My best friend and I went and stayed there 2 weeks ago now and they have double charged us, they will not return the money to my friends credit card. They keep telling us a day, but I think it’s to just end the call with us. It’s beyond unprofessional of them to do this! I’m NOT happy with your services. Please when going to them make sure you double check your payments, make sure they are not ripping you off!

Friendly. Fridge was not working they came right up and fixed the problem.

They phoned and told me they overbooked and said I was moving from a 2 queen suite (comes with a kitchen and pull out sofa) to a 2 king room. When I arrived we were given 2 hotel rooms, each with 1 king and no kitchen. Less and separated for their convenience. The worst was the kids screaming and running in the halls nonstop. I made 2 complaints but it didn't stop. They were literally playing hockey in the hall. Parents were drunk and unmasked blocking the elevator. You could smell the liquor. The hockey team left all their doors open and couldn't care about anyone else at the hotel. The shower door was broken and wouldn't open and close. Worst stay ever. Don't waste your money.

Our family had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for a long time and we did not regret it. This is a really great place to stay. We are appreciated. Excellent service, nice helpful staff! Recommended!

Amazing Place and quiet environment.

Very nice hotel, wonderful young lady who checked us in. She was genuinely interested in us. The room is great!

Newly renovated rooms. Clean and modern. Excellent free cooked breakfast. Free shuttle to and from airport.

Found a bug in the bed and they tried making us stay in said room until his supervisor came out and made him give us another sheets where stained and then when we got a new room we didn’t get to sleep till 2am and there was stuff left inside room there maid service is not doing there job and when talking to the manager she only offered 20$ to Tim Horton’s and said we brought the big in even tho we hadn’t went on the bed we dropped are stuff off and went out for the day and after taking the gift cards and saying we were still not happy with it they said because we took them they will not offer any other compensation would not recommend this hotel to anyone if your wanting gross rooms why would you pay 200 plus rather have slept in my car!

Really enjoyed the friendly service. Pool was clean and not too much chlorine. Breakfast was very good and had fresh pancakes and all that anyone could really want. Beds were soft and clean and pillows were excellent. The staff was very accommodating and helpful!

The hotel is good. Rooms are spacious and quite clean. We had to request upon arrival to change bedsheets as clearly they were not changed but they did it fast.

Poor communication and lack of care from the manager Karen. I would have given it a 1 star but “ Hate” is a strong word.

The room was fine but we were told when we arrived that there would be a shuttle service to the nearest sky train station and back. But when we returned on the sky train and called for a ride, we were told the shuttle service wasn't running. They told us if we took a cab back they will cover a portion of it. After that we were on our own. We still wanted to go out and do stuff but couldn't get the free shuttle to the nearest sky train or anything. Pritty disappointing.

Our overall experience at the hotel was great, it was a busy weekend there as they had tournament teams staying at the hotel. Room was clean and the hotel in general was very tidy. Although we were not informed of the deposit being taken prior to arrival it did work out, I would notify guests in the future that a full nights deposit is taken the day before arrival. All in all a decent visit and we would stay here again when we are in town.

Received an excellent price on rooms when I booked. Gym equipment was terrible and un-repaired months after I mentioned it more than once. Pretty much half the price of any place else though — very economical and the staff are friendly.

As a professional who travels regularly I have found this is one of the best. Extremely clean with wonderful rooms. Breakfast is very good and the staff are very helpful. They even have you covered if you forgot your toothbrush! 5 stars all the way. If you plan on being in Richmond this should be your place. Only con was the pool was a bit cloudy.

A very reasonable hotel. They have a large number of rooms for group stays. Their suites are all equipped with microwaves and many have small kitchenettes. The decor is standard holiday inn, with some art and pale tones. The views are largely the surrounding parking lots and buildings of the Riverport district. They have an abundant continental breakfast and have a mini store on site for snacking. Parking is abundant and they are on one bus route. There are a few restaurants in the area. Service staff are polite and willing to assist, though we had some confusing conversations with the night managers. The pool and fitness areas are clean and bright, though the fitness room has a low ceiling which would make it stuffy with too many people. They have onsite coin laundry for long stays and bookable meeting rooms.

