While the rooms and the hotel are quite beautiful, the service at this hotel is the worst I have ever seen. My grandma booked a trip for my whole family OVER A YEAR in advance. They didn't have most of our rooms available when we arrived. They also messed up on all of the credit card deposits. Only one of our 11 rooms had the correct charge. Some people were charged over $1000 just as a deposit. All of our bills were supposed to be on my grandma's bill as a treat to us but they messed up and charged everyone individually which caused my grandma a large amount of distress. After spending 3 hours each day of her vacation spent trying to deal with the finance issues, they even tried to kick her out of her room a day early. Oh I also don't want to forget to mention their hotel restaurant took over 2.5 hours to get our party of 17 their food while there was absolutely 0 other people in the restaurant. They also messed up and brought 4 of us the wrong dishes and the food was terrible.

Pros: Good getaway from the city. Hot springs pool is always nice. Staff members mostly friendly. Their gift certificate makes a great present. Cons: Facility is getting old though and needs an update like carpets, walls etc. Not a lot of soundproof so you can everyone talking and walking in the hallways. Room is always missing some sort of amenities when I’m here — robes or coffee.

Harrison Hot Springs Resort provided the IDEAL break from the city while we visited Vancouver for a week. The rooms in the main, older building are small but comfortable and equipped. The views from nearly every point on the property are amazing. The springs themselves are clean and relaxing — nestled in the beautiful scenery putting you completely at ease. We stayed on a Thursday evening (right after a conference and right before the weekend rush). I would recommend booking a weekday reservation if possible. Late night in the indoor hot spring and an early morning dip in the adult pool before check-out really sealed the deal. Harrison is an adorable little village with yummy food and good beer. Thank you harrison!

The staff were inviting and friendly. I felt like I could relax on my vacation here. The hot springs were amazing and had a great view. Our room experience was not the best. Half of our electricity didn't work in the room. We had an engineer come and try to fix it but ended up with an extension cord going across the floor in order to use our lamp and tv. The bed was comfortable. I had a good time. If you have to go to the washroom when you check out prevent it… before you depart make sure you go before you check out. Staff of the hotel and stores in the area will not let you go to the washroom unless you are checked in or buying something and make it very clear.

Harrison Hot Springs seems like a world-class Hot Springs but has a very old feeling Hotel. The rooms are cheap and reflect well with a service. You can bathe in the hot springs late at night and they cut children off at 11 so you can enjoy there from 11 p. M. Till about 1 a. M. Without children around. You can also bring your own alcoholic beverages in there as long as they're not in glass containers.

Great customer service experience. I didn’t come on a weekend so luckily the pools weren’t too busy but I could imagine it being way too busy on the weekends. The pools aren’t that big so beware. Our room was nice (west wing). Beautiful location, right on the lake, opportunity for a nice walk and some exploration and even a swim in the lake if it’s summer. Breakfast is a rip off. $22 per person and they expect a tip as they have waiters carrying around tea/coffee. Was very pricey for average food in my opinion. Walk down the esplanade to a cafe instead.

Pools are very nice and the water is from a natural hot spring. Hotel facilities are a bit old. Walls are very thin, you can hear other guests snoring. You can stay at a nearby hotel and just come in for the pools too. The pools are nice, but the other guests aren't the most considerate. Overall very nice resort.

Pretty classy place. Amazing hot springs! Sometimes some people get in the door without paying for the hot tub though. The wine was delectable and there was quite a bit to do in the little town. I really liked the beach that looks like it was man made. It was very big and lots of fun people were there. I will be going back again, and it is so close to Vancouver!

The location is lovely. The pools are great and the staff is super friendly. There is a lot offered here. Being an older hotel the the rooms are dated which is fine. The beds are hard but there are lots of pillows to prop up with. My only complaint is the lack of gluten free food.

Stayed here for 2 nights in April and absolutely loved it. We stayed in a cabin away from the main resort, it was well equipped with a bedroom, bathroom and living room with fridge, sofa, TV and fireplace. It was very clean and quiet. The highlight of the stay was the pool area, with 5 pools, all filled with natural hot springs spa water, ranging from warm to hot. There were plenty of sun loungers to relax and enjoy the sun, and we had a lovely soak in the spa in a hot springs spa water bath. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing weekend away.

