Thanks for hosting me, I had a great time, the breakfast was really complete, the room was nice and the bar had such a great ambiance and choice of beers! Highly recommend.

I've been here once over night and it was average. But as a pub it is amazing. Chill and has literally the best craft in city.

A very nice place to stay in Greektown. Beds are nice, they have a cool patio to stay too. Breakfast is awesome and people who work there are so nice and helpful. Great bar downstairs if you want to drink a craft beer.

Super friendly. Very clean. So much for so little. Super impressed for my first time in a hostel type place. Shared a room with two men and they were polite and respectful. Highly recommend.

Loved the only Hostel. The place is really well kept. The atmosphere is great and tbe staff are friendly and more importantly really cool. It felt like hanging out rather than stying in a hotel. The breakfasts were amazing too. Get down early though, sometimes there's muffins and pastries but they go fast. I think I ate the most I have my entire trip there, and iv been traveling for two months. The bar and cafe attached means you don't have to look for a good place to spend the day because your already in one. Seriously next time I visit Toronto I might just spend my time there relaxing and recuperating now iv seen the sights. Greek town is cool as well. Loads of coffee shops and life in the place. The underground/bus station is right behind the hostel to get to town and there's good jazz, rock. And hip-hop bars/clubs near by. There are some good beaches there too and during the sumer they have music and a real party atmosphere. Go here, love here.

Been here for two days. Will be here for another two. If you are vacationing to Toronto The Only hostel worth mentioning Is The Only Backpackers Inn. Friendly staff, great price, nice atmosphere, great little bar and cafe below, simple but nice complimentary breakfast, and overall the guests are nice and clean. Will be staying again for sure. My only advice is to buy bottled water as the tap water isn't the best for drinking. Still every bit worthy of 5 stars.

This place is phenomenal. First time at a hostel and way more than I expected. They have everything you need and more. Lovely environment. Will definitely stay again when travelling through.

This place is amazing for the price. Its essentially for travelers on a lean budget, but still want a good place. Rooms are clean. Facilities are clean. There is breakfast in the morning. Also a coffer shop and bar in the building. Opportunity to meet interesting people from many countries. And also the. Location is very close to downtown, with the Donlands subway only 2mins walk from here.

For the price you are getting way more than I could have asked for. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms impeccable. Furthermore, the coffee shop is a wonderful addition to complete the setup. Could have happy stayed here for days at end and not felt out of place.

La metropolitana si trova letteralmente a 5 metri dalla proprietà, in poco tempo si può raggiungere il centro. Le stanze sono ampie e pulite, la cucina è grande e ben fornita.

Location is right around the corner from Donland station with a bunch of shops and restaurants nearby. The room I'm in has 4 beds so it feels a lot more private than other hostels I've stayed at. Breakfast is included with a wide selection. There is good Wi-Fi too. There is a large kitchen for use that has all the appliances and dishes I'll ever need and a lounge in the basement with a large selection of books, boardgames, and a tv. The staff are extremely friendly as well and can be found at the bar or cafe, depending on time of day. There are multiple shared bathrooms and showers The only drawback with this place is the rooms are right above the bar so the music can be heard a little bit at night.

So much fun! This was my very first hostel and I stayed in the women’s room. For available Wi-Fi, game room downstairs, kitchen, free breakfast, amazing outdoor patio, and the people, I think this is an amazing deal. They were clean, the staff super knowledgeable and kind, and the location is so close to the train station. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Toronto.

The sheared room is great, they have lockers just don't forget to bring your locker. The shower and bathroom are great but if you don't want to spend 2 dollars bring your own towel. Great place to sleep and chat!

Honestly a bit disappointed with the new rules/developments at this hostel. I think the hostel should advertise that there is now an alchohol ban on its website, as it really changes the vibe, and is something that travellers should know ahead of time. When we were there in the summer of 2016, there were dozens of people hanging out, drinking, chatting (like a hostel should be). This time around, the public spaces were dead, even boring. Hate to say it but for backpackers and travellers, booze is an obvious ice-breaker. Luckily, there's always the bar downstairs, but not everyone has the budget for that. They also downgraded the quality of the breakfast, but it is still complete with eggs and fruit, and for it to be included is awesome in itself, but if you're a returner, don't expect the awesome waffles anymore! Otherwise, place is still pretty awesome, cheap and relatively clean and spacious.

One of the few hostels left in Toronto. Great breakfast. UPDATE: Kitchen is gone waffle breakfast is gone 2 best features! Price increased but still the cheapest stay in Toronto.

Awesome place, good beer and coffee. The staff is always ready to answer your question if there's anything and they do so with a big smile on their face. I'll come back for sure =D.

They had house rules or hostel rules but only for the guests, their employees don't obey them in the first place, they should, in fact, which was double standards to me. For example, they state on the websites no pets allowed, but their repairman had a big black dog which was in the hostel with him, walking around, they shouldn't have, though, and in the kitchen while we were eating. I didn't bring my autism service dog, I wish I had. They warned us no food in the rooms, but their housecleaning lady who was staying in the same room with us eating in the room. Too noisy at night. The TV room was outside somewhere, not in the hostel. They didn't allow alcohol in the entire hostel, because they had a bar they owned downstairs, so you had to buy from there for $7 per pint — so unfair!

