Took my husband for his birthday and we had some issues with our Groupon but the staff at the help desk were very understanding and let us check in while they contacted the other party to verify booking. The food in the restaurant was very nice and served with fresh veg. Overall the weekend was great and we had a sport of golf. The staff were also helpful in sharing some of the town’s highlights and areas of interests.

Been to St Eugene many times. Great wedding venue with gorgeous views, excellent restaurant, enjoyable casino and an awesome golf course. Staff have also been great hosts for any staff Christmas parties that I have attended. They also have some unique events at times that can be a lot of fun. I never miss their Canada Day lunch and I've really enjoyed Rocktoberfest. I have never stayed there for the hotel though. Might want to check other reviews for that.

Hotel was what was expected for a older style refurbished building. Friendly staff everywhere. Gorgeous views. Nice course, didn't always feel like I was hitting the same club or shots over and over again. Love how they have the food shack right in the middle and lots of washrooms spread all over the course. Only reason the course isn't getting 5 stars is because there wasn't a discount on the course when staying at the hotel.

Such a gorgeous quiet resort just on the outskirts of cranbrook. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool is heated so you can go out and still enjoy it if it runs a bit cooler outside. Ate at both the restaurant inside the hotel and at the golf course, both had a wide range of options for food. The resort is pet and family friendly.

We went for a friends wedding (absolutely gourgouse place to have a wedding). I do not golf but my boyfriend does and he thoroughly enjoyed their course. Their restraints where tasty. Rooms where clean and the grounds are beautiful. The spa is difficult to book with just because no one is ever in the spa or answering the phone. Their services are good it is just difficult getting ahold of them.

Beautiful new KIA Kampground! Large level lots with your own grass area with picnic table and fire pit. The main building has private toilet/sink/shower room complete with hair dryer! Your camping fee gives you access to the hotel pool and 2 hot tubs. You can order food from the hotel and have it delivered right to your campsite. The casino is small but nice.

The rooms were well kept and the beds were comfortable. The old architecture of the builder were fun including the history of the building. The facilities for the conference I was attending were very good along with the food provided by the hotel being tasty. The hotel staff was friendly as we had to interact with them quite a bit with some of our activities at the conference. Good experience. I thought there would be a separate place to review the restaurant in the hotel and there's not. The food was really good with the ability to order room service or charge your meal to your room. The beer battered fish and chips are huge and the duck poutine was awesome! My first experience with it and loved it.

Wow is all I can say A stunning location that combines a dark history into a shining example of perseverance, positivity and vision. This is a must visit from both a historical perspective, an indigenous educational perspective and a beautiful outdoor location. Take the time to experience the Speaking Earth tour, the sleeping in the tipis and the fireside chat with the elders.

Golf was amazing. Very well kept property will friendly staff. Very reasonable prices as well.

Finally got to play this course and was not at all dissappointed except in my game. Views r very nice and the staff is nice and very helpful. I will go back… soon.

Dear St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino, How do you live with yourselves? Seriously? How do you live with yourselves knowing that you have destroyed lives, families and smaller companies, by not paying companies what is rightfully owed for the construction and work that has been done to create St. Eugene and to make it what it is today? How do you live with yourselves knowing that families have lost EVERYTHING, literally, because of your greed and selfishness? How do you live with yourselves knowing that families with children, were forced out of their homes, and forced to live off of food stamps, all because you filed for bankruptcy and couldn’t pay the MILLIONS of dollars that’s owed to these companies, millions of dollars that are STILL to this day, 15+ years after the fact, owed. How can you honestly sit back, prospering in your success, at the cost of so many? How can you sit back and be pleased with yourselves, when so many can’t even retire at the proper age because of EVERYTHING that YOU have taken away from them? Again I ask, how do you live with yourselves?! I think it’s pretty ironic that when certain news articles make headlines that involve First Nations people who have broken the law, been caught, and been punished, that First Nations people are so quick to throw out the racism card and are so quick to blame the “white people” for injustice. So then I ask you, just what would you call this situation….

St Eugene Golf Resort & Casino is home to a well-rated and always popular golf course. This tree-lined and open parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. One to include on your play list if you are in the area. At this Stay&Play facility, you can rise from your bed in the morning and head straight for the first tee.

Great deal for off season room. Pools and hot tub are amazing and were exactly what the Dr ordered after a long day of driving. Comfortable bed. Great room with a view of the pools. Only 4 stars because the service in the restaurant was extremely slow. But the meal was good.

Cool place, great views and some nice amenities! However, I'm almost 100 percent positive the rooms get cleaned like you see on those hidden camera shows. My sheets were dirty and my glasses in my room liked like they just rinsed them from the previous guest! I'd go back to golf but wouldn't stay in the hotel! Oh and put some lights in your parking lots, you can't see a darn thing out there at night!

Great restaurant. Rooms could do with an update. Grounds are beautiful and great for pictures.

Nice hotel, older building modernized. Can be quite confusing to get around inside. Even with hockey teams it was very clean. Nice outdoor heated pool and hot tubs, steam rooms. Only issue was the gift shop is closed Saturday and Sunday and being a short trip on a hockey bus I couldn't get my kid a souvenir for her first B. C. Trip.

We enjoyed a clean room to stay in, a lovely meal in the lounge and friendly servers bringing us drinks (soda and coffee) while we spent a small amount of time in the casino. We got a great deal on our stay and hope to go back again soon.

It used to be a nice place. Check-in was being remodelled which is fine but no signage to help locate the new check in. Room is falling apart. Headboard ripped out of the wall. Extension cords left for us to plug lamps in. Rooms smells of old car freshener. Greeted at Sunday brunch by omelette guy texting on his phone and power saws running right beside the brunch table at 9am. We said we were leaving and they attempted to charge us 4 dollars for coffee. Better options in the area.