The main purpose of our trip was to get a relaxing and pleasing afternoon and night. We drove two hours to be extremely disappointed. We paid an exorbitant amount for a small dark room which barely canceled the noise from the outside allowing the yelling and whaling from children outside to interrupt our sleep. The main attraction (hot spring pools) were lukewarm at best. The best of the bunch was the indoor adult pool which was too small and invaded constantly by loud obnoxious brats under no adult supervision. After the disappointing pool experience, we decided to sit down for a small meal and drink at the bar. The view was decent but the food, if it can be called food, was insulting at the least. After two bites and a couple of french fries we started to feel sick and decided to abandon our meal in order to avoid spoiling what was left of our evening. The lack of attention by the staff is concerning only the guy at the valet who directed us to the parking area made us feel welcome and valued. Other things we noticed and concerned us were the lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms in the pool area. In the ladies restroom, there was toilet paper everywhere and the dirty ground made the restroom unusable. Meanwhile, in the male's restroom, the ground was flooded as the pipe behind the toilet was leaking. Finally, at the checkout, we were dismissed when commenting on the unsatisfactory stay in a manner that reinforces our belief to never return to this "resort".

Aging facility. Pools have some hot spring water pumped in but they are chlorinated and diluted to the point where the "hot spring" marketing is just marketing. Trails in the area are nice but not maintained, making them more difficult than they need to be. Robes provided are cheap and tiny (even the special requested XXL) and I was definitely not the biggest guy there. Food is expensive in hotel and medium quality. Eat elsewhere. Most breakfast places do not open till 10am outside of the hotel. I enjoyed the short drive to "Horn of plenty" for a quaint economical cooked breakfast and good coffee. Scenery is spectacular which is why I rated it as high as I did.

My time in the Hot Springs was great. I honestly was only in the pools for 15 minutes over my three day stay. BUT, I enjoyed my time at the resort and the neighboring area a lot. It is a very quaint town with lots to do… until early evening. This is not your bar and or nightclub destination. That’s okay though. Relaxation was exactly what the doctor ordered and the people I met were as top notch as that. Enjoy your time and don’t forget sandals… I did.

A fabulous resort with really friendly staff and the facilities are wonderful. The breakfast is really well done and the seating is great. Parking is easily accessible in the rear. The hot springs pool is so peaceful and you have a nice walking area around the resort as well. You could easily go hiking all around or walk along the beach. There is a weight room as well as an indoor hot springs on rainy days.

Love the outdoor pools! We went this past weekend in February and it was snowing. It's an amazing experience to swim in hot springs water and have the beautiful views of the snowy mountains and snowflakes falling upon our head. We were placed in the main hotel which is quite old. Reminds me a bit of the Shining, but it was roomy as we had two rooms, one with a queen bed and table and chairs, and the other with 2 twin beds. This configuration was perfect for my 20 month old who sleeps at 630. Washrooms were clean, except the tub was a bit rust at the drain. That's my only complaint of the hotel.

Rooms can be a little small and dated but the hot spring pools are well worth it. Very relaxing. The area looks great in the winter after a fresh snowfall as well. On site dining is convenient and above par. Well priced for a weekend getaway.

Location and hot spring pools are beautiful. The hotel is dated and really could use some updating. The main areas are nice but rooms show wearing and need maintenance. Food was decent. Really you go here for the view and the pools… Both of which are fantastic!

Room was great. Staff very friendly — showed us to our room. Made sure we had everything we needed. Brought my dog who was welcomed everywhere in town. He loved running the beach and slept well in our room. Check in was allowed 2 hours early which we really appreciated. Easy check out at 11. Only downside was there is no pool but your steps away from the public pool. I'd definately go stay there again.

An incredible location set on the lake in between the mountains. We stayed for a night just to soak in the mineral pools. The staff were all really kind and helpful and made the experience all the more better. The rooms in the West wing were simple and clean and in great proximity to the pools. Even with a big conference here it didn't seem too busy. Going in January is lovely with the snow and the rain.

Cétait a very good rest in Harrison. The hot springs were very hot and it was perfect in the rain. I'll be back in a month with my girlfriend.

A wonderful place, the special environment to relax and unwind. Reminds Me of south of my beloved Chile.

Love the heated pool outdoor, especially the adult only side, you can have booze in a plastic cup. The hotel interior is dated, but clean. The room overall is comfortable, spacious and clean. The baby crib provided fits right between the 2 Queen beds, it is like the size of a mini crib. Their buffet breakfast was decent, good varieties of pastry, hot and cold items. Suitable for couples, family and friends vacation.

