Review of The Hazelton Hotel 5*

Called to book the spa. Easy Breezy! The receptionist even mentioned a "Spa" Special concierge car service, $15.00! When we arrived we saw the $15.00 spa parking special on the driveway entrance too! Came into the spa, spent $400.00 on two massages, went to dinner, came back and gave the guy $20.00, $15.00 for parking, $5.00 tip. Sorry Sir, $30.00 for parking, you were more than three hours. I explained the circumstances, but he was adamant. $30.00 for parking. So we paid, and left. But what a bummer way to end what had been up to that point a very nice day. It's too bad. I sincerely apologize that we have left a bad impression on you after hearing you had such a wonderful time. At no time was this our intention. As you had mentioned, our parking rates are posted by the entrance and we do offer a $15 Spa rate for those who are visiting opposed to our $10 per hour daily rate. The preferred rate is listed as a 3 hour maximum and then $5 per 30min thereafter to prevent those from parking all day and/or overnight. I understand that this was not your intention and that this was not clearly communicated to you. Our Valet would have only been communicating the directive of the hotel when enforcing the rates but at no time should have made you feel anything but welcomed, I'm truly sorry. I hope to one day welcome you back to The Hazelton Hotel whether it be for Dinner, Spa or a night away. Please let me know and I will be happy to take care of the parking charges for that visit and if you decide to one day stay with us, I would like to offer you a preferred nightly rate.