Location not too far from YVR in Richmond. Nice rooms at a decent price with a small hot breakfast included; can't go wrong. Hotel also has a pool, area to work out and guest washers and dryers (no need to pay HIGH hotel laundry rates) $2 for a load of washing then $2 to dry! Great deal. Lit parking and a shuttle if needed.

Room was ok, had what we needed. The bed was to hard for my liking but the pillows made up for it. Continental breakfast was great had a hot breakfast every day, and there was a decent selection of foods, I really liked the kitchen staff as well. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating and friendly, with a smile waiting for you (some of the front desk staff could take some pointers from them, not all but some) overall I enjoyed my stay.

Super convenient if you are at a tournament for the rink. Hotel had everything I needed. Breakfast was good (started 630 sooner would have been better for me but no big deal). Coffee wasn't great but was always available. Hotel held bags after checkout and let me go to the pool for a swim and shower before my flight. Would recommend.

Fantastic service. Breakfast was great even though it was really busy. Hotel was busy overall with some hockey teams at the hotel for a tournament — however, the hotel did not seem overly crowded or noisy. Workout room was adequate and pool was great — nice heated pool with a nice Jacuzzi tub. Location of the hotel was great as well at the Riverport Entertainment Centre. Very lively location but not too loud.

Very quiet and pleasant location, a bit far from downtown Vancouver but easily accessible with a rental car. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Really nice stay!

Stayed 4 weeks on business. This hotel was awesome. The staff were very professional and helped immediately when asked for help. The rooms were very clean and the beds were pillow top and comfortable. The suites have separate bedroom with full kitchen and large smart TV in living room and bedroom. Never heard noise from my room. Really enjoyed the dining room and morning hot breakfast. Seemed very popular with all the guests. They thought of everything a guest would want. Loved the indoor swimming pool water was not cold and hot tub was very clean. Would definitely stay here when traveling back to the Vancouver area again. Close to everything and best restaurants nearby. Top rated hotel.

Very good breakfast Perfect location on the side of a Cinema and restaurants and it is very close to Steveston. Even a Keurig in my room with Timothy Cafe.

Great room with mini fridge and microwave. When we had our privacy hanger out they slipped a note under the door reminding us they couldn't clean our room that day and if we had any questions to call. While we were there they decorated the lobby for Halloween and the kids loved it. Decor was nice. Staff was friendly. The only issue would be the pillows. They bought pillow cases that say "firm" or "soft" in prominent letters. 7 out of 8 of our pillow cases said "firm", 1 out of 8 pillows was firm… With the amount of laundry and pillows in a hotel I don't know who thought that would work.

Clean, friendly and cost efficient. Rented the grand suit and it was missing a few small items. They put an air freshener in the hallways which is nice but very strong and kind of burns the nostrils. 1st world problems, I know. But I would gladly go back.

Room was ready when I got there. Staff were professional. Pool and hot tub were nice, my room was conveniently very close to the conference room. The food they provided was very good.

Clean rooms and hallways. Complimentary breakfast is very high quality with a wide variety of juices, omelets, bagels, cereals, yogurts, and more. Pool is a nice size. Laundry room takes coins. High social and professional marks on all staff from the front desk, maids, and breakfast area.

Part way into my stay and all is well. Clean and comfortable hotel, spacious rooms and good breakfast selection. Need a car to get around but cinema complex next door and sports arena with a restaurant. Shops and dining 5 minutes away by car. Would recommend and stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and furnished with modern-ish decor. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The price was more expensive then what I would normally go for, but at the quality it was worth every penny.

I haven't stayed at this Holiday Inn. So why am I reviewing it? Because I had to cancel a reservation which was non-refundable. I had extenuating circumstances which Holiday Inn was under no obligation to take into consideration. But the manager at this hotel was extremely understanding and sympathetic. She understood that I would be back in Vancouver in a couple years most likely, and just said "we're not going to hold onto your money. Hope you stay with us when you're back in town! " We certainly will. That's a great way to build customer loyalty. Instead of keeping a few hundred bucks and building resentment, make an investment in future business. Thank you Holiday Inn, and thanks to that wonderful helpful lady!