We booked the family room and initially got a double bed with two twins. Room was very small and was oriented next to the very noisy fan. As we were there with a young baby I asked at the front desk to have a room change which they did without any problems or guilt. Our second room was much bigger and we preferred it as it had no noise and it comes with a king bed. It is located in the main building which was built long time ago so the floors are a little bit cracky but nothing too too bad. After all we came here to use the amenities which were excellent. They have lots of outdoor hooves that are family friendly and a separate area for adults which is very enjoyable. They have two indoor pools which were amazing and we mostly used them as one of them had great decorations and was very warm. We believe that is the warmest one. They are all pumped from the natural springs. Hotel is very clean and staff is very happy. You do get to stay at the pools after checkout which was very nice. Area is very busy but they have lots of Resort amenities such as parking, room service, great movie selection, and other great options. Some of the pools stay open till 1 a. M. For adults only and that is great once kids go to bed.

One of favorite weekend getaways. Beautiful hot pools and and mineral spas. Rooms was clean and spacious. Have stayed many times. Front desk staff could be a little friendlier hence my lower review. The hotel was very busy and the pool security was a little over zealous, barking rules at patrons. However the pools make up for any of the staff. Starbucks in lobby and excellent lake views. Very relaxing.

Amazing outdoor pools. But staff need to do more to enforce the rules. There were parents throwing their children into the 'quiet, no jumping' indoor pool and rowdy people lying in the chairs on our patio after dark. Took away from our relaxing holiday with my Mom, sister and Grandmother. Also, they need to make the balcony doors lockable from the outside. Defeats the purpose of being poolside when you have to go all the way through the hotel to get to the pools. Extremely thin walls and gaps under the doors. There were children running through the halls and it was as if they were in our room. Also, check-in took forever. They really should do something to address this. Best beds I've ever slept in… all of us agreed that they were amazingly comfortable!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Very helpful staff, friendly environment and the hot springs are so relaxing! We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and felt like absolute royalty! The staff actually promoted guests getting to know one another and we made some very good friends during our visit. The level of accommodation they give is something I have never had at a resort before and we will definitely be returning again!

The mineral hot pools are great for relaxing in — especially during winter. Adult only pools and cooler kid friendly pools and both in / outside pools mean there's one for everyone. A great place to go to just relax. The rooms themselves are nothing special — although I have never stayed in the East Tower which is newest. They are comfortable though and fairly clean and am happy to stay there. They restaurants are very good although can be pricey.

Harrison Hot Springs Hotel has been in my life since a child. They do a pretty good job with everything. Some notes though. There are only 2 "hot spring" temp pools. One inside and one outside. The one outside is surrounded by buildings and a wooden covered walkway. So if I want to enjoy the amazing view of the mountainous forest behind the resort, I have no choice but to use the childrens pool. Which is not hot at all. The lobby looks amazing and opulent. Then I enter my out dated room with marks on the wall. It would be nice if the money spent on the hotel was to fix the issues in the room I'm paying for. Like a water damaged lamp and marks on the wall. Its not a huge deal. But it does reduce the classy level. We asked for 4XL robes, they sent us 2XL. So that's annoying. For a resort that deals with pools, they really don't make it easy to get a dry towel.

Been there 4 times. Love the pools. Spa massage was good too. Copper Room dining was excellent. Beautiful views. Lovely lake waterfront with plenty of boutiques and cafes. Boat rentals and charters too. Don't miss brunch in the Lakeside Cafe.

The view was nice outside the resort but the resort itself was not a good experience. The hot springs is barely room temperature, I was cold sitting in the pool. It felt more like a pool than hot springs. Kids everywhere so lots of chlorine feel and didn't feel clean. The pools are not big enough for the amount of people that are staying there. The indoor hot tub was the only nice temperatured one but extremely crowded. We stayed at the main hotel which is super outdated, carpets are old and the bed springs were loud. We could hear people walk upstairs. Overall I paid $180 ($10 parking) to barely use the resort and ended up sitting in and watching TV. I felt that they should have at least supplied the two bottles of water for free especially if it's supposed to be hot springs. The robe they supply for the pools were super thin and itchy.

2nd time being here and it's always an amazing experience. Beautiful views of the pools from our room and the service was impeccable. The bar downstairs serves the amazing snack food and I only wish we ate at the Cooper Room. We went by a few times and the music coming from their made it so magical, so beautiful. Although the rooms are small and kinda dated. The pools bottoms are rough, this resort is a gem.

We are repeat customers and was amused at the reviews. If you want Quiet and few kids just go in the winter. This is a classic resort and enjoy it for what it is. Take the grandkids in summer and husband in the winter, for a quiet romantic get a way. Mid week is also quieter. Having said that, the one thing is true. Kids and loud groups in the adult pool area is unacceptable. It is true the security guards need to be more responsive to that. If you choose the old part of the hotel, as we do, don't expect the top notch suite. Just relax, enjoy the pools, and the lobby.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and it was such an amazing experience! We did the bed and breakfast with dinner in the Copper room which was also amazing. The food was very good and the band was great! Pools were awesome! We had buffet breakfast in the lakeside terrace and the food there was also incredible. Going back in a month, we loved it!

