Went here for a conference. Used the 2nd floor where the halls are. Each hall can fit up to 50 people comfortably. They also had the main one which can fit 150 people without it feeling too crowded. The main one also can be divided into two with a divider. They also provide water in pitchers with glasses beside every room. For lunch, they provided servers and halal options. They provided the seats, table and cloth for it. There is also a bus stop nearby, stop light and a park across it which makes it easily accessible. Speaking of accessible, they have lifts for wheelchairs on every stairs.

We had a 4 night stay (in fact it's our last night tonight). The room we had was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had a separate lounge area, bathroom and bedroom with a big walk in wardrobe. The bathroom could have done with a new wash basin as it was badly cracked. We had a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities as well. The front desk staff were really helpful and informative. We didn't meet one that didn't offer to help make our stay a good one. Jarvis Street is an up and coming area. Easy reach of Downtown Toronto and the waterfront. Yes I would stay again. But they need to get that basin fixed and clean up the pool area including the changing rooms. It was grubby looking.

King suite was great small but very clean, parking was a gem best parking rate / ease of access. Small hick ups with signage on accessing hotel latest night or with having to get new keys every morning. But overall it was a wonderful experience and for a quick weekend getaway or a reasonable business trip this would be one of my top pics.

Well located. Well maintained. It has its years but it is wide and without outside noise. Ample parking. All services to indoor pool. Mediocre restaurant. Would.

Great location. The room we got was pretty good nothing great, we got the Jr. Suite. We could hear others from our room though. Very disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working while we were staying and the pool barely reached my chest.

I came here to celebrate my birthday in Toronto. Font Desk Agent was rude not only to me but to my friends I came with. I'm from the US so I wasn't aware that my American Visa would decline but I had all the funds for the reservation. When my friend tried using her card it declined as well because of her American Visa as well. Her whole demeanor showed that she was annoyed at us and would huff and puff when we asked her questions. When we checked in our room, it was cold and the heater did not warm up the room so we needed more blankets. When we asked her she still had her snarky rude tone and said they ran out, yet we were able to get blankets later that night. Front desk is the hotels first impression she made them look bad. If you're having a bad day and you're working in hospitality it is your job tuck in your personal issues and be professional. We were all really upset and did not feel welcomed at all at this hotel.

It's a decent stay. Staff was moderately friendly and the rooms were slightly dated but not too bad. The sleep and bedding was comfortable, the bathrooms seemed to be recently renovated and worked well. Room was stocked properly and front desk was helpful with any questions I had. I would stay again.

We arrived at the hotel and immedietly thought it was fine due to the good looking lobby. But when we got into our room the first thing we smelled was weed. Luckily the staff quickly gave us a replacement room. But both rooms were filthy. Also the pool area was very far away and also dirty. Don't even get me started about the view which is horrendous.

We stayed March 7 for 1 evening. We had a concert to attend that night and made our booking just hours before. We were able to get the King room we desired at a fair price (weekday rates are very good). Our room was spotless, with a decent view and the bed was amazing. Best hotel bed we've ever had. Overnight car parking was a bit pricey, but at least it was secured and monitored. We will definitely be back.

The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are beautiful.

Well. The staff left a lot to be desired. Rare in Canada. They are not friendly and do not want to give data. They charge if you check in with 3 hours before more than a full day. This without preventing. Ill will. Good location and clean.

The hotel was inexpensive and served as a decent place to stay for a night. No fridge, no microwave in the room was definately a negative. The room was a little dated as well but no big deal. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice. I realize a lot of places do this but it's still irritating, paying for parking at a hotel you're already paying for is definitely a negative.

Such a bad experience with staff here. Stayed for our wedding night and I asked if they could offer anything such as rose petals on the bed, etc. No, nothing. They offered free champaign but we don't drink. After some prodding they offered a piece of cake to be sent up at a scheduled time. When that time came around and there was no cake I went down to investigate and no one even knew what was going on. They eventually did deliver it about an HR late. Parking was atrocious at $32/night Room service was great and the room itself was pretty good. In general hotel was nice and room was nice but staff were unfriendly and not accommodating.

A bit old but has excellent service.

