Awesome place! Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms and view. Close to the lake and quiet.

The owners are great! Very accommodating to our needs. Beautiful scenery. Very nice grounds. Unfortunately the room was not as clean. Mainly the floor, especially around the toilet, as well around the kitchenette area. The kitchenette, where the cuttlery and pots and pans are had a very musty, moldy odor. Not sanitary at all. Hopefully this will be worked on.

The view is very beautiful, waterfront, bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is very nice. The owner make the muffins by herself, very fresh and delicious.

Nice and clean bbq patio nice view of Kootney lake short drive to Nelson. But prices were more expensive than places in Nelson.

Spent 5 nights here back in 2006 Always wanted to return I would recommend this place to to anyone These people make you feel like Family.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this resort. The name is very misleading and I would say it is more like a motel than a resort. The rooms are small, congested, and superficially clean. Upon our arrival the TV and phone did not work although the owner did come over and assist to fix things. Our unit came with a kitchenette, however it was minimally equipped with the cooking utensils and materials. The furniture, fixtures and blinds shows their age. The location is conveniently right on the main highway with the lake view not appreciated from within the room, however the mountains and rustic surrounding are what our view consisted of, would have been better to see the lake view. The entrance into the resort comes upon very suddenly and is easy to miss, we did. It is located between Balfour and Nelson so a little away from shopping and amenities, although there is a very pricy convenience store very close by. We went in February, winter time with lots of snow. Activities are more limited but still some options of walking along lake pathways, aquatic centre newly renovated and very nice, hot pools in Ainsworth to name some. We found our resort was priced a bit high for what we got. Complimentary breakfast is only offered in the summer.

Older but clean friendly and great breakfast in the morning.

It was worth the money wouldn't pay anymore than 99$/ night.

I live here because I'm going to school. Just yesterday it snowed and I was driving down the unshoveled driveway and I slid into the brick wall at the bottom in the drive way. A few weeks ago they had a frozen puddle at the bottom of the drive way and I almost slid into a school bus. The new owners seem to not care about the comefortability of their customers, they just care about their money coming in.

The new owner was amazing, she was so nice and accommodating for our family! The room was incredible, clean, comfortable, very nice. The view was wonderful. Weloved our stay there, and will definitely be back next time we visit the Kootenays!

Friendly place. Replaced the ac unit immediately after we told them it didn't work. On a hot summer day, they allowed our dog to stay inside.

Cute, well kept. We got a great deal on the soak and stay package. It's a beautiful area, and the owners are knowledgeable and responsive. It was $228 after tax for the weekend.

Good customers service, real clean place, democratic price (119cad$+ tax =139$cad$). Recommend it.