Awesome place to relax. Spa and massage are a must. Pricey. Wait for the deals or go midweek for the best prices. The old section of the hotel is cheaper, but the new sections have better views. Love this place. If there is a wedding or convention, it could get a little loud.

We stayed at the West Tower Executive Suit and it was great. The view from the room was nice and the room was clean and updated with tiled shower and granite counter tops in the bathroom. The diner at the Copper Room was delicious with live music and dancing. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Location was perfect, right on the Lake. Our room had a beautiful view! Everything was clean, and we had our own bathrobes. The service was excellent. Everyone was kind and helpful. The only thing was that the channels didn't match what was on the guest guide. Also, not very many channels available.

The resort and pools were nice and we really enjoyed our stay until the night time when we decided to go to the indoor pools at about 11PM. There was a large group of drunk and rowdy people who brought alcohol with them and were super loud and disturbing to the other guests. I could see that not only our group, but other guests at the pools were feeling quite uncomfortable with their presence. We were most disappointed when the security guard came by to patrol and we thought he was going to do something about it. Instead of that, all he did was tell them to keep it down and then even chatted/laughed with them together and giving them a high-five! We thought that the security guard was super unprofessional and didn't do his job properly. The stay would've been so relaxing and nice for us if it weren't because of this occurrence! We will definitely have to reconsider paying so much to come to a resort for a relaxing experience if this is the kind of service we get.

It was great! Mind you we did not stay in a room but we Did make use of the other amenities. The hot springs themselves are excellent, and so are the staff. The food was also good. Just from looks alone I would say it is one of the higher end joints in Harrison, you can't really go wrong here.

The spa was very outdated. It was probably awesome 30 years ago or whenever it was built, but it's nowhere near as awesome as other spas out there. Scandinavian Spa in particular stands outout. Outdoor pools aren't warm, don't have a view, and are really small. Indoor pool was good, not great. Small size. Experience was very underwhelming.

Great building, clean and well kept. The atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are awesome. If you are hoping to get out on the lake killers kove and harrison water sports are right across the street.

Excellent location. Amazing view. Lakeside restaurant has excellent servers and good food. They raised the cost of brunch buffet and decreased the assortment. Overall great experience and impressed visiting relatives.

My girlfriend and I were at the spa celebrating being together for 5 years by doing g the couples massage. It's a wonderful experience with access to the healing pools before and or after your massage. Excellent reception staff and above expectation for the service and care provided by our massage therapists. After leaving I felt a complete ease off all stress and agitation. I would defenetly go there again and would recommend others as well.

Just got home from a short getaway at Harrison Hot Springs Resort. Received excellent service from Cathy at the reception desk who promptly let us know of the upgrade we could have in our room choice. The view from our balcony was stunning of the lake and it was very quiet. Great dinner at the Copper Room which was complimented by the great service from Martin. All in all, great value for the price and totally relaxing. Thanks to you all.

Really nice resort! The area is absolutely stunning and the hotel delivers on taking enjoyment of the area to the max. Hotel is right on the lake delivering great views and convient proximity to the small town of Harrison Hot Springs. Hotel rooms are well appointed, the 5 pools are all fantastic. Staff is incredibly friendly. Just a nice place to go and relax and enjoy a day or two.

Uncomfortable beds, nice hotel. Beds leave a lot to be desired with saggy mattresses and flat sheets as the bottom sheet that expose the mattress. Had to use bathrobes on top to stay warm enough! Pool was fantastic. Spa was overbooked despite us preordering a couples massage. They claimed it was a huge bridal party — frustrating.

A really nice Hotel with access to the lake, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, definitely a destination for a relaxing stay in the hills of Harrison Hotsprings, nice staff, good food, and luxury feel. Comfortable beds and nice rooms, would gladly stay here again and again.

I love everything about Harrison Hot Springs Resort. The only thing I would change it the poor Wi-Fi internet which currently drags along at a snail's pace making it difficult if you're coming up from the US and don't have cell service here since all alternative communication relies on the web. Internet is so bad on this Sunday night I can't get my email to load and was barely able to get on here to post this review. Other that that issue everything has been great! Rooms are nice and clean, pools really fancy and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Four out of five stars.

The pools were amazing and relaxing. Games room is great but was packed all the time. I would have loved it if there was some form of sign up sheet or at least a te limit for its use. Cleaning staff and concierge provide excellent and friendly service. I didn't get warning though that a $200 deposit would be charged upon check in. Otherwise, I would have budgeted this. Overall, a really nice hotel to stay in.