Stayed short time, really didn't like this hostel. Compared to other hostels in Canada, this hostel was one of the poorer, the online photos were different from the reality. Breakfast was overrate, the rooms were, like omg, pooor, too small too crowded, dirty! I chose this hostel based on online ratings, but found the online reviews weren't reflecting the truth. Far away from downtown, hut located close to greek town which was a nice location. If you like drinking, getting drunk, doing nothing, going nowhere, do no-sightsieeing, then this hostel is for you.

One of the worst hostel in town. They are not the cheapest in Toronto contrary to what they state on their website. I stayed in the hostels cheaper than this one and they all had free Wi-Fi and breakfast… So, this one wasn't the speacial one! It wasn't the cleanest one. Their cleaning lady was too busy with her own paintings hobbies than cleaning! They invade the guest's privacy too much, the employee was always in our mixed 6bed dorm. I stayed there some years ago, I am glad that their "gossiper employees" were gone, I didn't see them — the women with tatoos and the one wearing glasses-this time. I agree with the previous comments about their very old labourer,,, probably his name is Jeff,,, he should stop staring at females guests, he is too old to flirt with 20-30 young women. The hostels kitchen was renovated, different this time more spacious, more tables, but dirtier!

I just loved the place! The decoration, atmosphere, location, the staff. Breakfast served is above average for a hostal. There is a metro station around the corner. There are hostels closer to downtown, but this one is just perfect for a calmer part of the city, still accesible to rest, groceries, the metro. It also have a nice common space in the basement with games and tv. Kitchen is spacious, it was not super dirty but it could be cleaner, the only thing I only have to mention. Bar and café downstairs was you what sealed it for me. If I come again to Toronto I would be happy to stay here again.

In a great location right next to the subway into the city with many bars around it. The hostel is also on top of a bar and cafe combo which was great! There is also a kitchen, patio and game room for fun!

The room I stayed had no window, there was an opening on the ceiling and the light was coming in, so couldn't sleep well. It was snowing, or a mixture of rain, hitting that glass hole causing so much noise during the night. Room was too small for 6 beds, 3 bunk beds. It was a mixed room booked, wasn't expecting it to be that not functional. I dropped my iphone under the bed, tried to get it, when I pulled my phone, my phone came with all of those dirt and dust from under the bed, giving an idea that the room wasnt cleaned for years. Last time I was there, there was this so rude tattooed emplyee, I was glad that I didn't see her there this time I stayed. Since it was winter, I wanted to hang out indoors, there was nothing to do in this hostel, as unlike what their website suggests, there wasn't any TV room or common room to hang out. You have to go outside of the hostel to watch TV it was in a basement of another basement, smelly, too noisy too cold place, scary! Or you have to go to the bar below, which was full of drunk people too congested. I didn't like it!

Clean, friendly and well decorated hostel with a bohemian atmosphere. The room I stayed (Front Room) was big enough to change clothes and to place the stuff. Although plastic shelves were big enough to put the clothes, the lockers provided were small. The pub and cafe are great to socialize and get the local feeling. Breakfast was good enough for a hostel; cereals, eggs, butter, jam, chocolate, fruits and coffee make a good start to a day. There are many private washrooms and showers and pretty clean. There is a kitchen and a large TV room as well, though you you gotta access through the backyard. I stayed here one night in December on a very cold day. Probably it's even nicer in summer with the backyard. Definitely recommending it!

Easy going vibe. A wide range of craft and local beers. Walls covered with eclectic mix of portraits, and other artworks. Patio out back great in Summer, inside a cozy local haunt in winter.

This hostel has pros and cons, cons are more. The breakfast didn't have any waffle that is written everywhere on the internet. They had this basic cereal breakfast, they should add waffle and cereal, toast, everything, and should leave it to the guests to choose which one to eat by themselves. The rooms were too crowded, not enough storage for everyone, no window, no padlock was provided. Also, one of the employees working in the cafe downstairs named Dimitri, I have just seen the reviews here, rated 5* for this hostel on this page, he is working in this hostel for this hostel, he isn't living there or staying there, at least this is what he told us. But, then, why did he rate this hostel if he wasn't a guest! So, this sounded and seemed to me very fraudulent. Please leave the ratings or reviews to be done by the real guests only who paid for their stay. Because of these cons, I rated the lowest.

Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and the Breakfast is also good. In addition, very cheap and relatively centrally located.

Crazy luxurious for $28 a night. Great cafe and bar, free waffles. Still better than $250 hotels I've stayed in (discounted from $700). Pretty sad how nice this hostel was compared to many hotels. Go backpackers! Will definately stay here again.

This hostel accommodated me very well. Facilities were always clean and well maintained. Moreover, the staff was nice and very helpful. I would recommend this hostel for travelers who seek temporary place to stay in busy and pricy Toronto;).

I have just passed now in front of the hostel and so many memories come to my mind. I miss you guys, even though I'm still in Toronto but not in the hostel. The staff is really friendly. They give you a tour and show you everything. I was lucky and they even carried my backpack to my room. The waffle breakfast is just awesome. I never had this kind of breakfast at a hostel. One of the best hostels i've ever stayed at.
