to the staff — Jeff and Nancy for fielding numerous questions all throughout our planning, Amanda for organizing an amazing meal, the Chef for coming out to check that everyone was enjoying the food (which we got so many compliments on! ), Donna for keeping the bar going all throughout the night (and boy was she busy! ), to the summer staff who were joking around with us as they set up the ceremony and chairs, the staff that snuck away and unloaded all of our booze for the canoe on the Friday night… and everyone else we missed! The staff are truly amazing — they go above and beyond for everything! So many fun surprises every time we visited. We felt that they were absolutely ready for our 100+ guests and we were always greeted with a smile.

A quaint little family resort on the shores of Sparrow Lake. It’s been here for well over 100 years! A wonderful rustic modern resort.

Such a lovely place and even more lovely staff. Helpful, knowledgeable, professional and personable as well. Can’t wait for our daughter’s wedding in June.

I'm at Bayview Wildwood now; for a bridge conference with 84 other bridge fanatics. It's a wonderful three days. They feed you and board you and play bridge morning, noon and night.

I have been coming to Bayview off and on for about 36 years now. My sister and brother-in-law bought a time share cottage and we are able to share memories with our families now. Everyone has always been accommodating and welcoming. Unfortunately this past visit I had a run in with (I believe the head of Laundry/housekeeping) I understand we arrived early and had no problem making ourselves busy until the cottage was ready… (the young cleaning ladies that work for her are lovely and absolutely amazing btw) … her rude attitude toward myself and my 9 year old daughter was uncalled for tho. (My sister had called the office a day before to let them know we would be arriving early). I hope she treats her staff better then guests/timeshare owners.

We've been coming here for the past 20 years want the summer for a week and it is the best vacation that we've ever been to. They have activities throughout the week that exceptional like horseshoe tournaments and basketball tournaments. They have amazing entertainment that comes every night like Jamie Williams the One Man Band.

Great place to get away from the city, also helps that it is family owned. We rented Albert manor, upkeep is reasonable, although I think the AC stopped working the second day we were there. Equipment rentals are free for the first hour or 2 which is great if you just wanted to try out something you've never experienced it before. Lake has plenty of fish for fishing. The only downside is it's proximity to the train tracks, but I didn't find it very bothersome surprisingly. Some good hiking trails around as well, I took my mountain bike there and it was decent. Will visit again definitely.

Gotta luv tha 2 person conoe/kayaks. Super warm outdoor pool. Gymnasium and indoor pool and hot tub were were extremely fun and relaxing. Wifi reception has decent download speeds. Beds are plush and endless hot water for showing in the morning. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends and I am for sure coming back next summer.

The best part of Bayview is the food. They have great camps for kids : Art, Adventure, Sport etc. They have evening dinner themes, and entertainment, along with activities for adults such as yoga, horseshoes, hiking, tours, canoeing etc. Some of the room are a bit outdated but many are starting to be refurbished. Great view on the beach, it even has a water trampoline for the kids. Staff were very nice & mostly organized. Very nice view from the dining hall & overall a cozy feel to the whole resort. Only downside is the train going by in the middle of the night. * Bring Bug Spray in Summer.

The Rooms are very clean. Always had lots too do for family or if you want a romantic night they offer babysitting on site if you need one. The food is excellent. If you need help the staff is ready to help. Great Service I will go back.

A great family resort with lots to do with the kids. It's a rustic getaway which is exactly what we look for. We've been a couple of times. The meals are great because the children can choose from a buffet while the adults choose from a formal menu. We've only gone during the winter — but the toboggan is a blast and we loved the woodland trails. There is a kids club that you can drop your children off for a nice break to do adult activities. We like it because there are many other children, so you're not self-conscious about your own all the time.

We have had company functions a few times at Bayview Wildwood and they never disappoint. We will be returning again this spring. The staff are amazing and always helpful. The property is classy with a rich history. Weather you need to hold a conference or just a weekend gateway BW is my first recommendation.

Great spot to get away. The food was great and they were able to accommodate many dietary restrictions. I had one small issue with my door lock that wasn't managed well but aside from that, it's been a nice place every time I've been.