This is the first time we've brought our kids with us so I thought I'd review from their perspective. They said they loved it! The absolutely loved being able to visit the pools repeatedly. They also really enjoyed tea. Or was a great get away for the family.

Pools are a highlight. We stayed here during spring break. We had a great room overlooking the pools, could get a bit noisy in the evenings. Wish they had more staff patrolling the pool areas and enforcing some if the rules. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the lakeside cafe, fresh food was always being brought out, great omelette station. Wifi was sub par.

This hotel is very dated but still worth while. We stayed in the east tower as the other sections are decades older and look the part. We had a great view of the lake. The rooms, pools and restaurant all look very dated but provide great service and decent quality. We had dinner at the Copper restaurant and it was good, if a little over priced. I'd suggest picking up some snacks and liquor before settling in.

While at the hotel, I had a room in the old part of the establishment. The room was clean and comfortable. The floors were quite creaky and woke me up a few times during the night. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. The restaurant was great, breakfast buffet was good, check in was a breeze, and otherwise everything was quite enjoyable.

Harrison Hot Springs is a run down hole. Their pools are disgusting and over clorinated/crowded and they could care less about their guests. We stayed there for 2 nights. From garbage on the room floors, to used hair ties in the shower and left over items from previous guests and the disgustingly dirty unkept rooms. Kids have rashes and blisters and I have conveniently contracted shingles over the whole right side of my face which im now on meds for. After complaining to guest services all they did was thank me for my feedback. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. I summed up the stay by leaving a message written in the caked on dust/dirt that could be found on every inch of the disgusting room. If I could share the pictures they would horrify you.

Nice place, very scenic. Hotel rooms & hallways have a dated look. Pools were refreshing. Staff was courteous, but service was lacking. On two separate occasions I requested a item, both times I had to remind staff about requested items.

We have been vacationing at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa for many years. Harrison Lake is a magical place and is especially beautiful at Christmas time. The Harrison Hotel is an older hotel with a certain nostalgic charm. There are most certainly areas of this hotel that could use some improvements. The most annoying thing is the brutally slow Wifi connection. We love the food in the Copper Room and the music provided by the Jones Boys. The one thing that we also noticed this year was the lack of staff. Wondering if management is cutting back and not providing the level of service that we are used to seeing at this hotel. It would be nice to see some upgrades to this fine hotel.

I went there for a company party and the staff was spectacular. Fast and polite. The rooms maybe a little older, but they have done work to modernize it. The hot spring pools were really awesome, but it was a company event so no other people were there. I wouldn't be able to tell how packed the place would be normally. I would go again.

It is good and relaxing. Service is good. The sound proof is a bit weak. Also the hot springs are more like warm swimming pools. The food selection nearby (especially during lunch time) are limited and not worth the price.

I am a world traveler. I have stayed at luxury and bargain properties around the world, and am sorry to say I am very disappointed with my recent stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. We checked in on a Saturday and pleasantly enough, there was no line-up and our room was ready early (this was around 1:00pm). We stayed in the West tower and unfortunately, it has not been updated for many years. There were scratch marks lining the interior hallways, the carpets were encrusted with dust in parts of our room and the decor was seriously lacking. Our room had a beautiful view, but our bed was very old and hard. We did not really sleep properly due to the hardness. As well, the comforter on the bed was extremely thin, which was odd since it is the middle of Vancouver winter. The bathroom in our room was comically small, my partner is a very large man and couldn't use the toilet without bumping his shoulders… seriously! During our weekend stay the outdoor pools were very crowded (not the fault of the hotel, just a note). The pools also seemed poorly maintained as there was quite a bit of dirt at the bottom of the pools and lime scum throughout. We could not find additional towels at the pools, but this may have been our oversight. We booked a lovely dinner on Sunday night at the Copper Room which I was greatly looking forward to. We purchased a package with our stay, so it was great that our meal was included, I would recommend doing this for other guests.

The service is okay. In comparison to other hotels, it seems to me, the staff that I dealt with, just want a job. They don't remind me of a place like Fairmont Whistler where the staff seem like it's their career. The food at the Lakeview restaurant is okay. Maybe we got them on a bad night because other visits were better. This time, it was tolerable but just barely. The decor is okay. It's very dated, but at least it's very clean and presentable. I know it would cost a lot of $$, but it would be great to see an update. The biggest draw to this establishment is the hot springs pools. Love that part of this hotel. It's so relaxing! And I also feel overall the price for what you get is fair. To compare with Fairmont is slightly unfair due to the prices of that chain. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Our arrival was met with warm staff that booked our room and upgraded us to her choice of the best room for our second night as they're booked for our package. Dinner and music was fantastic and the massage the next day exquisite. They moved everything for us into a spectacular room we couldn't ask for betters. Breakfast is great, staff so happy to help. We will be back!