Had a great Christmas party, food was great. We all had a blast at the casino.

Don't book a room later at night over the phone a month ahead… Booked this hotel in a block of rooms for a wedding over the phone a month out and the worker seemed to fumble with the reservation system got me to hold a bit and repeat my information a lot but preceding to reassure me my room is booked and confirmed. Show up today the day of our booking and they can see my reservation but says it was incomplete from an employee and they now have 0 rooms available at the resort and have us on an cancellation waitlist. They did find us another hotel but didn't comp us for it and gave us one 1 taxi voucher when there are 4 of us hoping to hang out at the same Hotel our family and friends are at.

Had lunch at the 19th Hole after a meeting in the Chief David conference room. Beautiful room. Lunch was outstanding. CAB (Canadian Angus Beef) Burger & fries. Would definitely eat there again.

Beautiful scenic historic spot. We went for a wedding. There were 2weddings in resort that weekend. Staff friendly and accommodating (what there was of them). Only one bartender for cocktail party. Breakfast took over an hour because kitchen got behind only one waitress who also did cashier. Server in louņge didn't know how to make many drinks, had to find bartender. However, food very good, rooms lovely.

Attended a wedding there and very much enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and the venue was perfect for our needs.

Great course. Great views. Perfect to play in September.

We came for 2 nights and also golfed 18 holes. We were in a deluxe room in the main building and it was very nice. The room was large and the bed was super comfortable. It has a great charm and ambience to it too. The golf was excellent as it is a great course and in excellent shape. We week be back for sure.

The location is absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful scenery and the hotel itself looks like it's out of a movie. The room was what you would expect from a hotel like that, very clean, nice decor and the the amenities at the hotel were very nice as well. Pool, weight room etc. We would definitely go back.

The casino is a fun place to go. The restaurant has really good food. The people are nice.

This location is fantastic and beautiful as well as close to many activities and amenities. Our family enjoyed our time here immensely and would be happy to return again should the opportunity present itself.

The chamber was large enough for unexpected family of 4. We are swimming in the pool outside in the winters! Good fun, in awesome casino — you gotta go!

Love the new smokehouse menu. Food was good and service was also good. Large portions of food and good policies regarding young kids. Prices are a little high but not prohibitively so. Would have liked it better if the American guests hadn't idled their giant tour bus style vehicles outside for half an hour.

Beautiful views, comfortable beds, excellent new menu (try the smoked duck pasta… mmmmmm). Always a great time! Will see you soon!

Nice location, friendly and accommodating staff, great food, comfortable beds. Ceiling in my room was around 5-6 meters high, which was really cool. Short drive to ski hills.

I stayed here for one night (Sunday) while on business in Cranbrook. The hotel/resort came recommended by one of my colleagues who had stayed here on a previous business trip. The surroundings and location a very nice but the front desk service could definitely use some fine tuning. Upon walking in, I was expecting to be greeted with a minimum 'Hello' but both ladies behind the front desk just stared at me until I asked them if everything was ok? They became flustered and snapped out of whatever 'zone' they seemed to be in. You'd expect more from a so called 'high end' resort, especially when paying a higher premium. I then mentioned how my co-worker recommended the hotel and how she mentioned that I should ask for a room in the Mission part (main building) of the hotel. Older rooms, more rustic looking and additional amenities. My booking was for a King room, but I didn't realize it was in a different part of the hotel. Closer to the Casino wing. Which was ok as well since they wanted to charge me an additional $30 to stay in the main Mission building. If the hotel would have been booked (there were 2 guests in the whole place), I completely understand and wouldn't expect an upgrade but for someone staying here for the 1st time, and coming from a positive recommendation, I'd expect a better customer experience. No need for an upgrade but at least greet your guests.

While I have been to the valley many times over the years I had no idea this place existed. Nice hotel and beautiful setting. Attended a wedding here and they really seemed to do a great job accommodating the wedding party. It's nice to see how the Band turned this tragity into something positive.

Did a 3 night, 3 round golf package. Good hotel. I'm going to only comment on my negative experiences. The jets on the hot tubs aren't very powerful. Sometimes when I went to the pool changing rooms/showers, half of the lights weren't turned on. And there was no way for me to turn them on. Therefore I had to shower in the dark. Some bolts on the dumbbells and a bolt on the exercise bike seat in the fitness room are really loose. The coffee you get in the room tastes like shit. Otherwise I was pleased.

Staying at the resort for the nite. Enjoyed the spar, hot tub, steam room and sauna… rooms a 5 star. A romentic getaway a must with my wife.

It was a beautiful place to stay. A gorgeous old Mission! I loved learning about the history. The food was amazing at the Purcell Grill, and also in the Fisher Peak Lounge. The quality of drink selection on the casino left something to be desired. No free bottles of water provided in the rooms. I feel like they cheap out in a few areas, but overall really enjoyed our stay.

This is my wife and I first time here the grounds are amazing and we stayed in the Resort Hotel. The hotel has has some History as it was a Catholic School. But the rooms are amazing and all done in that 1900s look and feel to it but very warm vibe to it. Would recommend this to anyone that love history and that contemporary feel and the view of the mountains is beautiful.

Beautiful resort with tons of historical character. The surroundings are spectacular and the facilities are excellent, staffed by friendly and well-trained personnel. An excellent golf course borders the hotel, but don't take a walk on it's perimeter without expecting a visit by a crabby custodian warning you not to "steal any balls. " There is a foul smell in one part of the hotel, which may have once been part of a horse stable. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