Me and my boyfriend had a great mini winter getaway here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms cozy and clean. The food was great! We used all the ammenties and took advantage of the winter gear they had to go cross-country skiing around the beautiful trails in addition to the pool and hot tub. I Will definitely return to this great resort. Thank you.

Staff was great, place is a bit dated, but no shortage of things to do. When we arrived our cabin hadn't been cleaned, but they quickly fixed it and gave us a bottle of wine and a $20 voucher to make up for it. I would go back for sure. The shows were amazing. We saw an animal show and the most incredible magic show.

Awesome resort! Has a lot of fun activities. If you plan to ice skating during the winter, I would recommend getting your own skates because the ones that you rent might be too tight or loose. Also, if you're driving here and your vehicle (and everyone and everything in it) weighs more that 3 tons, you should avoid a bridge while trying to reach here.

We've come here every Christmas for about 10 years. Whether you're looking for winter or summer activities, there's always something to do here. The food is amazing, it's got a long and rich history. Theres also horse carriages ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in Bayview wildwood resort for our get-together event. The food was very good and the resort offered very nice facilities to have a pleasant time by the beautiful Sparrow Lake.

I had my wedding at Bayview Wildwood Resort last weekend and I cannot stop raving about the ammenities, setting, lake views and above all else, the wonderful staff! The staff went over and above to help carry out our vision with no questions asked. They set up all our tables with rented linens, chair covers and our decor — no need for a decorator. Easels, an arbor, rustic decor, hanging lights were all just available for use. Breakfast was included every day and the spread was incredible. One friend said "they made the bacon perfectly the way I like it, and then there was piles of it! Usually you get 1-2 slices, I was taking 10! " Paddle boards and kayaks were available all day for use, the beach and docks were lovely. The food was amazing — for both our Friday BBQ and our Saturday wedding dinner. The staff never told you 'no', and I felt they were all truly invested in the wedding weekend. You got to know some of them — Donna, Jason and Jeff were incredible. The hotel rooms were varied in decor but extremely clean and comfortable. This venue was perfect in every way!

We love Bayview Wildwood resort. There are activities planned literally from morning until late at night, you will never ask "what is there to do"? Of course if you want to simply sit and rest you can do that as well. Lots of programs available for young children all the way up to adults. I played in tournaments for shuffle board, horseshoes, bocce ball, cornhole, tennis, badminton, as well as others. And the food is very good. They serve you all three meals a day in their lodge so you are never searching for where you will go to eat. They have a great beach area with lots of water sports available as well. All in all, we had a fantastic vacation here and will be going back.

Excellent family atmosphere! Friendly and hard working staff. Great fishing. Amenities are what you'd expect in a 3 star resort.

Very nice resort. Stayed in the Albert Manor. Beautiful beautiful beautiful cottage (if you would even call it that). My only complaint is that the front deck of the Manor overlooks a nice size "front lawn". This front lawn is basically used by everyone for anything. We had a group of loud, obnoxious teenagers hang out 10 feet from our veranda. If you desire a semi-private setting for a getaway, look elsewhere. If your content with people walking within feet of your morning coffee, then the Manor at Bayview awaits.

Our family LOVES Bayview Wildwood! We have enjoyed going on Family day weekend with all the winter fun you can have, we have enjoyed hiking in the Fall leaves in Autumn, and can't top the summer. The food is good, the staff is AMAZING in every way. This is our favourite place to go on vacation. Activity program is good wholesome fun. We started going as a couple, and had a ball. Now as a family, continue to make wonderful memories every year. HIGHLY recommend it.

The rooms are dated and the server was notified I had celiacs, told me she notified the chef, yet kept bringing me things like cake, or yorkshire pudding. I had to send 2/3 courses back. I was here for a Christmas party & my wallet/cash was stolen from my coat at the coat check. Although the staff took the situation seriously and encouraged me to file a police report (which I did), I'm still surprised there is no security whatsoever here.

First time at the resort. Let me start with the staff and service. It's excellent. Everyone is friendly and the food at the echo lounge was great. Lots of things to do in the winter. The room is fine, but don't expect 5 star and you will be happy. Love the location, the only thing I would caution is that it's right by the train tracks. It didn't bother me but if your a light sleeper that could be an issue. Overall we loved the place.