In response to the high parking fees. It used to be free. There is ample parking in the mail parking lot, never seen it full. The extra fees are just to increase their revenue. The last stay, my room had a defective key card, instead of just giving us another room, the staff fiddled with it for our entire three day stay. Another small point, the website promised free Wi-Fi. When I got there the staff wanted to charge for it. Come on folks, you are over priced anyway, why try to squeeze the guests for every bit you can?

I have stayed in the Cabins at the Harrison Resort a few times now, and my wife and I were looking for a weekend away and I was informed it would be $319.00 per night! I was shocked by this, I am sure this is a lot more than I paid my last stay. It did however include the $30 pet fee but still… $319.00 for an outdated but quaint cabin. My wife and I stayed at a Resort & Spa (Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina) just outside Sechelt this summer which included a newer 2 bedroom suite with 2 baths with soaker tub, full kitchen dining area and full living room with fireplace and every suite has a full ocean view deck with BBQ included plus salt water pool, hot tub, and spa services. The cost for this is very close to the same cost as an old cabin at the Harrison. My wife and I do enjoy our time when we have stayed at the Harrison Resort but I am not willing to pay $319 a night for it.

I intended to come and spend my anniversary night here but after reading all the negative comments I am seriously hesitating… I visited this hotel years and years ago and the experience was nice. Although I already found the place to be overpriced for what they offer and the staff quite pretentiously superior. Now reading all the comments I see that this hotel is still overpriced for the service they offer. Pay parking? Bad food! Dirty! CHlorinated water!? woaw and on top of that the owner keeps on trying to justify why this and that! Try bettering your service and stop viewing guest as milking cows might be a better approach. In the meantime, mr owner, I am sorry to say that your poor review score just made you loose a potential customer. Stop justifying, start improving is the key here!

Wow! Can't believe I've lived here forever and not stayed at the Harrison Resort. Our agent booked us in a top floor superior room in the East Tower with a lake view and it was gorgeous and clean. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in a hotel for ages. Walking around the resort I can see why there is a discrepancy in room types. I'd definitely only stay in the East Tower with a lake view. The pools were so relaxing. We stayed in the adult pool for the most part as we left our kids behind. If I had one complaint it was hearing the kids in the other pools have a great time. They also were allowed in the indoor pools until 11:30pm which made us steer clear of there in the evenings. Have the pool bar open was a treat. You could grab a cocktail or a snack and then lounge by the pool. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast one morning and found it good value and loved The Copper Room experience. We felt a bit like we were rushed in and out of there but really enjoyed the seafood platter and our mojitos. Prices were comparable to other fine dining restaurants in the city, though drinks seemed less expensive. The town of Harrison is very quiet but we enjoyed breakfast one morning at the LakeView Cafe and dinner one night at The Black Forest Steak and Schnitzel house. The food was fantastic. We also love the lake and had fun renting a Sea Doo for an hour. Pricing was comparable, if not a bit less, than other lakes.

Wow! My wife and I arrived at the resort to have dinner and dancing in the Copper Room for our wedding anniversary. We arrived at the front entrance to be told by the valet that he could park the car for $14 or we could park it ourselves in the lot. He also told us he wasn't sure how much it was in the self-parking lot, which I found hard to believe. Let me inform him now, it is $5.00 PER HOUR to park in a self parking lot in Harrison Hot Springs. Are you kidding me? This is not downtown Vancouver, with all due respect to the folks who live there, it is still a small town far removed from a major urban area so my first instinct is the resort is ripping me off with parking. To be fair, re the evening, the music was great, the waiters were friendly, however the entrees were way over priced, and mediocre at best. C'mon folks, you can do better than that, get your parking rates in line with reality and if you are going to charge that much for entrees in the Copper Room, then make them memorable… we were very disappointed and will never return and we intend to share this experience with all our friends.

These hot springs are highly chlorinated. Chlorinated! I travel across the world swimming in hot springs and I've never encountered this. I hate to make fun of those who talk about the rejuvenating quality of these springs, but you're basically paying $200+ to swim in a chlorinated swimming pool if you stay here. You are also paying to stay in a town with no good food or drinking venues. There are many natural springs nearby. I suggest skipping Harrison Hot Springs and visiting those.