Very new Holiday Inn Express. It is right next to a movie theatre. Everything in our room was clean and in working order. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and had a wide variety. There were milk, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, omelette, pork sausage, turkey sausage, bagel, toast, English muffins, potatoes, and a pancake machine. I would stay here again. Remember to bring your swimsuit, there is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub.

Very beautiful rooms and great complimentary services. Pretty expensive but you get value for you money. I recommend for a large family of 5 like mine, their suits are beautifully designed.

The room is very nice and big, internet speeds have been a little hit and miss but mostly good. They also have a good morning breakfast considering its not a full sit down and order place. I would recommend this for stays for business purposes.

Very comfy beds. Breakfast was great as well. Omelettes, sausages and plenty of breads. Only stayed a night, but would definitely stay again. Very clean and easy to get to from the airport.

The Jnr suites are great for a family of four — a wall separating where you sleep… and TWO TVs are a bonus with kids. Small pool area but it was very quiet so we had it to ourselves. The cleaning staff were lovely and helpful. The FREE breakfast was very good with a pankcake machine! There are a lot of fun things to do with kids right next door. The only thing that bothered us were the noisy doors, people just let them slam… like our neighbors every 5 mins… they could do with slow closing ones.

I am currently staying in the hotel and am not overly impressed … it's NOT for family's The rooms only have showers with glass doors, Very inconvenient with a todler also the hotel maid forgot my soap and shampoo so when I called to have some brought up the lady said "sure we will be right up " after about 45 mins of waiting called back and she informed me I would have to come grab the stuff myself … well it was 10 at night with my daughter I had been waiting so long already. I was tottally pist off. There is no wine either What kind of hotel doesn't have wine you can buy? fucking Ghetto one! NEVER staying express again clearly not family friendly.

Employees permit out of control children playing soccer in the hallway. They had great fun screaming and bouncing the ball down the hall with hockey sticks right past a uniformed hotel employee. Guests) Parents) apparently of the type that thinks the world is made only for their children with no thought of the comfort of others. Worth paying more to stay elsewhere where young thoughless parents are priced out of the market and where hotel employees are properly trained to stop such behavior. Update… Sunny today but children still allowed to run wild in hallway bouncing balls and screaming, even though there is a huge empty parking lot across the street the size of a football file. So, rain is no excuse this time for bad parenting and indifferent hotel employees. This is how "entitled" adults are made, by bad parenting.

The hotel is in really nice condition and is very clean. The conference room can get very warm when full of people and due to its location by the elevators it can get a little noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and accomodations were fairly priced.

We loved this hotel. They were extremely accommodating for our soccer team and the location is great. Thanks for having us.

Nicest holiday inn express ive stayed in. Executive suite rooms are modern, new, and clean. Super friendly staff. Nice pool for kids and hot tub. Basketball.

Rooms were clean and tidy, easy to find location. Bit of noise since it is on a flight path close to the airport but perfect for the price.

Don't believe all of the high reviews. This place is nothing special. Pros: Relatively new building Nice rooms — for a HI express Cons: Location — far from everything Price — Not competitive for such a remote location Parking — Lots of guest parking taken up by non guest vehicles. Had to park in public lot. Staff — Mediocre at best. Polite but disinterested and unhelpful. Bottom line — Lots of better choices in Richmond for your money.

Had a good stay in this hotel. There was free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, pool, and a gym. I enjoyed those features and I hope to come back. There is a movie theater next to the hotel which is nice.

I had a nice stay here whilst on a course for work. Biggest negative was the location: while there is a theatre, bowling alley, ice rink and swimming facility next to the hotel, there is absolutely nothing else nearby. Place is in the middle of nowhere.