Stayed in a two bedroom suite. This hotel is just lovely. It is old but we found it very comfortable with comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was friendly and kind. The area is close to everything although me being a chicken I wouldn’t walk around at night. Overall would recommend.

Old Hotel with old facilities, the suite I was staying in found hair on my pillow, and the cost was made me expensive for what it is.

This is the hotel is our hotel of choice when we go to Toronto. It's nothing special. The breakfast is pretty nice. Walls are a little thin though. If someone is talking in the hall you will hear it. This is why I always try to book a suit. Then there is a second set of doors between the bed in the hall.

Nice room, adequately clean. Staff were not friendly at all. Both during check in check out, staff were less than friendly and very unwelcoming. Definitely will not be returning because of this.

The room is big enough for four adults. It has two double beds, two sofa and a desk. Internet connection is good and fast. The location is convenient: within 30 min walking of most of the downtown main touristic points.

When you haven't been there in a couple years and you walk through the door and they know your name that's good enough for me. It's a super clean and most inviting place to stay. Perfect location. Close to the gay Village which is a safe place to walk.

Reading the reviews you really cant get a gage on the quality of the hotel. I stayed here 3 times with no complaints. Its a dated hotel, you can see the wear and tear, but they do their best to upkeep what they have. Room was tiny but comfortable, but lounge area was spacious. Had microwave, fridge and coffee maker, lots of towels in the bathroom — which was clean. The bed was clean, the room was very well put together. The only challenge I had was finding plugs for my electronics. Staff was helpful, but then again I didn't really need any assistance from them. Location is great for downtown. Conference area is spacious and accessible, we were provided with light breakfast with typical, fruits, pastries, drinks (coffee, tea and juices). Not sure if lunch was catered by the hotel but it was healthy with a few choices. I was travelling single but felt safe. I don't really have time to enjoy or use the amenities, so I cant really comment on them. Over all it was a nice visit. Like anything you really have to see for yourself as one person's dingy and small is another persons cozy and comfortable.

Customer service is good. The hotel itself is just okay. The rooms do not have fridge or microwave, which should be standard for the amount of money you pay for the room. The TV half the channels were not working and the room phone was also not working half of the time. The room was decent size. Nothing about this location says Ramada. I thought Ramada is supposed to be a premium hotel chain, either the standards have gone low or this location does not meet their own standards.

Creaky floors & a little more updating would be nice (especially pool change room area). The restaurant cannot accommodate a busy Sunday morning, I had to eat elsewhere. However, staff is great, rooms are clean with exceptionally good maid service. All staff are very friendly. Room is cozy, spacious with good views. I would come back.

Spacious rooms, staff available.

While I was just here briefly to meet up with friends who were in town it felt like a very welcoming and safe hotel. Slightly hard to access but aside from that a very good vibe. Professional and well designed but not overly fancy.

Stayed here because they allow dogs & I was in town for dog show. Looks like a former Holidome, as pool with slide was just off Lobby. Checking in smelled a bit like chlorine, but not too strong. Lots of families with younger kids, probably for birthday parties or family gatherings I would guess. Not tons of grass here, but enough to walk the dogs. Accidentally dropped a bottle of water on carpet near end of bed and had to sop it up with a bath towel. Carpeting was a little dirty on the white towel. Rooms are a very decent size in bed was comfortable. Would stay here again if traveling with dogs.

Old-fashioned, lifeless, expensive and disgusting parking.

Had fun very nice staff. Weird entrance from the back of the pool deck. Pull out couch was absolutely flat for the kids. Nice pool and hot tub. Ice machine in the parking garage.

The room was clean and spacious. The hot tub was was warm and relaxing. The location was within an easy walk to downtown as well as close to the streetcar and subway. Didn't get a chance to see the restaurant as it was closed.

Very small room for the price point, did not get the room we requested (paid for the king suite, was placed in a small queen bed with sofa bed, smallest on the floor according to their hotel map), no smoking options, and very intermittent Wi-Fi. Our room service, while quite tasty, took well over an hour to be prepared and I was informed I had to pick it up myself. The food was very tasty and within an acceptable price for room service, $45 for two dinners, no drinks or extras. The hotel had obviously been semi recently updated with nice furnishings and large TV which got many channels. The advertised pool and sauna are actually in the apartment complex next door, attached by a cat walk and open to the public with no area to lock belongings; we opted not to use it due to this. Overall, it was seemingly clean and safe, situated close to many sights, and with underground parking only (30$/night, also shared with apartments next door). We enjoyed our stay but will not be returning.