Ugly, outdated property, rude staff, mediocre hot springs, dingy town. I can't overstate how rude I found the front desk staff and manager of the hot springs. I would hesitate before booking any event here. I also found it hilarious that the hotel attempts to charge for parking, while the city parking is free. Although Harrison Lake is beautiful, we regretted driving from Vancouver to spend the night here. Beware in advance that it is hard to find quality food & drinks in this town. I should add that the public seem pretty upset that Harrison Hot Springs limits access to the hot springs to hotel guests and those who are willing to pay $100/person to get a spa treatment, and they should be outraged. There are no hot springs in any other state that I am aware of that do not grant access with a day pass. I hope the city's citizens win this fight!

Very rude service asked for towels said their wasn't any come back in 10 mins charged us for waters in the room that were not even in the room when we got their room service only made one of our beds other then this it was a great hotel and spa.

We have been staying here for the past 8 years. It started as a honeymoon destination for my husband and me 8 years ago. Our dream vacation. Since then, it became a family tradition when we started making babies. Each summer (minus one or two), we would go back and book a room there to enjoy the pools with our girls, or with just each other. We've come back every year. Last year, we missed it because we had a newborn. So this year, when we went back for our vacation, it had been two years since we've gone. Things have changed, and not for the better. The positives: — The pools continue to be the best asset of this resort. We LOVE the pools. We would live in them if we could. — The area, but that really has little to do with the resort itself. — The staff are always very helpful and kind. The negatives: — The room we got was clean on the surface, but sticky, dusty, and dirty upon further investigation. Leave it to a toddler to show you how clean (or dirty) something is. We got the most expensive room because it was the biggest and accommodated what we wanted as a "living space" outside of home. The counters were sticky, the floor was dusty (our feet were gray within minutes of walking barefoot). Inside the cabinets and drawers were sticky as well. The room was old. For the most expensive room (we paid a good shiny penny for this), you'd expect that they would make sure this room was continually updated and CLEAN.

My husband and I go to Harrison hot springs resort every chance we get Its very relaxing and the pools are amazing! I plan on going with my friend next weekend she has never been! Girls night out! Cant wait! The only thing is the food is very pricy for what you get! I have suggested better quality food or lower prices! I recommend if you go there and enjoy! The pool access rooms are great.

I had to make three noise complaints about people next to my room (I could hear them swearing, throwing stuff against the wall and also could smell smoking through the door that connected my room and theirs) and finally was able to go to sleep around 1am. I started my first complaint around 10pm, second one 12 am, then last one 1 am. When I called the front desk about the noise, only thing they told me was "I will ask my manager to check". I came to relax but left feeling more tired due to lack of sleep. I enjoyed the pool but wished they had been more strict with noise complaints.

This is mainly a review on the WEDDING aspects of Harrison Resort I stayed in the Honeymoon suite with my now-husband and had my wedding ceremony in the gardens. Our wedding planner, Eric, was a great guy but he was never on top of information and quoted incorrect pricing several times, it was honestly rather exhausting. Our reception dinner prices were decided last year and he said they would be 39$ per plate. When we got down to signing our paperwork and such, however, this was NOT the case. Now, he says the price is going to be raised to 55$ per plate plus taxes and gratuity for an equivalent meal. Um, what? Luckily he did see his error and gave us a special discounted menu at 45$ per plate which was wonderful though it was NOT what we asked for. I voiced my concern several times but was pretty much given a "sucks to be you, do you want to stay here or not? " kind of vibe. Eric also failed to tell us about a music licensing fee, which was an irritating surprise. A few months before the wedding, Eric got a new position in the company and shuffled his duties onto a lovely woman by the name of Shavon. Shavon was wonderful, though seems to have her hands very full. It's oftentimes difficult to reach her and she doesn't always respond to your calls. That said, she made sure that everything was correct from here out and apologized for Eric's mistakes.

The newer tower is amazing! The old one does smell a bit though. The Pools are crowded in the early noon hours, but eventually dissipate. The Staff are super nice, and you can get one of the best buffets you'll have in a while, at least in my opinion. The Buffet is Awesome! But get to it early if you want to skip the line — up. At four on weekdays, they have free tea and cookies in the main lobby! You really should check it out.

We have been to Harrison several times. My kids love it, I think the area is beautiful and we love to hike around the lake. I have tried every wing and this time we stayed on the pool view side which I thought would be fun. It was extremely loud, LOUD, right up until 11pm. I blame this mostly on the guests and not being observant to the fact peoples rooms are right above. We had some screaming babies below us so in a nutshell was pretty sleep deprived this go. Would not book in that room again. Lakeview is much nicer and quieter. Yes, the rooms need to be updated, I have spent the same with really nice accomodations but that is not why we go there. Our room attendant, Deb, was a lovely lady and we love the staff. We go for the experience and it is what you make of it. It was pretty busy this trip so mid-week is more our style. We go every year and will continue to do so because of the destination itself. Thanks Harrison.

