The new owners are very friendly and accommodating, they let us check in early at no extra cost and asked if we wanted a late check out on our last day at no extra charge. They have done tremendous improvements to the Motel and are continuing to renovate the rooms. The Motel is always busy with travelers, they have the best price around the Halifax and Dartmouth area. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed there last year and it served its purpose but wasn't what we'd call a nice motel. We were pleasantly surprised this time as they have renovated the rooms and had a coffee machine in the room now, new carpet, and comfy bed. The price was very reasonable and we asked for a late checkout and they didnt charge us extra. The location was perfect for us as we are on motorcycles and it was easy to get to and to leave for our destination next day. Would definitely stay again.

Well, so much to say! The kids and I stayed here it a month. It was clean, affordable (they offer a cheap monthly rate) and the workers are very nice and friendly there! The Wi-Fi does suck so much haha which is the only reason I gave it a 4-star, and you know, it's like any other place. You can't garuntee who is beside you in the other room and what kind of people they are. Had a scary issue concerning the room next door, but, no place can garuntee complete peace and quiet when they are continuously dealing with the public and people they don't know. It was clean, and provided a place for my kids and I to stay while waiting to get into a house so you have to appreciate the place for what it is.

Reasonable price. Close to amenities. But the room I stayed was at the corner and the Wi-Fi connection was poor.

The staff and owners were rude. The location sucks. 1 stairway from second floor seems like a fire hazard. This place is perfect if your a cockroach, bedbug or a dirtyball.

Clean and economical with better than average service and low price. Main problem is inadequate and inconvenient parking. No restaurant on site but surrounded within a block or two by a number of fast food establishment. Would certainly go back.

Nice rooms and prices are to bad owners are real nice so are the staff.

You're not aloud to back your car in. It's kind of sleazy but a good deal if you just need a place to sleep.

When there for work nice and quiet really clean the only bad thing is the Wi-Fi connection really pore but other than that it was good.

It's a stop over spot … with some comfort for the moneys worth. Not much to complain about. Overall OK. Organized and loaded with the necessity of a motel.

Lots of upgrade, in the hurts of shopping area, prices affordable, cleaning satisfactory. I am pleased.

Hotel was dated, incredibly dirty, bathroom smelled like piss, furniture stunk like cigarettes. Sketchy neighborhood. I think it may have been the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don't waste your money.

Kind of a dump. Bad location, cheap looking outside and inside. Strippers stay at the hotel regularly. Not for children.

Great location and much less expensive then other hotels/motels around. I stayed in a non smoking room with one queen bed on the 1st floor for 5 nights as I was in the area doing courses for work. I do smoke but who really wants to sleep in a room filled with smoke? I just stepped outside for a smoke. I needed quiet, clean and comfortable. Yes this motel could use updates but the staff is very friendly, the rooms are fairly big and cleaned daily by a very friendly maid, excellent air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi internet, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, very comfy queen bed, led tv, 2 tables with chairs, coin operated washer/dryer, many many restaurants/stores/shopping/bars/etc. Within short walking distance. Also, I never heard a peep out of anyone who stayed at this motel and it was full every night I stayed here. What else do you want?

Our room was not made after our first night, worn towels were not changed. We had to return them to the reception to exchange them for own. The smoke detector has been removed. There was no hot water at the bathroom sink but there was a bath/shower. The room is in urgent need of renovation. There is no soft drink vending machine. There is no cream or sugar for coffee in the room.

I have absolutely no clue why people claim the location is nice. It may be a 20 minute drive to downtown Halifax, but the area is pretty dumpy along the main road. Lets just say that alot of the businesses on this stretch are definitely not for children. The rooms are okay… just as you'd expect them. I recommend a one night stay… two might be unpleasent.

I did enjoy my stay but it truly needs to be updated. The tvs are the big back ones. I took my flat screen there and my android box and the internet was so slow that it didn't really work. Even netflix wouldn't work. The carpets need to be replaced. My overall experience wasn't bad at all. I liked it. Friendly staff, clean room and close to alot of things. I personally enjoyed being able to smoke inside instead of outside. I will book again but would love it if they upgrade sooner than later.

Website says $70/night. They charge $89.99/night & it's a dive.

It seems clean, smells good, very comfortable bed and quiet. My room had a microwave and fridge and was very large. Staff friendly and available. For these reasons I have been returning. The rooms need some maintenance. If you don't mind some peeling paint and not so good tub tiles, and the other things I mentioned are more important to you, you'll be happy.

If you enjoy wallpaper pealing off the walls, not being able to understand the people and pretty nasty bathrooms. Than this is the place for you! Don't bother staying here unless your desperate.

No heat. No hot water. Then called liars when we complained. Female staff yelled at us in the parking lot. When complained about that we were told she didn't yell its just the language barrier. No compensation for our issues. Do NOT stay here.