The conference rooms are good!

The service is good. The elevators are fast, the rooms very suitable with air conditioning and there is an underground parking. On the other hand, the latter is very expensive: $28/day and the pool really leaves a lot to be desired. Its deepest is 4 feet. The sauna and steam room take a long time to warm up (at least 40 minutes) and the pool towels are only available at the hotel reception which is still away from the pool once soaked and in bathing suit.

My room was wet, smelled like sweat, and the window was Pliens water droplets. I was asking for another room but the hotel got too crowded for the number of rooms. I would not go back never.

The room was OK but it seemed to have a slight smell. The pillows are fine if you dont like foam or any substance in the middle. While the hotel boasted fast Wi-Fi past the sixth floor it was intermittent at best. We stayed on the seventh floor and were lucky to keep a connection for a few min at a time. Also the "weight room, " has maybe two working exercise machines and a single dead lift bench. The pool isn't much better.

Was in the courtyard room for a work training session. Catering was amazing along with food selection. The staff were helpful with any questions we had and dietary needs. Will definitely be using the space again.

Decent hotel for the money. We walked everywhere to save on parking. Pool was ok, sauna good, didn't use the restaurant because of lots in the area. Decent if on a budget. Had better had way worse. Would return.

The beds where super comfy and the rooms where fairly nice. It was clean enough by my standards but I would probably still wear sandals in the shower. The food they serve is pretty Delicious and well presented. Huge portion sizes. The location is a little sketchy but it's nothing to be overly concerned about.

Decent hotel, not amazing but not bad, parking is very overpriced at 28$ a night, but very clean room polite front desk, overall great feel. Only complaints is that the Wi-Fi is atrocious, and the room has a strange smell to it, not bad, just strange. Would stay again!

Never staying here again! After showing up to find our confirmation not valid, an our payment requirements that had been taken care of over the phone earlier could not be found. We waited an hour and a half before finally getting everything sorted out (in that time the front desk clerks took "selfies" and played on the internet! We had to remind them several times to go check the status of our conformation). After entering our room to find out that it was not the room we originally had in mind but at this point we just wanted to get settled in an start our night in Toronto. Listening to music on our iPhone we ended up with a noise complaint with in the first half hour of being there. The front desk was far from polite! the second noise complaint was over the TV an us getting ready for bed the front desk clerk Scott screamed terribly at us an charged us with a 300 dollar fine for excessive noise then hung up on us without giving us a chance to even speak. At that point we were fed up so we went down to the front desk to resolve the issue, but again all Scott did was yell and threaten to kick us out despite our every effort to be civil. Needless to say we woke up and got the hell out of there and I'm contacting the head office! My advice stay at a Holiday Inn or a Comfort Inn I've never had a problem and the staff are always amazing.

It was the best hotel ever I visited. Staffs were so friendly and Sales Manager helped us a lot about price and conference rooms. I'd recommend this hotel anyone staying downtown Toronto.

Good location. Within walking distance to good restaurants and a cool area of town. Clean rooms and overall good service. The rooms themselves were not well sound insulated and I woke up throughout the night to other guest's inconsiderate loudness.

This place is awful. Horrible snobby guest service and the rooms are not that clean. They also want to charge 31 bucks just to park your damn car which is robbery. Park across the street where it's 10 bucks. I will NEVER book with ramada as long as I live. I do not recommend this hotel to a homeless person. Horrible experience.

Hotel restaurant was closed on a Saturday night. We were not impressed. The front desk staff was great and room was clean and comfortable.

Arrived at the Hotel they changed the room giving us free Superior, very large room with entrance hall. Paid parking $ 28 per night, but in the parking area obero is not, there are only paying car parks. Free Wi-Fi. There is also sauna and gym free of charge. Staff very friendly!