The hotel needs a major renovation the rooms are super old and smells bad! It's little expensive for nothing include except using the pools! definitely I won't come back again.

I just arrived at 11:30. I asked front desk to check in but the woman in front desk was very unfriendly! She said NO! We r now checking out you have to wait until 12:00! I was the only one in the line. There was nobody! I was visiting your resort years ago reguraly. Even my son had broke jaw on Dec 2014 because of icy steps I didn't think about sueing your hotel. I am very unpleasant. You have to teech your employee if your hotel want to survive. Loyal customer like me would go away. I will give her name if u want.

Let me start by saying that at your hotel I had experienced the worst value/price ratio I have ever seen. And I have stayed at many hotels in US, Europe, and Asia. Just for the room and parking we paid $200 per night and the room was shabby, not very clean, and extremely loud. On top of everything our window was broken. Our friends who were staying the neighboring room had the toilet broken. So the stay started with calling maintenance to both our rooms. The conditions were so bad, that all of us in fact left a night early without asking for a discount or refund just because we wanted to leave because we were uncomfortable. But the worst thing of all is that I was charged someone else’s bill. At the check out the lady never asked me for approval of the bill. She charged my credit card but I quickly noticed that I had a charge at the bar listed on my account. I never visited the bar. I notified her about the mistake and she refunded me. Later when I arrived I noticed a very huge pending transaction on my credit card, which I did not recall. I called the back and they told me that on top of the $410 bill that I already paid, Harrison Hot Spring Hotel and Spa was charging me another $600. THIS IS SOMEONE ELSE’S BILL! The money is dated Dec. 30, but I just checked in on that day! I live in the U. S. And it is extremely inconvenient for me to call you, because I do not have an international calls plan. On top of everything you overdrafted my bank account!

I have been here a few times in the past 10 years. In my impression, the room was "outdated" as described by other reviewers, but the outdoor hot pools, the lake and the mountains were enjoyable. So I took my kids and girlfriend back again yesterday. It was a rainy Friday. Even though it’s a weekend, who would stay in the pools under the rain? So I expected it shouldn’t be that busy. But I was totally wrong. We’ve got a lot more people (immigrants, international students and tourists) pouring in Greater Vancouver these years, you will absolutely see this in Harrison Hot Springs. If I would come back again, I would definitely try a week day, not a weekend any more. The hotel check-in is 4pm, check-out is 11am. I was afraid that the kids might not have much time to stay in the pools. So we arrived at 3:50pm. I was trying to unload kids and our luggage at the hotel main entry but could not find a spot for my car. There were 5 cars on the drive way, 4 of them were shut off with disappeared drivers. There’s one car on the left lane unloading, which was blocking the traffic behind. It would be nice for the hotel to assign a staff to manage the traffic during peak time or at least put a big sign. We stepped in the hotel at 4pm, waited over 15 minutes in the line until our turn. The lady said our room was not ready yet but the maid was already in it and cleaning. She did not give me the key right away. She said we needed to wait for 15 minutes in somewhere else.

It's the 1st. Time for both me and my husband. We were both very disappointed with the schedule of the pools. We are early birds and was hoping the pools could open earlier before 8:00 am, like maybe 6:00 am, and NO KIDS allowed between 6:00 am~9:00 am. It's not enjoyable at all with all the pools always full of people and on top of that, screaming kids! BTW, The color curtain in our room was very dirty, looked like had not been washed for many years. The lake view from our room was the only thing we enjoyed. Unless their pools ever change to a better and improved schedule, or else we do not plan to go back.

We paid 200 for a night at this resort. What a rip off. Need major updating! The hallway on the 8th floor we stayed on stank body Odor! It was disgusting. The room doors closes and locks are not very smooth. So you hear every other people entering their rooms. The furniture in our room was really worn out and the carpet long the wall appeared dirty! Not good!. When we arrived at the reception, there were tons of people, and really noisy kids. We could barely hear the lady behind the front desk. I will not comeback ever. Overrated big time. Spend just a little more money and go to Sparking Hills in Vernon.

We woke up in our cabin at 7:00 a. M, with our infant daughter, to discover that the tempurature was the same inside the cabin as outside; 12 degrees celsius (54 fahrenheit). Visits by two different parties determined that the heat was not working. Not the end of the world. What was truly surprising was the reluctance, at checkout, to acknowledge that this constituted a problem at all. Presistance, after an offer of nothing, resulted in an offer of 7% off our room bill (for an outdated, bare-bones 279$ cabin). More persistance led to an offer of 18% off our room bill.
