Omgosh, the best place to stay!
Our room was amazing with views of the Elk chair and the hill overlooking the hot pool. Then to ski was so easy in and out. Our stay was not long enough. The hot pools so great after a ski day. … The last day I went to Neve Spa where I had the deluxe pedi amd mani with the amazing Courtney. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Large clean room, amazing customer service. The resort is beautiful and all of the staff is super friendly. We didn't eat at any of the outlets but everything else was perfect for what we needed. Summer rates are reasonable. We will be back!

Had such a great time here. The rooms are so spacious, everything you need. It feels like home. The mountain views are perfect. The hotel gave us complimentary chair lift vouchers to check out the sights. The pools and hot tubs were great. If you have a chance to visit the ice bar and the restaurant do it. Its pricey but well worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

Super friendly staff. Cirque restaurant and ICE Bar had great food, and the vodka experience (esp. On 1/2 price Wednesday) was really cool. Rooms are huge, air conditioning worked well.

The reason why I am giving this place 3 stars is because, when we made our reservation, there was no information whatsoever about renovations and private functions. We spent our Canada Day Holiday here and could not open a single window in our little apartment because there were construction guys working just outside. We also could not drink or eat here because the only restaurant/bar was closed for a private function. This type of information should be in bold and capital letters before you pay $300 a night. However, if it were not for that I feel like we would have enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful views! Clean, cozy rooms, private balcony, year round pool and hot tub with amazing views! Loved it here.

Had my wedding here in May, It was STUNNING, the venue itself is just beautiful. From start to finish everything went beautifully. The wedding coordinator Stacy was so much help throughout the whole process, she was always quick to answer all my questions and be as helpful as possible. The food and Drink coordinator Jess was also very helpful and so nice. All of the staff at the Lizard creek were so friendly to us and all of our guests. We had a blast, and I am so happy we chose Lizard Creek as our wedding venue.

Great location and the unit was clean and did not feel dated. Loved the swimming pool and grabbing a drink at the bar after a long day. Would be back for sure.

I called the lodge directly to book a few night there. The front desk girl Kerri was not very friendly and not accommodating at all. We will book somewhere else!

I had a very poor and rude check in experience. The desk clerk presented me with an invoice from Lizard Lodge for $498, when my invoice was $630 with RCR. The manager very rudely confiscated the paper from me and destroyed in front of my eyes, even though I insisted that I wanted to keep it. The manager (who refused to give me her name) was extremely dismissive, rude and was simply insulting. Why was a I given an invoice for $498 @ the time of check in when I had already paid for $630 to RCR? The whole experience was a real turn off.

Great place! The Condos are very nice and a great place to relax after skiing. The restaurant was excellent, the entrees were great and the service was very good. We loved the indoor parking and the outdoor pool and hot tub.

Beautiful hotel and amazing food! We were snowed in and found LCL. Luckily we did because it was beautiful. Our room, was great for a family of 4. Basically a cute apartment! Two bathrooms, lovely king size bed, and a pullout — not super comfortable but okay for 1 night. Neat outdoor pool and hot tub. But be aware, you’ll be going outside to get from your accommodations to any of the amenities. The food at Cirque was amazing (we all had beef tenderloin). However, skip dessert as it wasn’t the best, the Pana Cotta was too stiff and the Earl Grey Creme Brûlée just didn’t work. They had, what looked like an amazing Ice Bar but having kids we couldn’t experience it. It is $30pp, you are guided through the bar and tastings with a concierge… fancy! Lol.

Best ski in/ski out that I have ever seen. The location is simply amazing. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room 1101 needs update, mostly in the bathroom. The shower head and caulking around the bath need replacement and the window treatments in the room were beat up. Parts of the wall in the entrance were chipped too. A spiderweb could be seen on the celling near the bed. The setting is so nice that you forget these small negative points.

Best ski trip hands down! Really nice staff who were very helpful and accomodating, great hot tubs. The rooms were super clean and spacious. Best ski in and ski out in Fernie.

Great location, you can ski straight down to the lift. Rooms were clean well maintained and we're equipped with kitchens, washer and dryer. Plenty of facilities, pools, hot tubs, excercise rooms, didn't try the food. Staff were friendly and good.

Great stay would never say no if they gave me a couple free nights!

A really nice lodge that's right beside the ski hill. Staff were friendly and really polite, service at the bar was slow despite there only being 5 customers and 2 staff. The hot tubs were being renovated but were open. That being said, they were very cool. Lukewarm rather than hot! The rooms were great, very clean and spacious.

We come here yearly. The condos are very well equipped. Great trails nearby. The Elk river is close if you like cutthroat fishing. The mountain biking is out of this world. The lift is right outside the door of the resort. Try the ice bar!