My husband and I recently came down on a Saturday with my two teenage kids for a night in Toronto. Our stay at the Ramada Plaza was terrific right from the moment we walked in. Great staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a very spacious 2 bedroom suite which we all loved! It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the beds! We had a great time and we'll be back again.

This hotel definitely needs an update, however we had a great stay here. Our corner room with sofabed was spacious and comfortable.

I booked a room for someone in my company. He did not get the kind of room that I requested and paid for. Room was not very clean and he said there was cockroaches in his bathroom. Also my requests for a invoice was ignored through email for a week, so I finally called and they sent it. Person on the phone (male) was very curt and unfriendly. So we will not be using this hotel again for personal or business.

Had reservations that had to be cancelled due to a funeral. The manager, Edwin, beat around the bush by never returning my calls and having is employees tell me he was never in which is complete bullshit. Never got my $300 back. Not showing up on the day of your reservations is one thing but having a funeral to attend is a whole different story. Horrible managment.

Beautiful room and a lovely area. Everything is close by. There is a park right across from the hotel. The rooms are really good, flat screen TVs and all the bathroom is so very sweet. I loved the hotel and I will definitely book here again.

Room smelled like an overflowed toilet, snooty staff, bad room layout, terrible Wi-Fi, crime ridden area.

Good location. The woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful in a rather odd predicament. Hotel room was excellent for the price. Elevators were very small and slow so it was quite awkward at times. There was an issue regarding credit card fraud, but we were well informed and did not have an issue with that. No major complaints.

Horrible service. I went there 2 days ago with a few of my colleagues and inquired about one of the suits we'd seen advertised online. When we asked if we could see the room the concierge took one look at us and told us he needed so see a credit card to "make sure" we could book the room. Mind you we are rather short and immature looking but that shouldn't have been a reason to be discriminatory.

Very dirty and run down. Our room reeked of weed and something else that I don't want to find out. The front desk staff at night was pretty rude. For the price, definitely not worth it.

This location will Litterally walk into your room while you are sleeping and Rob you blind. Also my visa was frauded 6000 by them. All or most of the employees are in on it. Confrontation won't help since they won't belive a word you tell them. I studied psychology and know when I'm being lied too. Also when you tell the manager that his employees broke in and he replies back with "No I don't believe you". Like wow seriously your even going to ask who is was or what happened. Clearly he is in on it too. So beware folks. Go somewhere else.

Older hotel but really clean. Near everything you want to see in Toronto. You also have a big grocerie store nearby and a subway station 5 minutes walking. For the price it was perfect. Was there with my 2 kids and everybody enjoyed. Pool and hot tub were ok too.

Accidentally left my debit card on the dresser there, and im not sure if its a maid or another hotel worker but the card ended up being used for over $700 of purchases in one day. So a huge safety factor: dont leave any personal belongings.

It was a great experience with friend of mine in Toronto city. We didn't have what we were looking for talking about bedroom but the one we got was clean and we spent good time in.

Will NEVER return! We booked with this hotel because they offered cribs for babies so we thought it would be family friendly. The elevators fit 1 stroller and me, no luggage or other guests, so we had to make multiple trips to get everyone and everything to our room. The ramp I had to use to get the stroller into the hotel does not have a door you can open from the outside. Thus you have to send someone inside to open it for you. The door is behind the front desk but no one ever offered to help us. The view we had was of garbage dumpsters over flowing. They knew we had 4 adults and a baby in the room but did not adequately stock the room (towels and toiletries). Had to get towels from front desk for the swimming pool and then go back up to the second floor. There was an EXTREMELY loud party across the hall from us. When I called down to ask them to break up the party since it was keeping my baby up and it was past 11pm, they said they could only call them and ask. I informed them that there was no way they would hear the phone due to the extremely loud music playing. They informed me they could not leave the desk as they were the only one working and security is not on site. When I told them how is it appropriate for me and my baby to not sleep all night, they told me I could talk to a manager to express my discontent. However when I asked to do that, they informed me a manager does not work on nights.

This hotel was surprisingly nice. The corner suite was spacious with a great view of the city. The hotel is older but well kept. The only negative is the pool and other facilities are in a neighboring building so its a pretty confusing walk from your room to the pool but all in all it was just what we needed for a weekend away.
