Older hotel — rooms are clean but the newer Holiday Inns are much nicer and more modern — gym is sadly lacking.

Excellent customer service and clean place.

I must say first off, I did not stay as I was only doing some research for my Hospitality class. The grounds were clean and inviting and it carried right on through the door. The welcoming atmosphere and smiling Desk clerk was lovely. He swiftly set to work answering all my concerns with genuine interest in me and my needs. In the end I left pleasantly impressed, Tuns of guest services and amenities at a good price. Again I did not stay but Mr. V at front desk definitely deserves.

The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, including the pillows with a choice of soft and firm. Breakfast is exactly what you would usually expect from any hotel. Rooms are quiet in the night. Bathrooms are large and clean with soap and other essentials prepared. Price is great and parking is easy to find. Free Wi-Fi.

Staff were really helpful in letting us use the breakfast space for a birthday in the evening. Thank you so much. What a wonderful time.

Tried to check in early, my co-workers were allowed. Had to wait a few hours while the room was being made. Not sure if it would of been a big deal to to just tackle that room first as there was no others in lobby at all waiting. First initial stay has not been good. I think this could of been handled much better. Rooms have definately seen better days, is an older Holiday Inn.

The whole staff is friendly and caring. But I love Connie, she’s nice and sweet. She’s like my mom away from home. Thank you.

Stayed 2 nights. Had the presidential suite and it was great. Room was clean and the pool and hot tub was a bonus. Breakfast was great, almost the same both mornings but, they did change up a couple of key items. Great place to stay. Elevator is slow.

The one worker was very nice but the one the next day was rude. We had to wait when checking in and out which each took 15 minutes. The room was quite clean except for some garbage under the bed and some hair in the tub… the workers were quite judgemental too and said that they were going to check our room before we left as if we stole or broke anything just because we looked as if we just crawled out of bed. Not a good hotel overall.

Found one of the workers there very friendly. Welcomed the people with a friendly smile and greeted you all the time. Asked if all was ok all the time. This was a gentlemen. Think the name was Ronny. Some of the women were not friendly at all. I also forgot to mention there was a lady that works in the breakfast room in the morning … I found her very friendly… co-operative and if you needed something she was there to help you out. Wish there were more kitchen people like her. I asked her what her name was she told me Cynthia good job. Will have to tell people to stay there.

Staff was great. Room was dirty. It hadn't been cleaned since the last person left. There was even socks left in the room. Not to impressed. Won't be staying there again for sure.

Had a great stay here in Vernon. The rooms are clean, staff are excellent and breakfast is very good. A special mention to Ronnie, the hotel maybe an excellent two star but Ronnie was five star. A friendly face, great tips for the area and excellent delivery of service. His customer service skills are priceless.

We went for a family Christmas reunion and the staff was amazing. Our family had 70% of the hotel rented out and we all had an amazing time. Everything was great in rooms, very clean, friendly staff and the continental breakfast was spot on. Very impressed.

Always a pleasure staying here. Typically the staff remember me as I am a frequent business traveler. The rooms are well kept, modern and we'll decorated. Typical big chain hotel feel but with superior customer service.

The staff was excellent! Right from check in to check out, the staff was top notch. The rooms were well kept and very clean. The breakfast served by the hotel was on par with the best hotel breakfasts I've had. There was a good selection and something for everyone. I really have nothing negative to say.

Stayed. Stayed st holiday inn vernon bc. Rooms were neat and clean service was good.

Usually good but this time we were beside a room with noisy kids. Had 2hrs sleep max. We asked to be relocated but they said they were full. Do not think they were full or tried very hard. Probably will look at something else next time.

Excellent place to stay in vernon. Nice rooms, good location, with a whirlpool, regular pool and fitness center. Would recommend.

Check in and check out was extremely quick and efficient. The person during check in was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, but the sinks (shower and vanity) were very slow to drain. The pool was a bit small and the water seemed murky. The pain lot was a bit small, since they shared it with another hotel. Overall, the room was quiet and the stay was enjoyable.

It was a very clean Hotel our room was nice the bed was comfortable I love the option of having a hard pillow or a soft pillow! I appreciated the coupon for a restaurant across the street I would recommend this hotel.

We booked a room at HIE for a wedding we were attending in Vernon. The hotel was pretty standard in its offerings, though we did not get to use the pool, fitness room or other amenities. The hotel and room were clean and updated. Breakfast offering was pretty standard (mediocre), with a pretty limited offering, but it was "free". What made this a 4 star over a 3 star experience was how accommodating the staff (particularly Monica) were to our tight timeline. Driving to Vernon the day of the wedding, we wanted an opportunity to freshen up before the event, and Monica had our room ready for a very early check-in. Our room location requests were also met perfectly. We had two issues that prevented this from being a perfect visit: One was arriving back at the hotel late at night and there was no parking available, so we ended up having to make our own spot. The second was that we went to breakfast near the end of the breakfast hours and the tables were filthy, littered with food and coffee cups, and didn't look like they had been cleaned once since breakfast started being served. Overall this was a good stop on our trip and we would stay here again, largely in part to the great staff.

Continental breakfast was much better than I was expecting, rooms are large and beds quite comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed there early June with Tour Group. Very welcoming staff. Rooms clean and spacious. Had dinner at restaurant. Staff a bit overwhelmed with numbers but food was worth the wait.

Lovely place to stay. The staff were very friendly and it was great to have a pet. We had a lovely room with an exterior door making it much easier with the cat. Very clean and the breakfast was wonderful!

Hotel is in the middle of renos but still a good experience. Friendly staff and clean room.

Decent place to stay. Hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but disturbance was very minor. The continental breakfast was good and starts early enough that you can actually sit down to eat it if you have early appointments. The fitness facility is pretty lacking, but there's a pool and hot tub. Rooms were okay, but nothing special.

The hotel is well located and the personal is very friendly. The rooms are incredible, and the beds are super comfy. Really nice place to stay in Vernon!