Nice enough place. Ilthe rooms are getting a bit tires but the kitechette made it worthwhile overall. The steam room had been out of order so long it was being used for storage of bathroom supplies.

I loved this place. Felt like home. Swimming in an outdoor pool or soaking in the hot tub surrounded by mountains what more could you want!? And it's an affordable summer holiday. Different suits for families or groups of different sizes. We really enjoyed our time here. It's a great village with a great atmosphere and so close to Fernie.

Very nice hotel. We stayed one night. It's bed and pull out bed were very soft and we had a good view from the room. Full kitchen and we could have lived their. Modern and nice design, perfect for what we needed. As well if you are there to mountain bike like we were; the room is hotel is right beside the predominate lift for mountain bikers.

We come back every year and are never disappointed. The accommodations are great, and the kids make great use of the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Looking to impress… or need a place with kitchen and multiple rooms for the family… this is a good choice. Lift is right out the front door.

Love the decor of the bar/restaurant. Enjoy the little kitchen in the room. The bed is super comfy and the view is beautiful. Also really good service/friendly staff. The only complaint I have is the water pressure, it leaves a bit to be desired.

Great spot, excellent rooms. Helpful staff. Looses 2 stars due to the stupid 4pm check in time.

Great ski-in and ski-out accommodations. The one bedroom Studio was very spacious and well equipped with all the amenities necessary. The spa and exercise facility was very nice. The food was limited but very tasty. The crib I was much smaller than anticipated and for $37, I expect in a larger piece of elk. But overall the service was very good and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to ski at Fernie Alpine Resort.

Went for dinner at Cirque. The food was delicious! And the presentation of the food was beautiful! We were able to call and make a lunch reservation for a large group and it was worth it! Some of our group went to the vodka ice bar and they had a blast too! Overall great place to eat.

Really nice accommodations, needs better placement of wall outlets. Only outlet in the bedroom was behind the bed.

Beautiful location, right on the Fernie Alpine resort. Rooms clean and well taken care of. 10 out of 10

Room was ok. It was great it was right on the hill. But the restaurant was booked for private fuctions all weekend. Made our stay lest enjoyable have to order pizza or drive to town.

The costumer services we received was horrible! we had to wait until 5:30pm for our room to be ready, while we waited they give you a drink coupon but in the fine print its only good for a house wine or domestic beer or pop. Yet even with the coupon the lady at the bar still tried to charge me for my pop. When our room was finally ready the front desk had no idea what they were doing we got checked in and went to our room. 30 mins later the front desk calls me AGAIN to tell me to come back down, so I did and that's were they asked me to pay them $510 right then, when I questioned it the attitude of the staff and manager was the worst I have ever received. Don't ask them for a late check out either because there was a reservation for our room later that day, yet they couldn't explain to me why I had to wait hours for my room if no one can have a late check out! even if there is no one wanting that room don't even bother unless you want to pay $25 for every hour you want to stay! The miscommunication between staff members made for a terrible stay! I recommend this hotel to absolutely no one.

Attended a wedding at Lizard Creek and it was amazing! Mountains, hot tubs, grand fireplaces, cool rooms, great food and lovely people. Hospitality team was amazing! Wonderful experience being a guest and we looking forward to going back for a vacation.

In September of this year my friend got married at Lizard Creek Lodge. Definitely not what we were all expecting. The wedding organizer at Lizard Creek was VERY helpful, but the front desk. Not so much. One of the girls went to the front desk to ask for sewing kits and shower caps, only to be told that they "didn't have any, " without them getting up to check at all. After questioning a little further, she was told to go look in the storage room herself, where amazingly, she found boxes of both sewing kits AND shower caps. The bride requested more towels and shampoo/conditioner in her room, and got none of it. When trying to check in one of the groomsmen was told that he wasn't booked for the night (although he definitely was), then after the groomsman assured the front desk that he booked a room, he was told they had booked him in the other chalets! When renting Lizard Creek Lodge, the lodge itself is supposed to be reserved for the wedding party and all of its guests. Halfway through the actual ceremony (which takes place in front of the fireplace in the lobby) random people were coming in to check in. The bride and groom bought wine from Lizard Creek Lodge, only to find that they forgot to order it for the wedding! Luckily they discovered this before the liquor stores in Fernie closed, and bought wine for the dinner. After dinner and before the dance we had scheduled a slideshow. We were told months before hand that they did not have a projector, but did have a screen.

THE must stay place in Fernie. The only true ski in ski out hotel complex on at Fernie Alpine Resort. Summers are great here as well.