Stayed here during the New Years 2017. It was a great resort with lots of fun winter activities, as well as cool things like Icelandic Meditation!

We came for the weekend to unwind. We had a great time. Our room was very clean and overlooking the lake. Wow amazing view. We only had breakfast at the restaurant but the food was good and again the view amazing. There's an activity room and a pool and the staff was nice enough to give us a room in the same complex. My kids loved it. They played pool, football, ping-pong. They went in the pool. They went for a bike ride and we all went for a hike in one of the trails. We will definitely come back during the summer.

I don't even know where to begin… This place will forever be in my heart. I was married here just this month and it was seriously the best weekend of my life!
Jason and Jeff are amazing! Jason was so helpful in getting us started with planning our wedding. His approach is so genuine and he always had a top notch attitude when we were chatting. Jeff — what a guy! He is not afraid to get his hands dirty and I was so thankful to have him by my side throughout the wedding weekend. He checked in often and offered up whatever help he could. Thank you both so much! But, the weekend wouldn't have been as great without the tremendous efforts of the rest of the staff. What a kind, welcoming and thoughtful group. :) Thank you for your hard work. They made me feel so special as the bride and helped me make all my details come to life — thank you!

The rooms/cottages — — in love! What a very cool place and unique spaces Bayview has to offer. What's great and really cool at this place is that you can stay in a resort style room, a modern cottage or a rustic cottage with a great patio — — all with fire places and views of the lake! What's not to love!?
And then top it off with a great beach, stunning views and tons of recreation opportunities for all ages!
Thank you Bayview for the unforgettable weekend. We will definitely be back!

Been coming here for year. Great activities for everyone in the family. I love their ski school. SWS (summer water sports) have taught me a variety of watersports and are great people to work with. They also put on a great ski show every Thursday night all summer long. A must see.

Been going there for three years in a row just love it.

Stayed at the cottages, and was disappointed with the decline in the fire pit equipment. Lack of wood, lost the wooden guard rails, and the stone for chopping wood. Everything else was good.

The food and accommodations were truly amazing! The only complaint I can think of is that the indoor pool's ladies' change rooms smelled overwhelmingly like urine.

Staff is very friendly, beautiful views of the surrounding area just rather isolated which can be a positive as well!

Was there for a company X'mas party. Food was terrible ceaser salad but no dressing just lettuce and cheese. Also found 2 stumps from the lettuce heads in my salad. My prime rib was bleeding all over my plate and was full of fat. I asked for medium. Glasses weren't clean and neither was the cutlery. The only positive thing I can say is the rooms were clean and I had free Wi-Fi. Would I eat there again. Not likely. Over priced for uncooked food.

We had a work Christmas party at the resort and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and the decor was acceptable the dance music was good all night and bar war kept clean and drinks were coming.

Great for kids, lots of activities to keep them entertained, good food, rooms are a bit old, but serviceable.

We stayed here with a group of 10! It was fantastic! We went Dog Sledding nearby! It was so much fun.

One of my best Resort I've ever visited before. It could be pricey but it's fine. The swimming pool is a small one but cool. I like it.

I've been going to Bayview for 16 years. I plan to keep going for my whole life! I love the place, people, food, and energy. It's kind of like a camp for adults, and it's so homey and relaxing and the lake is beautiful.

This place is just amazing. The best ever. I look forward to it every year and am sad when I leave. It's my home.

Back a second year in a row, and already booked for next year. We love this place. Relaxing, well maintained rooms, grounds, pool, beach and waterfront, great staff (every one of them), really good food/variety — but just one thing. It's a small thing, but really important. Could someone please, please tell the kitchen/wait staff to ensure the dishes get clean? Cups, plates, cutlery, even wine glasses sometimes suffer from neglectful eyes and perhaps low temperature dishwashing? When food is this good, it deserves to be presented respectfully. If this could be resolved — we will make this our lifetime place to get away — we promise! Everything else is just right for a getaway. Lots to do, it is beautiful, clean rooms, not too far of a drive from Toronto where we are coming from. This place is neither stuffy/elitist, nor cheapskate heaven. It is just right.