I frequently stay at this HIE because they provide best deal on parking when I fly away from YVR on vacation. Staff and management are professional and very accommodating. Rooms are modern and clean. Complimentary shuttle van/ bus from the hotel lobby to YVR is super! Complimentary breakfast is included and has a good selection of hot and cold items.

There's nothing bad about this hotel. It was comforting and I did not want to leave Richmond! The hotel is located in a quaint, quiet little area next to a neighborhood. It's so serene. The hotel staff is very helpful for us tourists. They were able to give us all the info about downtown Vancouver and they even gave us a few discounts to local attractions. The hotel is very clean and I expected nothing less of Holiday Inn. The breakfast is delicious and has a bit of variety as well.

Very good hotel, excellent value and service. We had the misfortune of arriving together with an –unorganized — group that occupied the front desk for a very long time, although guest services tried to do their best for a swift check-in… the groupleader made sure we had to wait nearly 15minutes before we were able to check-in. With this hotel being in the proximity of Vancouver International Airport and the large number of cruiseships having their turnaround homeport in Vancouver makes that groups are common at this property. The front desk staff seemed very able and prepared to accommodate groups, in this particular case it was the group leader causing a chaos so the hotel could not be blamed for the delay. Once it was our turn we were ready to go within a couple of minutes. Check-in was friendly, professional and recognized my IHG loyalty with 300 welcome bonus points. We reserved a Junior Suite which answered to all our wishes and provided us everything for a comfortable stay. I wanted to use the fitness facilities but that adults only zone was opened by some parents so that their children could use it as a playground… I found this to be irresponsible and very disrespectful to other guests, however a hotel cannot be blamed for the behavior of its patrons. The fitness area has a scale so that your luggage can be checked for excess weight.

I stay at this hotel frequently and it is always a positive experience. The rooms are large and clean and the staff friendly, well trained and go out of their way to be helpful. The location is just off the main highway from the US, close to the airport and surprisingly accessible to many locations in the Vancouver area. The Hotel parking lot is on the small side but there is ample free parking for any size of vehicle in the lot for the theater complex which is immediately adjacent to the hotel. As it is a HI Express it is not a luxury property but a good example of a newer, well run hotel in this chain The only slight criticism that could be made is that the breakfast room is on the small side when the hotel is busiest. This is offset by the fact that there are a large number of breakfast choices.

Great location, decent front desk staff (though they weren't helpful in locating a local pool hall, or other things, and the reception was rather tepid at best), recognized my Platinum status and upgraded me to a suite in the new construction part of the hotel (smallest suite I ever stayed in). Ice maker is on floor 2 (no one mentioned that when they asked which floor I wanted), parking is limited, breakfast was more modest than most HI Express that I stay at. If you need easy access to Highway 99, this is perfectly decent spot a mile off the highway, past a little farmers market and nothing else. The plaza it is in has some small entertainment, better amenities past the highway.

First impression was that Front Desk staff at Richmond, Canada location was extremely willing to assist to get me a room in an emergency when the facility is almost fully booked. They had to shuffle things around and got me in, and I was very proud to be associated with this great Holiday Inn system of International Hotels as a Platinum member. Hotel is new and I must say that the bed was very comfortable — no lumps or turning and tossing. So had a great night sleep. The complementary hot breakfast was excellent too — great way to start the day without hunting for food in other places at additional cost. Parking is free. This hotel was also very competitively priced, lower than other comparable hotels around YVR airport. Overall, a good value and will definitely stay there again or recommend it to friends.

We stayed at this hotel because we came for a wedding. We found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. It is in great shape. The room was clean and fresh. Nicely decorated. We also enjoyed going to a movie at the IMAX which is just a walk across the parking lot. That was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people who are staying in the area. One of the things that I really liked about it was that it was not in the heart of the city, slightly out of the way and yet very accessible and we could quickly get to wherever we wanted to go. 5 star.

Had a really nice stay. Very helpful staff, reasonable price, great location, modern facilities large room. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Great Wi-Fi speed. Would be great for family, located in the heart of entertainment complex.
