Always love going to Marshlands Inn for celebrations. Meals there and so good!
My son held his wedding and reception there and it was lovely and the meal they provided was second to none. The accommodations are really nice too.

A fantastic place to stay or just to visit!

It's a Luigi Mansion mansion. Lots of dolls, paintings and antique furniture. Difficult welcome during supper. The owners are busy. But after getting our key, the rest went well. Air conditioning too noisy. A nice big spider in the bathroom at night but it was gone the next day… The children searched for him but to no avail.
We didn't go to the restaurant, the service seemed slow and we had a lot of road to go.
I give 5 stars because despite everything it was both a frightening and exhilarating experience. I recommend it 9/10. This is a memorable place for the whole family!

Historic very well kept inn, grounds and gardens in the back are immaculate, the 10:00 PM hot chocolate and go ger snap tradition is awesome, would definitely stay again.

Where planning to stay here. Very nice decorated. Historic building. Decided to go for something … newer.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Regal suite to mark the 40 anniversary of our first date which occurred when we went to dinner in July 1978 while attending a French immersion at Mt. Allison.

Very nice atmosphere and fine food and excellent service.

Charming hostel, excellent service, we took a package including dinner and breakfast, the food is worthy of a great restaurant. The rooms are modest but the country deco gives a nice character.

A few of us have been doing this every year for a few years after our very hectic but wonderful weekend at Mount Allicen area 1 Harmony inc compitition. Delightful breakfast elegant surroundings and a wonderful way to relax for our journey home.

Old world feel. Great dining. Cosy rooms. A pedigree second to none with the Queen herself gracing the Inn as a honored guest.

I read in several posts that the service was slow. It is the right amount of time to cook 5star meals. If you want fast… go to McDonalds! I found the service very friendly, diligent, and concerning. The service people checked our table a few times after we got the meal. This is a top end restaurant. I have been to 32 countries and this is right up there with the best. If this restaurant applied for a Michelin star, they would get it. I am super impressed and decided to honeymoon here after the wedding. The hotel itself was built in 1854 and the entire place has period antiques, artwork and long standing ties to the University. Several celebrities have stayed here including the queen! The rooms are exceptionally clean, large and many to choose from. You cannot find a better deal with the rooms at about $100 and a 5 star meal that cost roughly $t0 for 2 people. The servings were very large also. The seafood chowder is to die for. Well, your family and country are to die for but this is still very good. As a writer for Trip advisor, I recommend this establishment with the utmost confidence.

This place melted my heart. I felt that I am in a different world, that existed in my dreams when my grandparents were telling stories to the nephews. Nice to feel warm atmosphere and peace, to see childhood dreams in real life. Your kids deserve a such experience. Amazing people, no idea how they are able to keep everything at highest standards.

Great location! Delicious fresh organic food! Victorian style decor. Spacious, luxurious rooms. Fancy! Loveable host and hostess. Impeccable service! I will be back!

Beautiful place. Stayed in the same room Queen Elizabeth staying in when she was here. Huge room with private bathroom, very well appointed and shows off its era with the decore as well.

Lovely rooms and fantastic food!

Went for the last time a couple years ago, went out for our family Christmas supper and waited two hours for our food, by the time the food came none of us felt like eating… they never apologized or said we will give you something of your meal, all they did was stand and argue by our table… that was our last time …

Food excellent, but service terrible. Been there twice in the past two years on my trips home, first evening owner (? ) arguing with young waitress in front of our table about a menu item. Felt sorry for her, she was trying her best and if it hadn't been for that I would have walked out. This summer service was almost non existent at lunch time, not because of a packed dining room, there was only one other small table seated.

The whole experience was enjoyable.
